The staff and doctor we saw were very professional and thorough in understanding our medical history as new clients from out of state and answering any questions we had. I was able to email medical records ahead of time, which the doctor reviewed before our appointment. The facility is clean, and they also have day care services. Prices are reasonable and they have some Saturday hours.

Alexa was very thorough and helpful with intake questions. She took the time to answer some questions my daughter had for an FFA class. She relayed our questions to Dr. Peace and he answered them during the visit. Both were very kind and patient with our cat.

The staff and doctors at Carpenter are really amazing. I’m always impressed by their warmth, friendliness and responsiveness! We usually see Dr. Peace (who we love!!). Today my pup was injured and Carpenter was able to get me in within a hour to see Dr. Turner. She was so sweet and gentle with my timid rescue pup. I appreciated her clear and thorough explanations of the issue and treatment options. She also gave me great tips on prevention, since this is the second time my dog has had this issue, and after-care tips. She did a great job of picking up quickly on how to leverage my dog’s personality to be able to provide treatment less stressfully. I appreciate knowing that tomorrow I’ll be getting a phone call to check on my dog. Thank you to Dr. Turner and all for taking such great care of my pup!!

Carpenter Animal Hospital and Pet Inn is amazing. My dog goes to Day Care 1 day a week and loves it. The staff is amazing and they love my dog and treat him so well. They are all so super sweet to him. I have boarded him here as well and they are wonderful. The Veterinarians are wonderful as well. Highly recommend Carpenter Animal Hospital for day care, boarding and veterinarian care!

My 2 yr old terrier mix, Layla, was in a lot of pain, but we were unable to figure out where. I was beside myself because i couldn't comfort or hold her. She's been my constant companion for a little over a year now. My shadow. My husband was able to get her a same day appointment. My son came with me because he was also very worried about her. I cannot thank you all enough for the amazing care she received. The amount of time spent discussing her diagnosis and our options for treatment was much appreciated. She's feeling 10x better. Back to her sweet spunky self! Now that we know about her condition, we know exactly what to do the next time she has a flare up. Thank you for all you do!

CAH is the best! The owner, Dr Hodges, is obviously a very special person because this clinic is run beautifully. You can tell that everyone who works there is happy and truly cares.Dr Terrell has been our vet for several years and words can’t express how thankful we are that she is a part of our lives. She puts her all into caring for our cats and cried alongside of us when we lost two of our babies.The front desk is always welcoming…shout out to Annie who always greets us with a smile and does everything she can to make visits enjoyable.Although we do not have dogs, it is always fun to watch their groomer Kim greet her regulars. Her love of animals is always present at the clinic.Being a crazy cat mom of 6 cats means I am a regular at the clinic and I can’t recommend CAH enough! :)

I have been bringing my dog here for years. The staff is very friendly and my dog has his favorites. Unfortunately over the past couple of years, customer service has declined. My dog needed vaccinations and other things that were not provided during his multiple night boarding stay. Even though staff brought the due dates to my attention and asked my permission to give the vaccinations a couple days early. Supposedly there were notes in the system.This is not the first time. No one called to follow up on the matter the first time. However, I do expect a follow up this time since I'm leaving this review. Due to the lack of detail and internal communication, I can no longer recommend this vet to others.

I have never had a vet be so patient and kind to my cat. Finding a good vet has always proved a challenge because not many people are willing to be patient towards a cat that takes her time getting used to people. However, Dr. Peace was such a sweetheart! He talked in a soothing voice, offered treats, and didn't push the limits if my cat was clearly not having it. He made recommendations that made sense, and didn't push us to pay extra for services that we honestly didn't need. We will be coming back here and I highly recommend bringing your pets here.

My pup and I have been going here for 3+ years. He had a bad injury and infection fromDoggy day camp (somewhere else) and they fixed him right up. Good as new! I live all the way in Durham and come to Cary just for Carpenter Animal Hospital. The team communicate’s really well on the phone/via email and always have fast service. Plus they are really nice. Recommended 100% if you are looking for a local vet.

I love this vet practice so very much. I drive 40 minutes from Durham, past 1,000 other vets, just to take my dogs to Carpenter. The vets and all the support staff are so kind and compassionate. I truly appreciate the check up call the day after a sick visit. I also appreciate them not looking at me like a crazy person when I cry over bad news. They also have a lot of the machines on sight that you get referred to expensive specialty hospitals for, like X-rays and ultrasound. One of my dogs was a Covid pup and has a serious fear of the vet. They are always so kind and patient with her. I can see her starting to relax when we go to the vet.

This veterinarians office have been so amazing to work with. Yesterday I had to rush my cat, Hendrix, in because he was sick and I didn’t know what was wrong. He ate an entire shoestring causing him pain and discomfort. Their office was able to perform emergency surgery and took amazing care of his afterwards. He’s is now home, finally ate something small, and resting while high on his kitty pain meds. I couldn’t recommend you go to anyone else!! The staff is fantastic and their Veterinarians are so knowledgeable. Thank you to you all for taking care of my furbabies, both Hendrix and Woodstock.

Services are a bit on the expensive side, but the service is very good and vets are very thorough. Unfortunately, grooming services have to be booked 6+ months in advance and are very expensive (more than services in the area that come to your house), but the boarding facilities are exceptional and they take very good care of pets while boarding at their facilities.

I just recently got a puppy and took him to his first visit at Carpenter Animal Hospital and Pet Inn. All staff members were super friendly and knowledgable. They have taken such great care of my baby Benji during his first visit. I also love the follow up emails concerning Benji's wellbeing. I am so glad to have found a place that truly cares about his health.

Great veterinarians and the staff/ vet assistants are all so nice. Very responsive whenever I have a question or concern. I don’t ever feel like I’m being pushed into treatments not needed which I’ve felt like at past vet offices. I moved from another state and visit this place for the first time and I have to say that this place is 10 times better than my dog's previous vet. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The assistant and the vet that saw my dog were very professionals and answered all my family's questions. The vet say down with my dog (92 lbs. dog) and started playing with him while giving him his injections. We'll definitely keep bringing our dog to this vet always. Thanks for making us so comfortable.
