I ventured out to try this place via the pretty drive on Troy Candor Highway. I really liked this restaurant. I tried a couple tacos with rice and beans. It gave me a sense that this place has good food.

Paid 42 dollars for 12 chicken tacos I promise I won't do that again the tacos didn't even have nothing on em really and they definitely could of put more chicken on them fr don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon could have gotten more at taco bell

The food is awesome. The service and pricing, however, is sketchy at best. They don’t tell you that your order will include a gratuity, even if you tip anyway. They also charge card service fees if you use a card. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but card fees should be included in the cost of doing business, and shouldn’t be passed on to customers— just increase the price of food if you can’t afford to let customers use a card terminal.The food at casa in Biscoe isn’t quite as good, but it’s reliable, the pricing is transparent, and the service is almost always perfect.

Best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to, I want to move to Candor so I can go every day. Delicious food and drinks and lovely staff. If you are anywhere near Candor then make time to go to this restaurant and if you are no where near Candor then make the time to get near Candor so you can go to this restaurant.

We stumbled across this place on a road trip. Searched restaurants in the area and chose this one because of the good rating. We were not disapointed. The food is quite authentic and delicious. Prices were fair and the service was great. Wish it was closer to where I live!

We stopped here on the way home from the beach and we’re very pleasantly surprised. Such good Mexican food from a small town. Big portions and affordable. Corn tortillas were fresh made.

First time trying this place. They brought out the tortilla chips and salsa pretty quick. Took our drink water. The diet drink came in a bottle. Had the taquitos, they were average. I'd come back here but I'd try something different

Normally I love to eat here but was disappointed tonight. Ordered the ACP with veggies 2 plates out of 3 had no rice. Need to double check orders before bagging.

We went to the peach festival and it was extremely underwhelming so we came here for dinner. Yummy!!! The chilie relleno was delicious!! Ground beef and cheese with a yummy red sauce. I had the veggie burrito with a cheese sauce on top that was huge and also yummy!! Lengua taco was also yummy. Then we went next door and bought some flan and cake and they too were yummy. Can’t wait to go back!

Ah it sucks to say it but it has really fallen downhill. The food is not as good as it used to be but the prices sure have gone higher than ever. Went from my favorite place to eat, to an avoid at all cost. Might try them again in a few months to see if they have returned to how they used to be.

The food used to be amazing. I don't know if the cooks are in a hurry now or what but my ACP was extremely salty. I didn't know who was my waitress bc one girl came first then didn't come back so the other girl took my order. Other times I've been here everything goes well idk what it was about this one Sunday that things just didn't go well. My daughter didn't like her steak quesadilla either. Mind of a 6 yr first thing she looks for is the cheese and she had to ask me where it was bc there was hardly any in there. The cheese dip was delicious and their Horchat is really good.

Every single time that we have visited this restaurant we have ALWAYS been impressed with the quality of their entrees. They have the best Horchata and their tacos are to die for! The prices are very reasonable.

The best Mexican food my husband and I have ever eaten. My husband said the El Costendo was the best shrimp and vegetable dish he has ever eaten. Who would think that this little gem restaurant is in the small town of Candor. Thank goodness it is only 25 miles from our home on Lake Tillery.
