I have visited this store multiple times before doing this review. This store is exceptionally clean, well stocked, and has outstanding customer service. All refrigerators, open coolers, and freezers were operating in acceptable ranges, I could not find a single perishable item beyond its expiration date. All staff were knowledgeable on product placement within the store. I asked multiple employees from cashiers to the meat cutters where the whip cream was located because it's not with the milk as in most stores. They all knew where this was located. Prices were across the board lower on name brand products as well as store brand products. I came at different times of the day and this store was always consistent with quality, customer service, and cleanliness. Even the parking lot was clean with no stray carts. If you do not live near this store it is well worth the drive to come here. Also cashier 0220 was outstanding and went the extra mile for me !

It's a very nice Food Lion, probably the nicest I have seen. They were polishing, waxing, cleaning the floors (which required blocking off large areas at a time) when the store was busy which wasn't ideal but I am sure they had limited time slots to choose from and probably happens just a few times a year. The staff is always friendly. I can't stress enough the feel of the store. I forgot I was in a Food Lion for a minute. Nice job.

Nice, friendly, clean, helpful, peaceful store.Sale prices are clearly marked & easy to read. Aisles are not cluttered. They bag your cold items separately from regular shelf items. Never had a price scan wrong, unlike other chains I have encountered. Like they say: You can always count on FOODLION! :-)

I like shopping here on Saturday nights but if the rude, condescending cashier is working I turn around and go somewhere else.She wasn't around for a couple of months and it was pleasantly nice...then she returned.

I come here mostly for the produce which is always top-notch. That may be why some advertised items are unavailable when I shop. A lot of FL's prices rival HT.

The only reason this place gets any stars is because of the availability of certain items. 9 out of 10 times I'm not even acknowledged at check-out. Or I have to wait 5 minutes for the guy on his phone to realize I'm ready to check-out. Cashier 0201 was too busy talking about his birthday tattoo to even say hello, thank you, goodbye... not a single word. The only reason I still come to this store is because of the items I can purchase here. Be prepared to be looked over and not acknowledged when shopping at this store!

Great staff. Fantastic deals, well stocked, we save money all the time by shopping here and enjoying MVP deals by getting free membership. Meats are fresh, bakery has delicious choices. Great beer and wine selection very extensive choices. You won't have a hard time finding dinner and your wallet will be happier too.

I purchased 7 items at Food Lion. Took my receipt and went to Harris Teeter to compare prices. FL was considerably cheaper on 6 items and just 10 cents more on the 7th item.

Great staff, the general manager is awesome. It is the only food lion I've ever been to that feels like a small town general store. They even stock local high school apparel. It's cheaper than Harris Teeter down the street, and it definitely gives teenagers a good opportunity for their first job. It closes at night, so definitely check that out.

One employee had his face half covered and pulled his mask down when responding to my question about where something was located. But the store was nice and clean, and very friendly cashiers. Good variety of fresh vegetables.

It is a very clean and well managed store. The GM is very competent and is well respected by his staff. The store is organized and customers are treated in a friendly and helpful manner. This our favourite grocery in our area.

I do not like going here at all. I only come to this food lion because it's so close to where I live. The cashiers and the floor managers are incredibly unfriendly. Numerous times I have checked out and the cashiers have not even spoken one word to me. Also, cashiers and even floor managers will often just continue their conversations with eachother instead of engaging with the customer. It is so cliquey among employees in food lions, but at this location it is very bad. I avoid going here. It's the younger cashiers in college and high school that I have had problems with nearly every time I've shopped here.

Was able to buy most everything I needed in prep for the winter storm tomorrow. Some shelves were empty but staff was very nice and helpful.
