Somewhat upscale grocery store owned by Kroger. Large selection offering multiple brands for a given product. Yes there is a Starbucks inside as well as a pharmacy. Be sure to get your HT discount card or use your Kroger card as either works.HT is well lit and clean as well as well staffed. Good luck picking up anything that isn't at least $5 but I guess that is the world we live in. Perhaps if the government would stop diluting the value of greenbacks but that is a conversation for a different time.I just filled my gas tank and got 20¢ per gallon off my total which while not great is better than a sharp stick in the eye. If price is your top priority perhaps the dollar store then Food Lion and get the rest @HT.If you're an Amazon Prime member you can often save up to half or ore with subscribe and save and not have to tote them home yourself.HT offers HT Plus subscription shopping and delivery service if you're unable or unwilling to self tote.Happy Shopping!

Store is clean, products are neatly placed, quantity and variety of products is good. Prices are on line. Deli and breads are not up to a high enough quality. The staff is pleasant and good at their jobs.

Piss poor attitude from the meat department, everytime I go in its the same oversized guy with the patchy beard. You would think if the customer that act politely you would expect the employee would as well. Not in this guy worlds, rushes me to pick my item in the seafood section and goes "what else"? Me asking my wife but he already walked away in the back back of the building. So I was like well I guess nevermind. I'll take my service somewhere else than. Lost a customer

Was craving a good sub this evening and went to Harris Teeter at Mill Creek Village. Jeremiah took our order for an Italian Sub and was very knowledgeable on the breads and ingredients. When asked what he suggests for bread, he recommended the cheese, which was bomb. He made one of the best subs I have ever had while being very outgoing and bringing his personality to the experience. Do yourself a favor and get in to this HT for a dynamite sub of your choice! :-)

Normally, this would be common sense and you wouldn’t have to train somebody on this. Anyway, I was eating my salad today and noticed there was no dressing with it so I bought dressing. As I’m poking through almost getting to the bottom what’s that I see? Oh, it’s my salad dressing at the bottom of the salad. Seems pretty obvious that would be something that would sit on top of the salad.

Kombucha much? Great selection of almost everything. I was next up in the checkout line and some nice person offered to ring me up through self-checkout. I took her up on it and seem to be missing the hot fried chicken. Three star dink for the Wal-Mart "help".*Rapid update*I had my very nice wife handle the phone call about the missing chicken. HT is delivering it now. Add two stars for making it almost right.

Great deals and wonderful customer service. The best grocery store in the area. It's a pleasure to shop there! Always have incredible deals and people that care about their customers. It can't get much better! Discounts on gas are super.

Check out experience is declining. The push for self checkout is mind boggling. What happened to customer service? I spent more time helping out others check out than myself. Not one check out line was open yet two people standing at the business office talking rather than helping others. I hope this was just a bad day. I refuse to shop at other stores yet pay slightly higher prices because of CS. If this is the new norm I will be choosing the best of the worst an pay less for product.

Good management. Wanted some freshly piped cannolis, but the bakery person who usually does that was gone for the day. A manager showed one of the staff how to do it & my granddaughter was happy. Checkout clecks are very pleasant. Customer service is always ready to help. The store is clean & the meat department smells fresh. Special thanks to Shy in the deli department for a job well done.

The grocery store people and products were great, but the gas pumps weren't working and the staff there said they were waiting for multiple cars to try to get gas to see if they had a problem before they try to put a sign up or fix it. I object to doing Quality Assurance work for a vendor too lazy to check their own product or service.

Went there today and normally I would give 5 stars, not today.There was a big box of watermelons outside but only about 5 melons in the box, no way was I able to reach one all the way in the bottom and get it out. When I went inside I asked a man in produce if there were any inside and he took me over to where they were supposed to be, but the box was empty, he said he’d get some in a few minutes, i finished picking up what I needed and went back to produce, the empty box was gone and no watermelons and he had gone back to his display. I just got frustrated and went to the register and checked out.

So we were painting a house down the road from this Harris teeter stopped in for a bite for lunch. Wow! What a huge store. It didn't know which way to go so we need directions to choose Starbucks, pizza for lunch, grills to cook menu items or special of the day. Hot lunch bar and cooked whole chicken. Picked up a few snacks and that was it for me. Lots of cashiers and a lot of hustle and bustle but look like everybody kept it. Moving. Store was new and very clean.

Love shopping here. Staff is always helpful. Self check out is an awesome option especially when your in a hurry. But the best part of the store is the hand made sushi The guys that make it are very talented, the sushi is always great. The whole store is always clean and they have great fresh produce.

What a disappointing grocery store. Looks and charges like a Publix but the customer service is horrific. You can never get anyone to help you and items rarely ever ring up at the sales price. I refuse to shop here anymore because this store is one of the most depressing grocery stores I have been to. I feel terrible for the people that have to work here every day with this poor management.

Store has Lots of great Bargain Buys! After Shop a Very Helpful *Harris Teeter* Staff Member Rang up my Groceries in Self Check Out (The Main Registers were Closed!) Then He went outside with me, put everything in my SUV! Thank you so much! PS Sorry, was late in Day, had Pain Issues and I Forgot take Photos of Beautiful Flowers and great Veggies & Fruits, also Fabulous Easter Displays at Front of Store and by the Last Register, Lots of Adorable Stuffed Animals & Easter Gifts!

I think that if Harris Teeter is open late, they should provide at least one available check out instead of shutting them all down. It is aggravating to do self check out when you're purchasing a cart full of groceries at 9pm.

Normally buy my steaks and other meats from here when they are on sale. Never received anything bad. Prices on other items can be more expensive than places like Food Lion but the quality of their fresh items is better.

For my husband’s retirement, I ordered a full sheet cake from the Harris Teeter Bakery with the assistance of Virginia. Not only did she do a great job of decorating, the cake was flavorful and moist. The night the cake was served, I had more than a handful of people informing me how good the cake was. I highly recommend the bakery at Harris Teeter.

HT is great, they almost always have everything you need. The staff is always friendly. However, three stars have been given due to the overwhelming amount of staff that's always in the way either restocking or out completing the online orders. It has continually gotten worse and worse to now the staff looks at you like you're in their way... completely backwards we are the customers!

I love shopping at this Harris Teeter mainly because of the deli section. Julie is ALWAYS there to help me and I very much appreciate her eagerness to help, her product knowledge and her product suggestions that have never failed me. Kudos Julie at Harris Teeter in Carthage!!

Over priced store that even with sale prices is higher than my local store. If you want unusual items or need just one or two things quickly, then this is the place to go, but not for regular, day-to-day shopping. When you walk in the front door, there is an occasional fishy smell from the seafood section. Staff is always very friendly.
