best place to get dog chow, treats, and real nice staff. i even got some free samples of food to try out for my very picky westie! i would highly recommend to dog/cat/bird owners. they even have seasonal dog cookies and frozen food/treats! all for pets! i am an will continue to be an avid regular.

Great place, friendly staff, great pet items...adding a response to your question - the drive for me to get to any store that sells the quality products your store carries is approx 50+ miles one way. I would love a store closer to me. Your store is definitely worth the drive, just have to plan way ahead and sometimes the schedules make it difficult, but my cats are worth the best!

The sales associate was so so friendly!! They have a lot of cool dog toys you don't see at a lot of big pet stores, the one I got has become a favorite of my dog's!

Highly recommended!Went to here today with my dog, their price are super good and love their collection as well! They have a lot of treat dispenser which I LOVE to desperately try to let each treat survive longer.They also have a lot of amazing cat goods as well. And the peacock tail feather! My cat's favorite!

I really regret not asking for the name of the associate that assisted me today, but she was the most delightful individual I have ever interacted with. I purchased some toys for my cat, who is obsessed with one specific toy that’s sold at this store. She politely offered to assist me and didn’t hover when I said that I didn’t need any help. She was so friendly at check out and offered a few samples for me to try. She walked me through all of the health benefits and was very knowledgeable! Truly an asset to the team and will keep my husband and I coming back to this store! I highly recommend checking them out and look forward to continuing to do business with them.

Great local pet store. Mostly dog and cat but a good selection of bird stuff as well. Pet friendly just watch out for the buffet of bones and treats at the front that are appealing to the pups. 🍖

This place is the best!I came here for the first time today to get my rabbit’s nails trimmed by Jackie. She was so nice, and did so well with my rabbit. The other staff members were so nice and friendly too!There was a surprisingly wide variety of products for rabbits in the store. They carry Oxbow products, AND they have a rewards program for those products!I live in Chapel Hill, but I will definitely be back after the positive experience I had today! :)

We love pet mania. Always stocked up competitive prices and the nicest employees work here! We always chat for a few minutes and the dogs live to come in and visit. Local family owned shop with a few locations we are happy to bring our business to local vendors.

I just stumbled across Pet Mania, but am I glad to have discovered them! They have great selection of brands. I was looking particularly for Fromm and they had multiple options there. The woman working at the time was very friendly and helpful.I am excited to go back and bring my pup with me. Maybe we'll make a whole event of it - they had an assortment of treats and toys!

I love this store!!! Would leave 10 starts if possible. Always receive the kindest help. Informative and knowledgeable staff. Selection is incredible - good food and treats, not processed junk food like available most places. Doesn’t matter if I buy a $3 treat or bags of dog food am always treated wonderfully. Can’t say enough how wonderful this business is!!!

I like this store, they have a good selection of products. The only reason I didn't give them a better rating was a very rude young lady that waited on me. That girl needs to learn how to treat customers with a little respect.UPDATE: I have continued to go to this store and there's been a huge improvement in the service. The last several visits have been very positive. The lady working there now such a pleasure to deal with, and very helpful. Going above and beyond. Great job 👍

There was a time when my wife and I were coming back from a trip to New Orleans and we ran completely out of our little ones food. This store was not going to be open for us to get a bag so they left it with the restaurant next door for us to pick up and we stopped by the next day and paid.That's putting trust and our needs before all else. I love this store. Everyone is so friendly. You can always ask questions or request items and staff is extremely helpful. I love the fact that they have best quality cat food like Orijen, Acana or Almo Nature, that you can not find at any of the big branch pet stores. I usually get generously new samples for my pets. It is nice to support local business. They are doing great job with great care and individual approach.

My puppy Cooper, when he was just a very small puppy he was having all kinds of problems and Barbara couldn’t have been more helpful with suggesting foods as well as having me run a doggy DNA to see what this little guy was allergic to. I love this store and the service Barbara gives me every time I have a question. Would not go anywhere else. A+++++++ rating and if I could give them a 10 I would. Thank you for your services. I’m trying to be a “local-vore.” After recently going to big box pet store three times last couple months, every single time I asked a question, but it was done so without much enthusiasm and without much care. I have to think perhaps it’s the management perhaps that makes unhappy employees. But upon stumbling upon Pet Mania on my friday Fresh Market run, I was greeted by two so upbeat and smiling young faces! Asked immediately if I needed anything and I said, I just wanted to come in and see what you have :). They said sure! And when I did ask later about a bird cage screen and the young man didn’t think they had one but went to look anyway and said we can probably order one check back! Just very helpful. Told me about owner having three parrots, one rescued recently to make third. Just very engaging and makes for a very personalized experience! This is what you get with “local”!!!

Thought I’d give this place a try after seeing a sign out front saying they can help with itchy dogs... I walked in and out about 5 minutes later. One of the workers was speaking with another customer about how she handles dogs off leash and told a very disturbing story about a personal experience. She was describing a night she was walking her dog and saw two dogs off leash. After describing she was wearing “work boots” she then went into detail about how she threatened to “break the dogs necks if they came near her.” No aggression shown, just that she simply would “step on their necks and break them” if they came near her. Needless to say, I’ll never go back and I encourage others to not spend their money here either. Not a great story to openly tell when working at a pet store!
