Came in about a week ago to buy our son a Pet Bunny and to our surprise they had two in the store. So we came back with our son and allowed him to pick out one amongst the two that was there. We were able to get everything we needed to start our new journey with her she’s amazing and is doing well , we were happy about our pet purchase and experience we had here .

Went down there today about 2pm looking for fruit flies in the little tube. They had one and they were all dead. I politely asked after more of them and the young woman at the register acted like I was really annoying her. I'm really sorry it was so busy (I was the only customer in there). I don't normally do this because I have also worked a lot of retail, but at least try. I will visit again in another week or two and see if you have flies in stock. Unfortunately you're one of few local stores that stock them at all.

You REALLY need to get rid of the girl with short hair who seems to be the manager or supervisor (seeing as I notice her telling other employees what to do all the time). I can't get a name because there is no tag and I don't wanna ask because I just want her out my face a.s.a.p. everytime I'm there. She is obviously the "leader" and her attitude sucks beyond comparison. Been coming here 5 years out of convenience and I've reached my limit. I'm always respectful and I've spent soooo much money here over the years. I frequent AT LEAST once a week and purchase from $20-$50 when I'm in there. Please get rid of her! If not, cool...you lost out on my money!

I have a jack Russell terrier mix. She was a rescue from a hoarding situation - no matter what we've tried, she doesn't know how to play. It's hard to give her something to do that'll keep her stimulated. For 4 years, we've tried different types of bones and chew toys. She has no interest in toys, but absolutely destroys any bone/chew within mins that people claim to be long lasting. She loses interest quickly with horns and hooves, so that is a no go. I swung by this store this morning and an employee recommended a certain pork chew that lasts with her pitbull mixes. I'm beyond happy to see it's been 30 mins into her new chew, and it's taking her good time to work through it. She's a happy girl! And I'm a happy customer.

I love this place. Not only is it a quick and easy way to shop for pet needs, they also have a vet on the weekends. On my last visit I had $5.00 in rewards so my pooch got treats for free😊 Love the betta fish wall. They provide a filtered bowl for each fish. Can't wait to go back here!!

A really nice place with a wide variety of supplies for all animals. A girl at the register (straight blonde hair and glasses, sorry to forget your name!) went out of her way to check packaging and ensure which homemade treats were safe from an allergen. Clara, who checked me out, was so sweet and kind. The animals there seem well taken care of, with clean cages and fresh bedding.

I always have a great experience when I'm stopping at Pet Supermarket. It has a calmer and more relaxing atmosphere than places like Petco or PetSmart.

Good selection. Pretty good customer service. I got some SUPER cute cookie dog treats from them yesterday and my dog loves them. Plus they just look so good...I'm not going to lie, I tried one myself 😂 it was good!😏

As a budding aquarium enthusiast I really like this store. Most people wouldn't really think that a general pet store would take the cake in many ways against some aquatic stores but this one does.Recently I have been dropping in about once every 3-4 weeks to pick up a few things and bombard them with my aquarium questions. I really appreciate how they always take time to listen to my questions, make recommendations or let me know if they are unsure instead of guessing about things as you so often find in other stores.While I am getting the hang of keeping my fish tank hobby they have been really patient with me when one of my fish died(my fault) and got me a new one and helped me work out what went wrong. The next couple fish I have bought from here are doing well and all the live plants I have gotten from them are also thriving and look gorgeous!They have also mentioned that they can order certain fish that I might want that they don't normally carry if their supplier has them. This is really cool because most places just have a set type of common fish and it can be a struggle to find something that makes your set up unique.If you are an aquarium hobbyist I highly recommend you stop in here and poke around. They have a nice assortment of fish with hidden gems that you wouldn't see in the other box stores. Finally, over all, I haven't noticed much illness or disease among their fish as well. Just a few nipped fins here and there. I look really closely because most other places have ich like crazy and no one wants that.

Great little pet shop, they DO carry Live Feeder rodents which is hard to find around here now. Nice selection of products. The staff was helpful and they do have a small reptile section with most of the products you will need

Pet Supermarket was awesome! There's a great selection of quality foods and treats instead of the forced commercial brands. The employees were very nice and helpful and knew instantly where to grab the things I was asking for. They even had a pretty good deal on dog toys. I signed up for their VIP program and will definitely be back! It feels great to be supporting a local business too.

Absolutely love my PetSmart in Cary off Walnut Rd. I am disabled and regardless of how busy they are, they always either stop to help me retrieve items, get them to the register and out to my car or immediately radio someone else to meet me to help.Everyone is extremely polite and helpful. I've never felt as if I was bothering them.I do not recommend their grooming salon however, this review is solely for the store. Please do not take your furries to any of their salons. One location killed my friend's pom and I've personally seen a groomer at this location get frustrated with a smaller dog and yank them. I reported them to management but their windows are mostly covered now so I don't know if the groomer is still employed there or not.The store itself and the store employees are great.

Had the best experience today at your store with Michelle Zara and Erin. Im not from the area and they was very personable, made me laugh and help me with great ideas on how to decorate my tank. They helped me make sure I was adapting my fish correctly. A perfectly crew you guys have here. Will be back to shop again.

I love popping in here to get stuff for our dog. The people who work here are all friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of specialty dog treats as well. When my kids were little we'd use it as a "free zoo" while my daughter looked at the bunnies, ferrets, and fish. They were fine with that too.

The building is old and feels over-crowded. For the location of the store you'd expect a more refined look to the place. Also, the prices aren't very competitive. I found some of the same products right next door at Harris teeter for lower prices. You're definitely better off ordering off Amazon or chewy.

Yesterday was my first visit and I will most definitely be back! I went in specifically for the freshwater fish and I was blown away by how incredibly clean EVERY single tank was. Not a single tank was dirty. The water was clean and free of algae. I've never seen such a good variety of fish in a store that doesn't exactly specialize in fish. I was greeted by welcoming staff and was taken care of. What perplexed me most was the fact that I did not see a single fish with any sign of sickness (ich, dropsy, etc.) in any tank. I also found a good variety of decorations both natural and artificial. I would like to recommend to the store to please carry more natural decor such as driftwood and coral rocks please! I purchased every Bosemani rainbow in stock and a TON of community fish. All are happy and healthy!!

This is a great pet store with a friendly staff. Not huge like the big box places, but an excellent selection of dog food, toys, supplies. I haven't been to the cat or fish sections. The staff is always helpful. They carry all of the premium food foods.

Good pet store. Nice selection of pet products. I stopped to admire a nice little rabbit they had in store. It is the one place I can find the Timothy hay cubes my rabbit likes to nibble on. Join the pet parks (or whatever it is named) for discounts.

I love this place, this is where I get most of my supplies for my puppy. Also they have competitive prices compared to the pet pad in Cary or unleashed. Highly recommend the oatmeal shampoo for your dog or cat since it helps soften the fur or hair.

First time in a Pet Supermarket and I was very impressed!! Way more birds and small animal pets like rabbits, ferret, hamsters then I have seen in the other chain pet stores in the area. All in very clean cages. The inventory of pet supplies was massive. Fish and aquarium supplies brought me in today. I am a fish guy and very critical of their care and well being! The setup they have for Betta Fish is incredible and so much better than racks of bettas in tiny capped jars. They have bubbles hooked to each jar! All fish tanks were well supplied and very clean. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend this pet store!

The staff is friendly and the store is clean. They have a variety of items for pets. I still like my other pet place better, but if I were in a bind I would shop here again.
