DO NOT USE THIS STORE, GO to LOWE's or WEGMANSOn 2/12/23 I went to the store to buy a few things.Store Manager was rude and obnoxious, he would not accept the VIC card and the discount for the Coke on sale.I also went to the self serve check-out and went to pay for my groceries and they would not accept cash but only wanted a card. There was NO identification on the aisle or the screen saying NO CASH but manager would not fix issue.On a previous occasion, this same store and manager when brought to his attention that his baked goods had items with ants crawling all over the goods not only would not remove them for consumption and sale but said, TO BAD, EAT THEM.

Worst customer service, I am permanently gone to Lowes foods or Publix across the road.I tried to get a Harris Teeter VIC card from 2 years but they said they can’t help me whenever I asked. Finally 6 months ago they gave me a card but said they are “busy” and can’t spare another minute to get it activated. Yesterday when I asked if I can get the card activated, the lady there spoke cheap and rude because as per her half knowledge it is not possible to have a card without activation. Luckily I could find the Vic card in my car and I brought it and showed it to her with a smile for which she turned her face away and walked away from there. I now feel bad for smiling to her even after she insulted me.Another employee pitched in, asked me to wait for sometime, and tried to prove to me that I was wrong. When she scanned the card she understood that it was never activated and that they were arguing on the wrong side. She did not even care to apologize, instead she started questioning me how I got a card without activation.The first lady created an unnecessary drama out of nothing. After coming out I thought if it was just about an individual rudeness or the business issue. While that person was definitely cheap, the fact that I have to ask different employees 20 times over 2 years to get a damn loyalty card shows how poor Harris Teeter customer service is. I compared that with Lowes Foods near by and getting their card was instantaneous, professional, friendly and welcoming in total contrast to Harris Teeter.

It has food.Lol but really, if you need the basics like fruits, vegetables, bread, it's there. You aren't going to find the niche items or vast variety of nuts but it's close and I have a membership card.

The store is always clean and the staff are mostly very nice. The people at the deli have been a little rude and short with me the last few times I went in that direction, but the cashiers are very nice and patient. The first time I was ever in a HT was very confusing for me (I don't give them my groceries, i give them my whole cart! Seemed crazy to me) but they were very nice.

good store cashiers are 10/10. I like their yummy cheese pasta. The registers are weird though, their customer service is pretty good. I once visited there 5 years ago and they didn't have the cookies i liked but i still rate it well because i like the color of the store. The publix near it is not as good with customer service so its also rated well because of this....starbucks good.

For the most part I like this location, however - they have the worst produce I think I have ever seen. Grapes are always soft and don't ever buy individual watermelons from this location. They are the worst. I have yet to buy one that was edible. Which sucks because they charge &4.99 for these tiny individual watermelons and they are always, too ripe and half rotten on the inside. I just do not understand why this only happens at "this" particular location.

The staff is always great, store is pretty clean. The produce section is usually a disappointment though. Lots of items are well past their shelf life. Most clientele are disappointing too, but not the store's fault.

This is not the first time they selling smelly nasty old fish ; please check what you buy before going home ; when you call and talk tt the manager he won’t reimburse if you don’t have a receipt; be careful ; the customer service at Harris teeter is getting bad day after day !

I live within walking distance of this location, so I am here more frequently than I mean to be. But I love this grocery store. I’ve never lived near a 24/7 grocery store with beer and wine before! The selection of items is great, and all the staff is friendly and helpful! Get the jalapeño cheddar bread from the bakery, so good!

Place is neat and clean.However, prices seem to be excessive. After purchasing for about $120 during my first time shopping here, I had a question about their prices.For comparison, I checked the price of Planters peanuts large pack online. HT charged $8.99 while others sell the same at $5.34 - HT overcharged more than 50%.. highly inappropriate..So, check the pricing prior to shopping here.

Was here to pick up a couple of items and decided to get a sandwich. It was lunch time (about 12:30). There was no line at the sandwich counter and nobody in the area (hello, lunch time, you should be staffed to make sandwiches). Waited 5 minutes, was told someone would be right with me, but that never happened. There was at least one person that wasn't actively helping a customer. No idea what the problem was. Went to Subway next door and got a sandwich no problem, no wait.

I shop at this Harris Teeter all the time. When it was open 24 hours it was great. I just left this HT after having to scan $175 worth of groceries myself while 2-3 guys stood around watching. I was told they have no cashiers after 10pm. And they were quite rude, particularly the one that came over to telL me several of my items didn’t scan after I reached 35 items. That is truly sad. The world doesn’t stop at 10pm. And if you stay open til midnight then have people working til midnight. I used to work at Harris Teeter and I worked the overnight shift and I was a cashier all night. So I guess you pay these guys to just stand around instead of working. We will be glad to take our business elsewhere.

Since moving down here from Connecticut I have gone to multiple grocery stores. I only like 2. Harris Teeter is on the top because we can get gas points and our prescriptions. Always nice cashiers. I am getting used to the set up of the registers. They are confusing still. I'm not used to the cashiers taking our items out of our carriages.

Im a frequent shopper at this location and their service keeps getting better. I see Tony a lot he is so helpful. Anyways, I went in for wine and ingredients for sheppards pie. When I got home I noticed that I left my wine in the store. I called to make sure it was still there before I left the house to pick it back up. Brian answered the phone and said it was still here at self check. He then asked for my address and said he'd deliver it to me because he already had deliveries. WOW. How thoughtful and courteous! When he arrived at my door approximately 15 minutes later he wouldn't even take my tip!!!! More stores need a Brian he is a true gentleman!

Nice store. Hard for someone unfamiliar with layout to find things, but a new grocery store opportunity is a trap for me, I love to look. I was searching for Q premium ginger ale. They were out. But, it was during Christmas. I will go to this location again. It is close to my brother's home.

Only store I go for grocery and loved it. Now they started closing at 11 PM which I can understand but there at least 7 people who entered after 10:30 pm and had carts at checkout and were not allowed to pay as register was closed. Never seen that at any store. At least let customers checkout or announce that you are closing register. Wasted 30 mnts

The pharmacy staff is amazing. They stay on top of my medications and my allergies. They talk with me and listen to what I have to say. I am very appreciative of their time and knowledge.

I visit this HT every Thursday evening while my daughter is in dance class. Every Thursday the manager is so concerned with closing instead of customers. She takes drawers out of all but 1 register leaving customers to wait or go through self checkout. This HT is the worst ... Never had such a negative experience at any other HT!

I've been shopping at this HT for over 3 months and have always been met with helpful employees and a clean store. I do wish they would get smaller carts like Kroger has. I don't need to push around a monster cart for a few days groceries but need something bigger than a hand held basket.

It is an ok place to go shopping for groceries. However, their prices and pretty high compared to their competitors. In addition to this, the customer service is very slow and not friendly. :( I recommend not going here for everything but they do have good deals here and there.

This store by far has the worst produce and customer service management. Produce is old and some molded and some that seem ok is rotten once you get it home. Management is poor and don’t care. The worst Harris teeter I’ve ever seen.So unprofessional, rude and nonchalant to customers on the phone about there concerns. It’s so unfortunate cause it’s my neighborhood store

Like the other Harris Teeter near by at Parkside, this one also has a good selection of Groceries. However, there are couple of things that I buy regularly but this particular branch does not always stock such as Instant Cream of Wheat, Foster Farms buffalo chicken and George Killian's Irish Red beer.

I do all my grocery shopping here and come by a few times a week. Good selection and quality but can't deal with the teenagers who hang out out front anymore. There always seems to be a crowd who comes in, yells and horseplays, then just stand around in front of the entrance. Makes it harder to get in and out of the doors and is dangerous bc they will wander into the street with no warning
