This is my local neighborhood supermarket. It has many fine features, including a pharmacy, bakery, deli, Starbucks, floral, etc. Pretty much everything you need on an everyday shopping trip. I wanted to comment on the deli cafe. The cafe offers home style meals with very generous portions for $6! They also have Asian food, gelato, fresh made sub sandwiches, soups, salad bar, etc. This week I had turkey, mashed potatoes & cobbler while my husband had pulled pork. All of it was excellent & the portions were so large that each of us had leftovers enough for two more meals. Great idea to eat on your way in so you don’t impulse buy too much while you shop hungry.

This review is for the INGLES MARKET in Candler, NC.At first glance it appears to be brandnew or at least it is kept in perfect shape.I have visited a couple other locations but this one deserves its own review.It has all the departments you would expect, perhaps somewhat larger than most with extra wide isles.Because of this it doesn't seem overly busy despite a pretty full parking lot. Lots of check outs open, no waiting at this time.Cleanliness immediately is noticeable . Well stocked and attractively arranged.I was surprised to see a separate beer room with its own entrance.Meats, deli, produce, dairy....all looks fresh and appealing.A dining area and a Starbucks complete this perfect set up.There is ♿️ plenty of parking for all and even a big Ingles has station. If you're looking for something you'll find it here.All in all 5 stars and worth a visit.

Got a wrap from the deli. It was pretty good, and it and a bottle of water were like 7 bucks so you can't beat that. Parking is a little tight given the other shops and gas station. Store was clean, well lit and otherwise pleasant. Staff were polite and efficient, all be it a little odd but that won't stop me from going back. May stop there in AM for coffee from Starbucks.

2/17/24 8:36- often I see this early morning in the parking lot. First time, it still being dark out, I tripped over this and took a nasty spill. The driver shouldn't leave his lift gate down while his vehicle is unattended. I understand the drivers reasoning (it prevents other vehicles from blocking his rear) but safety cones would be just as effective and wouldn't trip people the hell up.

This is our home neighborhood Ingle's Market. It is where we go when we do our home grocery shopping and it is easy to use and well-stocked. They have a good staff and it is an easy in-and-out for us from where we live.

The lights are too bright. No music. There isn't that much organic food. The sushi made me very sick. I was throwing up and dizzy. I've never got this while eating sushi from any other place.

The fever dream of grocery stores. This store is usually a nightmare but today takes the cake. Currently in my 2nd very long line after a broken self checkout kiosk and a really awkward moment with the “attendant”.

Great place extremely nice people !!Deka is a lady at the deli,food bar that is extremely sweet !!! She really cares about people !! Please give her a raise or whatever she's an angel sent from heaven !!! 😁☺️😎 Great place

Great store. Very clean and not just once you walk in but all over the store. The bakery is not easy getting lunch from however they do have pretty good food. I give it 5 stars because the store and the employees are very nice and straightforward.

This is my "go to" local store, but what is going on? There are "regulars" young men that go in to this Ingles to steal alcoholic drinks. It is so blatant and obvious. Tell a manager... "nothing we can do."Today, a bakery employee was hacking it up in the food court. When she got done, she went right back to work in the bakery area. Leaning over the prep table, on her cell phone, rubbing her nose right next to another employee that was prepping a cake. Hands washed? Nope! Pretty disgusting!Why are so many people parking directly in front of the store? Is this the entitled parking area? It's hazardous for people going in and out of the store. They can't be seen.

We loved the store. It had the most wonderful selections. We would have given it 5 stars, but the way y'all run the deli counter is weird. We ordered 1 lb of turkey meat and were told there were 3 orders before us. Huh? So we wandered around for 20 minutes, came back, and still waited another 5 or 10 before it was ready. Never seen it done like that before.

This is definitely one the nicest Ingles I have ever visited. Their produce and deli departments were fresh, organized and reasonably priced. Our cashier was very friendly and helpful, the store was exceptionally clean as well. Overall, a pleasant grocery stop for our trip to Western NC.

It is what it is. I go often because of the proximity to my house. I do not recommend the Asian food from the hot food bar. They add so much soy sauce that their meats are much too dark in color. More soy does not equate to more Asian. I have watched horrified at some making the sushi rolls. They apparently use a rolling pin which turns the sushi into a gooey paste that sticks to your teeth and is unappetizing.The produce on some days are great but be careful, half of the time you have to pick through in attempt to find good ones. Many things seem to be out of stock frequently and the prices of eggs fluctuate tremendously. I feel like over the years the selection of many items have decreased.On the plus side there are two employees in the deli that I absolutely love and cut the meats and cheeses I need perfectly! They are efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.

Slow deli service when there were not many ppl in line, but other than that, it's a store. well kept. pretty well stocked. It's best to watch for sales and some of the standard purchases have increased in price, just keep an eye on that.

Seems like a decent store, but I'm confused on the fact that they price things differently than other Ingles locations. I stopped for cigarettes and was charged almost 10.00 for a pack that I bought yesterday for 7.50. I checked a few other locations and this is the only Ingles charging 9.12 for Camels. There hasn't even been a price hike recently. Seems they are trying to create their own sin tax.

Thomas in the deli is quite angry today. Always a rough experience in the deli but at least they’re usually nice. Slow as all get out but nice. Please provide customer service training and provide your team with enough people to work behind the counter.

Poor management. Horrible pay. If you need a job to pass the time, go for it. But I’d look elsewhere. You have drunk people coming in for a shift and management just lets it slide cause it’s a body to fill the position, but they don’t work. They’re too drunk. Then you got these stoner kids. Come in smelling like a pound. And weed isn’t bad your right but when your working around other people your a liability. Management does not care. You are replaceable. Night shift is even worse. But if you work with a mama er woman in the day starting with the letter C, run. This company is a total joke.

Walked in to get food at the hot bar. Lady looks at me says someone will be right with me and all 6 people just keep ignoring me. As a contractor I have very limited free time. Don't want to stand there wasting it. I went another place with a drive thru. Waste of time driving it. That staff there has been there a long time, they know better.

Even when I think I’ve checked every items expiration date, I still end up finding something I’ve purchased at Ingles has expired months from the date I purchased it. More often than not, there are items throughout the store that are moldy or rotten. Although their prices are affordable, I’m constantly having to make sure the food isn’t expired. I recently purchased some Thai Indian curry that was 3 years expired. It makes me wonder if they’re buying it expired in bulk and selling it at a large profit. Most stores sell food that is soon to expire on sales racks. Ingles is shameless at selling very old food.

Above and beyond customer service experience!I had ordered a drive up pickup, and I am 7 months pregnant. I ended up severely dehydrated and Teresa helped add much needed Gatorade/Pedialyte to my grocery order last minute (what the doctor ordered). Thanks to her, I avoided an ER visit, and early delivery. I truly could not be more grateful and Ingles at Sandhill road has earned a lifelong customer. We just moved to the area 6 weeks ago, and I will never forget this experience. Can't wait to bring baby girl in to come shop at our FRIENDLY, NEIGHBORHOOD Ingles.

I went into this store and was blown away! This is by far the nicest grocery store I have ever seen in 70 years. Selection, layout, lighting and staff, and I intentionally spoke with several. I went back just to show my wife this beautiful store. Ingles, please bring one like this to CAYCE SC!

I gave ingles 3 stars due to the terrible produce and fruits. Freezing produce first spoils it. When everythings moldy, remove it do t place unmoldy food behind it. Prices with the card is helpful but still outrageous, but everywhere seems to be now....

The managers are young unhelpful and a couple are very rude. I was in line and the cashier was being very rude because my card wouldn't work but come to find out she was doing something wrong and she was the bookkeeper. It just seems to me if you are going to be working with the public and you are a manager of any kind regardless of your age you should be respectful to your elders and customers. Now as a employee of Ingles I really liked the job in the meat department and the guys who work there are very knowledgeable and just a great group of people and the manager chuck was very understanding and patient when I was having health issues. I'm not working there anymore because of health issues but I would rate the job 10 in the meat department and I would still be there if I could. The managers on the other hand never got a name tag or got me in the system to even sign in using the time clock. I went to get my last check day before Christmas Eve and was told after waiting 30 minutes that it's going to be January 16 before I get paid due to what exactly I'm still not clear. Ingles is the store I grew up in and customer service and employees use to be number 1 concern for them but obviously not anymore.
