Dined on the leafy patio on a delightful evening. Excellent and reasonably priced wine list. Many options are gluten free, including the dessert menu, which is unusual. I highly recommend the arugula and beet salad. My husband had the hangar steak and I had the short rib. Both absolutely scrumptious. The duck leg special sounded delicious, but, unfortunately, they had sold out by the time we arrived. We split the lemon olive oil drizzle cake for dessert, a perfect ending to a fine meal. Our server was new, but charming and helpful. We will return soon.

Was disappointed they no longer have steak frites but was offered some hanger steak which was too complicated and did not taste as well. So the best item on menu was the scallops.Rustic restaurant with wide range of wines, service was excellent but food not up to expectations for that price point, only the scallops live up to our high expectations.

Went here for a sweet valentines day dinner and wasn't disappointed.Multiple vegetarian and vegan options. They have a large collection of wines and many recommended their Höpler.Would definitely recommend making a reservation beforehand. We were stuck in traffic on I-40 and were almost 20 min late but they were really sweet to accommodate us with zero wait time.It is an expensive place to dine at but it's okay to splurge once in a while. :)Vegetarian options: Their fried turnips and pearl onions were amazing. We also tried their Coca without goat cheese (added parmesan instead) and vegan sweet potato risotto! Def recommend all three dishes.

Expensive for small portions however the food was great. The cost of a few items was high likely because it was Valentine's day. There were few good vegan and vegetarian options but not a lot. Drinks and desserts were amazing and would definitely recommend it.Vegetarian options: Fried Turnips and onions were amazing. There were a few vegetarian and vegan options but not a lot so you might run out of dishes after your 1st or 2nd visit

Was happy with every part of the meal. The brussel app was an excellent start, my cocktail was quite good and the grilled fish was delicious. The brownie dessert was quite good as well. Overall, an excellent meal in an attractive environment. Next time we want to sit at the patio under the lights.Parking: Small lot out front.

This place is delicious! The menu is clearly marked with gluten free and nut free options. They have a separate fryer for those who can’t be exposed to cross contamination. The menu had a lot of options and definitely more of a menu for foodies. We had the steak frites and scallops and shared plates. They also brought out some gluten free crackers they make in house and Wow- we loved them. We finished off the night with the budino and hands down it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great meal!

I recently enjoyed two nights at Glasshalffull. The service is excellent, food is delicious and the restaurant has a great drink/wine selection.Sitting outside is so pleasant. It’s quiet and you’re able to relax and enjoy your time without being rushed out. Inside gets a bit louder. I recommend making reservations ahead of time.As and FYI: Good vegetarian options but few vegan options.

2022: we still enjoy dining here - we probably have lunch here more often than dinner. Wonderful food and ambiance.2019: This is probably our favorite dinner spot in Carrboro. Service and food is consistently amazing. It’s where we go to give ourselves a treat - even if it’s a midweek dinner.

The food was good. Plenty of seating. A bit pricey, but if you're only eating here once in a while, I'd say it's worth it. The staff was friendly. The place was clean.

Decided to check out Glasshalfull after hearing about it on social media. It is a cool and chill spot sporting tons of tables, a wrap around bar, and a massive wine selection.I checked out their menu ahead of time and decided to go for their mini burgers that had bacon and truffle aoili. It was just the right amount of food! I ate just one, but I will be devouring the other in like an hour as I am a grazer! To drink I got a bottle of their cremant rose. Nice hint of strawberries, peaches, and rose. It was very yummy and actually paired really well the burgers. Normally I do not get a bottle of wine just for me at a restaurant, but they were half off today and I decided to go for it! Such a great recommendation by the waitress. I love that they are able to recork the bottle, so you can take it home. Therefore there is no pressure to finish it!Around it are several other local businesses to check out. Carrboro's downtown very much reminds me of Pittsboro as it is very quaint and cute.Definitely would come back as it is very chill and has such great vibes!

Great atmosphere. Great service. Food not so much-but could have been my choice. My husband had scallops and said they were good. I got the steak frites and the steak was not a good cut of meat. I would not order it again.

Menu prices are set to provide all workers with a living wage, so while tipping (3-5%) is welcomed and appreciated, it is not expected. The food is delicious. The servings are well-proportioned.The service is stellar. For an evening's fine dining experience, the prices are fair. There is adequate free parking in their adjacent private lot.

my mom was gifted a hundred dollar certificate that we decided to use for her birthday dinner, having never been here before. now going into it we did know it was going to be pricey but we thought it would be good food so whatever. however - when the mac and cheese i ordered was SIXTEEN DOLLARS i did not think that there was only going like an inch of food in the bottom of the container. in what world is that even an option? it’s literally pasta and cheese, pull yourselves together and please be for real.

Absolutely delicious with great service. Great for a special occasion. We got the asparagus and arugula salad for a starter and steak frites and duck for entrees. Enjoyed every bite of each dish. Mondays are half price bottles of wine. Would definitely recommend the outside dining area.

Food was very good as was the service. The photos show black bean fritters, fritto misto, and desserts of budino and chocolate layer cake. The place can be a bit noisy making it harder to hear normal conversations.

First time there.. Besides the food being very good and options, we also enjoyed cocktails. Staff was friendly and attentive. What I really liked was their fair wage system. They pay their team a livable wage and typing is not necessary ( unless you just wanted to show appreciation and leave 2%-4%). This is the European system and I think it's great. We certainly will be back again.

What a find!A wonderful wine bar, an oasis in a sea of mediocre student venues. Fantastic service and an awesome atmosphere, a harmony of human interaction which is a rarity in this smartphone generation we live in. The food is sublime, cocktails and wine selection likewise. We particularly enjoyed the after dinner coffee and the service which included a contrasting cup and saucer that really extenuated the earthy tones and flavor of the beans.

Food was excellent! We enjoyed a cheese plate, Brussels sprouts, sweet potato risotto, striped bass, scallops, burger sliders and an amazing dark chocolate budino for dessert. The service was also great and we were so impressed that the restaurant pays their staff a living wage. All of the dishes were delicious! We will be coming back to support this restaurant!Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options- cheese plate, sweet potato risotto and other options.
