Love this place! I’ve taken my dogs to several groomers and hands down, Mosa is the best! I know my two pups are in great hands when they come here. Plus, I love that they focus on one dog at a time and they don’t end up spending all day at the groomer. Thank you Mosa, you guys are awesome!!

My dogs and I love the folks at Mosa! Apart from just being lovely people, the team is incredibly knowledgeable with all kinds of specialties and certifications to offer a holistic approach to caring for pets, there’s no one I’d trust more with my babies.

I don’t trust anyone else to board my boys! When I come to pick them up they don’t even want to leave Mosa! My standard poodles coat is always maintained during his stay which I love. The polices in place really help keep me in check too

We have used Mosa twice - the first time, our bernadoodle was left too long (not what we had asked for). The second time, he got trimmed right but after some shade about how long he was…I am not arguing about the quality of the 2nd grooming. The customer service, as evidenced by numerous reviews here, was completely lacking. We attempted to call them multiple times throughout the day to inform them about our dog’s recent vet visit to make sure all was good to bring him at 1pm. After leaving multiple messages and repeated calls, a human being finally called back around 1145am. Given we were coming from Durham we had no interest in making the haul if they wouldn’t take him.The vibe that they have 1:1 service and know the pup seems very counter to the aggressively robotic “if you are not here in the Grace window, then you are outta luck vibe.” The individual my wife spoke to as she called to inform them she was running late was met with repeated “if you are late, we cannot accept him”. Even when asked “if I am in the parking lot at 1:55 and walk in at 1:56 are you going to turn me away?” - “yes we will”.I own a small business too and understand and respect a need for boundaries to respect both your time and your other customers. That said, I would expect a self professed premium experience (as evidence by their pricing) to provide some grace if your customer is actively engaged in trying to work with you. I sure didn’t get a $1 a minute for every minute I stood in the lobby waiting for someone to come up to the front to allow me to pick up my dog.Quality of grooming aside, we will not be returning to Mosa based on their complete lack of customer service.

I cannot recommend Mosa enough! Amanda and Caitlin are true professionals, they are dedicated to the care of your pups and have an eye for detail. I have a rescue who can get grumpy and nippy during his appointments but they always welcome him back and give him special care and attention. Some groomers rather not work on dogs like this but they need help too! I’m grateful for them. They are also experts on dogs with skin issues/allergies, at Mosa they definitely know how to deal with this and not aggravate their skin more. My pup always comes home looking great and and smelling AMAZING. This is not your typical grooming shop they are heavily trained experts in their field. If you’re looking for the best in the triangle your search is over, this is the place!

We took our standard poodle who is 3 1/2 years old to Mosa on Saturday. It was our first time going to Mosa but the family we got our dog from has been taking him there for quite some time. It's our first experience with any groomer and we were very happy, our dog came out looking fresh and smelled amazing. They were done with him quickly. We took his hair down to a short style and he did get nicked by the clippers. No big deal, it happens, was very happy with how Mosa gave us tips on how to care for it if it started bleeding again. They also made us aware that our dog had some discharge in his ears and to keep an eye on it to make sure it didn't progress into an ear infection.I feel that they truly care for the pets they groom and treat them like family. Highly recommend them! Have attached pics of his before and after.

We took our dog to Mosa for grooming a few times. Our dog was always afraid to be taken back by staff and would not go unless we walked her to the gate where the groomer then took her to the back of the house. On the last groom she received from the business, she got razor burn on her paw. It became infected and she experienced a lot of discomfort because of it. The next time I took her for a groom, because I was understanding that mistakes can happen and it must be very difficult at times to groom a dog, I asked to speak with the owner to discuss the matter. Her response was that I “should’ve told her sooner” about the incident. I was not asking for a comp, money back, or anything else - I just wanted to let her know about the experience because I expected her to have compassion for animals and their comfort. She continued to fight back at everything I said and interrupt me when I spoke, in a very rude tone, and never apologize for injuring my dog. I ended up cancelling the appointment that day after this conversation and we have found a groomer elsewhere. When I cancelled the appointment, her response was “ok” and walking off - extremely unprofessional. I have never experienced an interaction like this from an owner of a company. I understand people have bad days, l and we never truly know what’s going on in a persons’s life to cause poor behaviors, but this was beyond that. To have a complete lack of respect and care for a customer and for injuring an animal, is was heartbreaking. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and we will never go back here due to lack of trust, lack of empathy, lack of respect, lack of care and love for animals, and lack of care provided to our loved one. It felt very much like the do not care about animals and they do this job for the paycheck, not for the love of animals. There is no passion for this company when it comes to grooming dogs, which therefor leads to lack of love and care for both pet owners and animals.

Just had our 6 lb Morkie groomed here. We are very disappointed in the customer service offered by this business. To begin with there are many expectations of customers such as a particular drop off procedure and a penalty for late pickups as well as a 48-hour touch up period that only customers are required to comply with. The staff and business owner can make a mistake or not follow their own rules and yet there is no grace for the customer.Mosa’s drop off policy requires customers to text upon arrival to be let in the building. Understandable rule. My husband arrived at the appointed time (early as required by the business) and texted to alert them he was there. No response. So he continued to wait with our dog in this heat. When they finally let him in, he was told that he was late.Later at pickup -my family was again early as we had been informed there would be a $1.00 per minute late charge. The dog was released late. Again, no consideration for our time.I was out of town for business last week and did not see the dog until Friday. At that point I noticed the groomer had left one side of his face significantly longer then the right side. So much so that the hair was covering his left eye. It wasn’t until Wednesday - a week after the grooming - that I was able to call Mosa and request that they fix this. I was promptly informed that they have a 48 hour touch up policy, but would, this one time, fix it at no charge and offered one appointment time the next day to fix it. Unfortunately that time slot did not work for us.I asked for another appointment time and was told to make an appointment the following week - where I would have to pay a fee to get the mistake fixed.I understand businesses have policies and there are good reasons to have them. This situation though was caused by a mistake on their part. The lack of flexibilty in getting my dog back in (only offering us 1 appt slot - so very much a take it or leave it response) was not appreciated. While I do appreciate their effort to make it right, for this much money - one of the highest rates for grooming a 6lb dog in the area, I feel that there is not enough grace given to customers - who also have busy schedules.Given the good reviews (which is why we choose to try this business) I am sure there are plenty of customers that are ok with this way of doing business.I am not one of them and will no longer take my dog here for grooming.

New to the area and first time using a groomer here, but this is the best my pup has looked after a visit to a groomer in ages. Thrilled and will be coming back for our future grooming needs.

We have been taking our cocker here for almost a year. Amanda goes a great job on her and our girl is always happy to trot in. Amanda has an easy to use online scheduling system and she sends a text when our pup is about 15 min away from being complete. Barnes and Noble is close by so I hang out there.

This past week, my mother had a major medical event with severe problems resulting from that. She was finally released from the hospital this morning and myself and my adult son needed to get her home which was exceptionally challenging as she has Parkinson’s and is very weak and fragile.I spent all morning calling and leaving messages for the groomers our dog had an appointment with letting them know we would be a little late due to said emergency. They don't answer the phones or respond to emergencies. They were beyond rude and unhelpful, I was receiving texts that the appointment was going to be canceled due to tardiness and we would be charged for the appointment either way despite calling numerous times and trying to communicate with them. They did nothing to help alleviate the stress but actually added substantial unnecessary stress to an already painful time. It took multiple calls on my part to even get someone to answer the phone as they won’t return calls.I think a businesses behavior, customer service, and kindness - particularly when hard and distressing things happen - speaks volumes. This was not our first visit or only scheduled appointment and will be cancelling all future appointments with Mosa Pet Spa Grooming. I am sooooooo disappointed and would NOT recommend them ever. Disgraceful!Across the board, I have dealt with dozens of people since the beginning of this event and literally everyone with the exception to Mosa Pet Spa has been amazing. So on the flip side, big shout out to Cary fire, emt, WakeMed Hospital, Bell Preston Reserve, the carpet cleaning company and the general community for being so helpful and gracious and kind.

We took our dog Drew here for the first time today and are beyond pleased with this groomer! We have been struggling to find a good groomer in the area and are happy to finally have found one! Mosa feels clean, well organized, and they do an excellent job at communicating. Highly recommend

Mosa is my go to for my mini Berniedoodle, Fish. Grooming, daycare and boarding. It’s a smaller place where there isn’t a large amount of pups at a time, so your dog will be supervised during playtime and rest time. Fish has some separation anxiety that they work with very well. As far as grooming Fish has always come out looking top notch. They do his face just right!

The customer service at Mosa couldn't be worse. We were customers of Mosa for 2 years and our pup was brought in every 8 weeks or so for grooming and full day dog day care. We missed the 10 minute drop off window, scheduled for 9:00 AM due to a family tragedy- my mother passed away. We woke up that morning, and we were a frazzled mess, overwhelmed, emotional, etc- I didn't even look at our calendar. Amanda, the owner of Mosa, could care less. She refused to let us drop off our dog for grooming (which would happen prior to picking her up- sometime in the afternoon) since we missed the 10 minute window for full day care, and charged us for both the full day dog daycare and a grooming. If you are looking for better customer service than you would get from the DMV or an airline, choose a different groomer. When Amanda was informed of my mothers passing via email she didn’t respond, apparently only a public review warrants a comment which further shows that her clients are not her concern. My credit card was refunded only after I submitted a charge dispute through my credit card.

Mosa has been terrific for my peekaboo. She had some bad experiences elsewhere and got to where she was not cooperative when being bathed or groomed. After taking her to Amanda she is a different dog. She calmly lets me bath her and trim her now when necessary. I love that they only keep her there for an hour and don’t pass her around to multiple people and stick her in a cage for hours! I won’t be taking my baby anywhere else!

Maverick loves Amanda!!! On top of that she does amazing work and he looks great every single time whether it's his fluffy winter cut or short summer cut. I know he is taking care of and given lots of TLC while he has his spa time. Maverick and I both give Mosa 5 stars.

I walk my SIL's dog for exercise, and when she mentioned that her sweet pibble mix was having skin issues, I knew I wanted to help any way I could. In conjunction with her vet, the team at Mosa has taken great care of her and reduced most if not all of her symptoms! They recommended the Skin Therapy add-on to the normal bath service, which includes a mud mask and a salt scrub. Each time she got the service, I could tell a huge difference in how often she would scratch at herself. Now, we go in for a normal bath and nail appt about once every six weeks. It's good to know if she becomes symptomatic again that the therapies received were effective and we can always go back to them.My SIL's dog is still young and can be quite squeamish. The team has always taken great care of her, and they have been very nice to let me know when she was fussy or if they notice anything on her skin/fur without being judgmental or non-compliant. You can tell they really care for their clientele! Now for my favorite parts:* Sometimes you get a free bandana! I think it's as they are available, but they are so cute and change with the season.* Their shampoos and products smell amazing without being perfumed or artificial. Anytime I have seen a TikTok with a dog groomer spraying some blueberry vanilla perfume, I can only imagine the dogs in those videos are suffering. Not with Mosa: the smell is fresh and botanical.* You can book everything online and text to check-in.I recommend booking an introduction visit so they can meet your pet, accurately price/book your initial service, and for you to get used to their location. Yes, it's at a house! But the basement is the main headquarters, and you can tell it's a serious operation in there.I don't remember what their policies are for new customers, and in general, I have found booking in advance to be better. Basically, don't expect to be able to take your dog in for a full groom for the first time the next day (unless some miracle happens?????) But they have never canceled on me, and I really don't know how much more I can gush about this place.Just go already!!!!!!

We love Mosa Pet Resort. They have never accidentally cut one of our dogs. All of the people who work there love your dogs as much as we do! Our fur kids aren't traumatized after getting their nails cut there. I recommend it to all of my animal friends. We had Freddie's face, tail, and feet done today and he looks so handsome! I mean, he is always handsome, but now, extra special. He is one of our four rescue babies. Mosa is very gentle with rescue dogs and we appreciate them!!

Everyone at MOSA takes great care of my dog, Luna! She has been in their care a few times now with special instructions due to an injured dew claw or after recovering from surgery and they give her the extra attention needed. I have full faith when I leave Luna that she will have fun and be looked out for. Luna is so happy every time she returns!

What a poor experience. Mosa damaged all of my dog’s nails with a terrible dremel job and inexplicably shaved her belly and inner hind legs, claiming this is a standard sanitary trim. My dog has been itchy and uncomfortable since. Customer service is nonexistent - the owner was very dismissive of my new client questions and did not respond to my post-groom concerns until I posted in a Facebook group about them. On arrival, my gut told me to leave and I ignored it in favor of all the great reviews. Now I regret it. On top of this, I paid a premium price and my concerns were either dismissed or met with excuses and false statements. I share this review having wished I had seen one like it to consider among all of the positive reviews.

If I could give a 4 and I/2 ⭐ I would. I just never give fives until after three experiences with a provider. But I definitely will be back.Mosa's clear expectations of clients, in and out in under two hours experience, and holistic alternative to crating and leaving a pet all day helped me choose Mosa for my special needs schnoodle for her first post pandemic appointment. My pup loved Cait, looked like a new dog and is happy now with no mats and a fluffy coat. Again, thankful for their care .

We have been using Mosa for both grooming and doggie daycare for about two years. There is much that we have appreciated about them over this time. Sadly, their poor customer service and terrible communication has led us to finally end our relationship. We have always known and accepted that Mosa has strict policies for drop-off and pick-up (they charge late fees if you are even one minute late picking up). We have never knowingly violated these policies. Our dog has gone to day care 2-3 times per week, every week for a long time. We have recurring appointments and pick her up at the same general time every day (around 6pm). Mosa is part of our weekly routine.Several times however, they have changed their policies without communicating clearly with us, resulting in extra fees and threats of holding our dog overnight. When this happened today, I received a text message at 3:55pm that I would need to pick my dog up in the next five minutes to avoid having to board her overnight. I was in a meeting at work across town, and had no idea that they were closing early. I immediately left and started speeding to pick her up, confused about how I had missed this information.I had dropped my dog off in-person that morning and no one said anything to me about closing at 4. When I called to say I was on my way, I was told that they had informed us that they were closing early via the confirmation email I received when booking and via a sign in the lobby. The confirmation email I received was the same standard, automatic email I receive multiple times a week when booking her appointments. It looked identical to others, and I had to look several times to find the fine print at the bottom of the email where it said they were closing at 4. There was no additional email notification or anything to draw attention to the change. I receive probably 20 emails a week from them and it is just frankly unrealistic to expect that your regular customers read the fine print of what is normally a carbon-copy email that they receive multiple times a week every single time. Plus, even if I had read it in full, it would have been easy to miss the information about the time change. As a business owner, you could spent the extra 30 seconds to send a special email to appropriately communicate the change in routine hours and avoid all of this or- maybe tell them when you see them in person at drop-off. That doesn't seem like too much to ask, especially for regular customers who pick up at the same time multiple times a week. When I arrived to pick up my dog, I realized that the sign that was the supposed notice that they were closing early was a small, barely legible piece of copy paper posted inside the lobby, which has plenty of other decorations and distracting things to look at. The sign was not on the outside door where instructions are posted, and there was no reason to expect that people would read or even see the sign, which didn't look like it was an announcement at all.I had to fight to get my dog back tonight- Mosa had every intention of forcing us to board her there overnight because I arrived after 4pm (I was there by 4:15). I am thankful that they reluctantly allowed me pick her up, even though I paid $36 extra in late fees for the additional 15 minutes. This is not the only time we've had issues like this, and every time they put the onus on the customer to somehow anticipate changes. I am by no means suggesting that they should have to bend over backwards, but just making a little effort to share when changes are made and respecting that other people have busy lives just like they do would be nice. Just talk to us.I really value small businesses, and am happy to respect policies that are less convenient than other larger companies. Following these policies, however, requires being informed of them. Good communication is something that should be a feature of a small, personal business, but this is not the case for Mosa. It truly feels as though they do not respect or care about their human customers. I am sad to part ways.

I have been bringing my dog to MOSA for a couple of years now for both grooming and boarding. I can rest easy on vacation knowing Amanda will take care of my dog like she's one of her own. She's always quick to respond, sends photos, and her pricing is competitive, so I'm saving money while keeping my dog in a much more comfortable atmosphere than a large boarding facility. Love Mosa!

Amanda is terrific with my giant, super friendly, but not so fond of the groomer, fluffy dude. She is kind and patient with him while also being super efficient. Also a great resource for the care and keeping of his coat when I am NOT at the groomer :) I highly recommend her service- both for grooming and for pet sitting! She is a wealth of knowledge about a wide variety of breeds and obviously loves the dogs.

I get my three dogs groomed here. They are a lab mix, Chihuahua mix, and Australian Shepherd. The Australian Shepherd requires the most intensive and skilled grooming so I always do lots of research about a new groomer. I was nervous to try a new groomer after moving, but they have been absolutely incredible. They handle my nervous dogs wonderfully, charge very reasonable rates, and do a fantastic job. Highly recommend!!
