This Ace Hardware has excellent customer service! I shop here frequently, and I am always greeted and helped by friendly, knowledgeable staff. This visit was no different. They also have a great selection and some cool local products. Ace is definitely the place!

I personally don't like to be bombarded by employees as soon as I walk in the door. I typically don't ask for help because I like to know where things are by locating them myself. If I say I don't want help please don't follow me around. It's uncomfortable and makes me feel like you think I am a criminal. Also, every employee doesn't need to ask me if I need help. It's kind of creepy when you can't go down an aisle without being asked if you need help constantly.

I had a wonderful shopping experience at Ace Hardware store. The staff was exceptionally helpful, always wearing welcoming smiles. They went out of their way to assist me with my needs, making the trip all the more pleasant.One delightful surprise was the popcorn they offered, which brought a big smile to my daughter's face. It's the little touches like these that make a visit memorable. I'm genuinely pleased with the service and look forward to returning for all my hardware needs. Ace Hardware has certainly won my loyalty!

I only buy sale items. They took away military discounts. I drive past them to other hardware stores that recognize the military. Nice staff. Sad.

The team at ACE Candler truly earns, the helpful hardware folks. I frequently go in and always get above and beyond support for projects. As an expecting new mother to be, they also cared about me shopping for stain and wanted to make sure I didn't do a project unsafe for me. Final win: they always have yummy popcorn! Truly- why go to any other hardware store??

Let me start by saying that I work as a store manager at a local store in Waynesville and this is how I hope people see us. Every single time I have visited this store employees immediately asked if I need assistance I love love love this store!! I can’t say the same for Home Depot or Lowe’s I think Ace has set the standard in customer service and I want to shout it to the world! Thank you so much for making me feel like I matter!! Employees are very pleasant, but return policy for defective product is not customer friendly. I had to pay $5 additional because item was now not on sale. I will buy my tools from Amazon and Home Depot going forward. She had to call the district Manager to get a simple approval on a $34 purchase that had a life time warranty

I have been a loyal Ace Hardware customer in the many locations in which my work took throughout my adult life. Although always pleased with Ace, my satisfaction reached an entirely new level when shopping at the Ace in Enka-Candler. Zach, the Store Manager, truly embodies all the qualities of exceptional customer service—a consummate professional in every respect. He kindly resolved a difficult problem that I was struggling with, and he did so with extreme competence and genuine concern for my needs. Indeed, there aren’t enough superlatives to describe Zach, as he treated me as family in every sense of that word. My profession is ethics, and I’ve studied human behavioral dynamics for several decades. If everyone went the extra mile to be as kind and helpful as Zach did, I wouldn’t have a gray hair on my head. Stated succinctly, if you want a trip to the hardware store to be a truly satisfying experience, visit Zach and his team at Ace in Enka-Candler.

So happy to have this hardware store so near my home! In this time of low customer service, this little store shines! In my visit today, I was helped by three different staff! They always know where to point you for a product that you need, and often have good advice on projects as well. I love that they will work on small engines and have parts if you want to do the work yourself. The selection of garden supplies is impressive. I truly appreciate this Ace location.

Anytime I am looking for a part or something that Lowe's, Home Depot, or O'Reilly Auto Parts (fuses) don't have this place has it. The staff are very professional and helpful when needing help! Even though I have an Ace Hardware closer to my house. I drive further just to come to this location. They also have filters for my Air Handler at an affordable price too and other places they would want more for the same item.

I love having this Ace Hardware nearby. Everyone there bends over backwards to help out, whether that's finding a product or answering a question, or just asking how you are. The people really do make this one of the friendliest stores around. There's a great selection here too, and it's much more convenient than going to Lowe's or Home Depot, with competitive pricing.

Bought 2 _30lbs propane tanks. For 47.60 both. If you take a 30lb to refill it is 24.99 each. So should have been 97.60 plus tax. I stead . they charged 86+ for each fill of a new tank that I brought from them. Really need to redo customer service. Got screwed for 130 bucks . anyway

I like it because it's smaller than the big Box stores, Assistance is available much quicker than the big buck stores. Unless it's a great sale process are usually a little higher at Ace.

Ace Hardware in Enka-Candler, located a short distance off the I40 interchange, is a great store to shop for household items. For those not aware, Ace started in 1924. It is now the largest retail cooperative. Perhaps because Ace, founded as a cooperative, has service standards that are a significant step up from the principles exhibited by stores such as Loews and Home Depot. Ace Hardware truly understands what the meaning of (service) is. I recently needed to visit a local Home Depot store for a household product that they stocked. In talking to one of the department managers, he made me aware that department manger’s now run up to 3 departments in the store. Staff services now follow the Amazon model of business. Large retail operations are now only interested in bottom-line profits. It is no wonder why you are unable to find a product or get any assistance whatsoever.Ace is my go-to store for all sorts of odds and ends, such as screws, miscellaneous hardware, cleaning products, and gardening products, etc. Ace does not stock every product line that your local large warehouse chains offer. They do have a little of everything you need. Prices are generally a little higher than your large box retailer, but Ace does hold monthly sales and offers discounts tied to their courtesy card. As an added advantage, Ace check-out times are generally quick and painless.I will continue to shop at Ace for many of my personal needs. I can highly recommend their store to other customers who have nerve shopped there before. I think you will come away from Ace as a happy and satisfied customer.

My partner and I just bought a house and we have been going to this Ace about once a week in the past month for supplies. The staff at this Ace Hardware have been so kind and helpful on our journey to make our house feel like a home. Unlike some of the bigger hardware stores, Ace seems to have staff that know what they're talking about too. I highly recommend this store.
