December 5, 2023. We visited Dollar Tree, and WOW! It was a mess. The aisles were clogged with unstocked merchandise. I'm guessing that the handicapped parking sign out front is some kid of cruel joke because there is no way anyone in a wheelchair could navigate those nightmarish aisles. I saw exactly ONE employee. He was polite despite the fact that he looked like he had everything on his shoulders. I truly felt sorry for him. What would he do if there was a family emergency, and he had to leave immediately? I don't think Dollar Tree cares about its customers or it employees. Also, not all the products cost a dollar or $1.25. Some items cost much more so be careful because they have some tricky pricing. This store needs to hire more people and give that guy a big raise!

Rude employees so just prepare yourself before you go in. Get your "wooo-saaa" on, and rub your ear lobes. But I love this store. It has great seasonal items and art supplies.

Why do only schedule one cashier at every location? You are constantly raising your prices,and yet there is always one person performing this task.This would explain you 75% turn over ratio.You want my advice ? OK since you insist, my advice would be to Sell Family Dollar ASAP!!

I don’t know why dollar tree hires this kind of employees . The girl over here keeps on gossiping with the co workers and keep ignoring the customers. I’ve waited for 10mins long and I’m running late to my work, but this woman keeps on gossiping after ringing up single product , this is ridiculous and un acceptable, this is not the way to treat the customers.

This is our first visit to this store. Compared to all other stores closeby. This one seemed to have stocked up with all different items. We pretty much like the store

I normally love dollar trees, but this store is a disaster. The shelves are never stocked, boxes and carts of products are scattered around the floors of the store, and there are open food packages spilled in the candy/snack aisle that have been there for weeks. It looks like a bomb went off, the store is a disorganized mess. It takes them literally months to restock popular items. There is usually only 1 person working there and they are always painfully slow checking people out and rude.

DO NOT GO HERE. Staff are blatantly and unnecessarily rude to customers, as if they are purposefully trying to get people to leave. I asked for balloons and they wouldn’t even check to see if the one on the wall was available. I don’t need this place. It’s also difficult to even get into the parking lot.Instead, go to the one in Beaver Creek Commons just 10 minutes down the road. It’s always well stocked and the staff there are nice and helpful.

I don't even know why I try. One register and at least a dozen people in line, literally from the register to the back freezer section! Aisles crammed with restocking carts and boxes, just a mess. And, if there's a manager on duty they should be helping the one cashier with the customers in line.

I give this new SM alot of credit they our trying their hardest to get the store in shape. It's not easy if you're not full staffed.I've seen worst. With a full staff.

Very very rude staff. Asked to use the bathroom because it was an emergency. They said I need to ask the manager for the key. Don’t know if it was the manager or not but she said they can’t use it for customers even when I said it was an emergency. So I had an accident and messed all over myself. A key should be sufficient to let customers use the bathroom. But to not even allow them to use, the key is insensitive and cruel. Thank you for letting me experience some thing so humiliating.

Worst customer experience ever. Was in the store 02/24/23 at 4:30 pm today and attempting to check out. Line was long and female cashier refused to service my husband and I because we had been looking at our phones while we waited in the line. She aggressively tried to embarrass us in front of the other customers and starting picking customers behind us in line, letting everyone know “she wouldn’t be servicing us”. Husband and I were very confused as we hadn’t been talking on the phone or anything rude. Ultimately left the store entirely without buying anything and will never be shopping at dollar tree again. This store really needs to fire this employee.

This store is always short staffed. My last visit, the cashier was very rude. I greeted her with a good morning, how are you? She responded seconds later with “I’m good”. She never gave me my total- i just inserted my card. She handed me my receipt and that was all. (NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS)In the past when I have shopped there, she is always on her phone in front of customers. And she always has a rude demeanor. I will take my business somewhere else.

At around 4:25pm on February 24 my wife and I were attempting to check out with some small snack items after a tough work day. We were standing next in line behind another customer who was being helped with some balloons, which were taking awhile, so a line backed up behind us. Another female cashier opened up her line and called the two customers behind us into hers, which was strange but could have been understandable since we had our items on the belt already. When the balloons were still taking a lot of time we shifted to the new cashier’s line. As she finished up with the customer in front of us, she started yelling towards us, saying that she didn’t call us over previously due to me playing on my phone while I waited (I was texting on my phone but clearly not causing any disruptions or rudeness, as the balloons were still in process throughout this whole ordeal). At this point, I was feeling pretty disrespected but I had an important text message to respond to from a coworker so I started responding, since we were not being serviced yet. A couple moments later, the cashier calls for the customer behind us to cut ahead, letting everyone know that she will not be checking us out and was refusing to serve us. For emphasis, we were not using our devices while being serviced and were quiet and respectful the whole time. Disrespected and confused more than anything, we left without buying our items since it appeared she would never check us out and we will not be returning. Hopefully it was just a bad day and she has better days ahead :)

My wife and I stopped by this Dollar Tree store today and were pleasantly surprised! The store is under new management and you can feel the great energy when you walk in!! The new manager, Tim, and his assistant, Cynthia, have made it worth your while to stop in and check things out!!

Horrible and incredibly rude customer service. Asked if they had an item at the back of the store, because I was interested in getting a couple of that item. Asked the manager of the store, her response “if it’s back there I’m not going to check”, my answer “why not? I’m interested in getting it”. She proceeded to yelled at me “I just told you I’m not going back there”. I said thank you and began to walk away, she kept yelling “everything is recorded”. As a customer I felt that as a threat. Why are you even working if you have 0 interest in helping the CUSTOMER. If I could set 0 stars I would.

the managers and employees are sick.. me and my family were just shopping and basically my brother and his bestfriend were messing with the balloons, the employee asked to not be over there and the rest of the time, they were with my mom and her best friend. then they made an announcement saying “ages under 15 must stay with their parent” while they were with their parents. me and my sister went to checkout while my mom was still shopping and they were talking bad about them infront of us. my mom and them were checking out and they were videoing my mom and them without there consent. we went out and the one employee came out and had a buggie and took a picture of our license plate and kept taking pictures of us. we did absolutely nothing wrong !!!! AND I AM 15 YEARS OLD AND THEY TOOK A PICTURE OF MEE !!!! the manager & employee need to be checked and need their job lost asap ! 😂

The most arrogant “manager” I have ever deal with. I ask to blow 19 balloons and she just blow up! Pick from what we have already blown. I said I need different ones. She said I have to wait cause we are busy. Do not touch anything cameras watching you. That’s what she said.Heeellooo! I came to buy some staff and thats how you treat customers? She ask me to leave “her” store cause I have a bad attitude. Here is a free tip for ya - don’t like you job just change it. Lots of places hiring. But not sure some one silly enough to hire you.Feel sorry for that old lady at register handling customers at her age and no help from colleagues.

The store was a mess. Bathrooms closed and cartons of products sitting all over but no one working with them. I love Dollar Tree but will avoid this one. Cashers were nice.

Very rude staff, manager and other employees as well. First, restrooms were locked only for employees. We had to take kids somewhere else. And then, very very rude staff. They shouted on customers in front of us, multiple times. Who does that?

I am a customer and visited store #5286 in Cary, NC 03/22. A cashier was attempting to do a refund for a customer and needed help from a manager. The manager Ashley came over and started yelling at this cashier telling her she doesn't know why she has to keep showing her this ( this cashier is new & still learning obviously ). The cashier apologized and told her she just needed help w/a "Flip Flop" - I'm assuming a return. Manager Ashley proceeds to yell at her telling her she doesn't know why it takes her so long to learn and do her job. That she ( Ashley ) can do an entire store flip flop in an hour. Ashley continues to ramble on as there is a line of people on 2 different registers. I got off that line and went to another. Customers were all shocked that she spoke to her employee that way. The cashier was starting to cry. Ashley storms away and grabs her cell phone then storms out of the store, proceeds to the parking lot to smoke a cigarette and has someone on speaker phone talking about the incident and cursing. This person should NOT work with the general public whatsoever. She should work in a jail or something. Very very rude and demeaning. I will not be back at this store as long as Ashley is employed there. How she is still employed there is beyond me. She is a very poor example of a manager and very poor example of Dollar Tree.

For me, this is an excellent dollar tree. Great service, great selection. The items are, you know, dollar store stuff. But some things are ok like that. Of all the dollar trees this one is my goto.

There was only 1 very slow cashier working with a line of 10 customers. It was very hot in the store and we were all sweating while wearing our masks. The store used to be well stocked, clean and organized. The staff were always friendly. I don’t know what has happened but it had gone downhill.

Very sadly I am writing this….The cashier in this store is very very rude lady out there…she has no manners how to talk to customers...has an unpleasant frowning face.this is my 2nd time experience in this store…I wouldn’t recommend anybody interacting with this lady.
