What a delightful stay we had at this adorable motel! The rooms were clean and included plenty of towels for a family of four. The property is adorably decorated and the owners are continuing to update the outside with family-friendly furniture. The motel is an easy 100 yards to the beach and does not require crossing any streets. We were very comfortable letting our 6 and 8 year old kids walk to the beach with their friends and sans parents. Really cool, laid back vibe. Short walk or two minute drive to lots of restaurants. We'll be back! Thank you!

When you drive up the building is not what one expects. Once in the room it was clean and bright. The bed was clean and comfortable. Beaches are close by, you can walk if you want. It is located very close to nearly everything in Buxton. Very very convenient location. Management is very responsive. When you contact them. My room code wouldn’t work and I received a call very shortly correct on this issue.

Great, affordable laid back place to stay in BUxton... I have sensitve allergies especailly in hotels but had no issues with the room. Ac blew cold , the room was very clean and the bed / conforter was like the one you sleep on at home. Owners were extremely hospitable. Its not the Ritz hotel and Buxton isn't Palm Beach, but if you want to get away from civilazation in a beautiful, rugged beach town, staying at the Tower Circle in Buxton will not dissapoint. Went to buxton on a surf trip and will stay there again when I go back. Cosidering the cost/value of the room I gave Tower Circle all 5 stars.

Wonderful experience with the new owners of the Tower Circle Motel! The location is fantastic and close to the beach, food, amenities and anything you need in Buxton!The rooms were so cozy and perfect for the getaway experience of OBX! The perfect place to rest after a great time enjoying everything this small island has to offer! Will be staying again in the near future!Rooms: The cozy rooms were the best part, a place to enjoy the best of each other together!Nearby activities: Hikes, fishing, and surfing were all easily available nearby here.Walkability: So close to the beach and dining! Easily walkable by anyone!Food & drinks: Close to all breakfast, lunch and dinner options! Drinks were available at almost every establishment nearby.Noteworthy details: The sense of community and level of expertise was next level in getting to speak with the owners.

Room was nicely renovated and very comfortable especially for the price. I think I have found my go-to place to stay at Hatteras. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating especially Cliff the maintenance guy. He went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He is also a great, down to earth, shirt off his back kind of person. Cannot wait to get back down there again.

Very nice place to stay. We drove all the way from Texas to visit the Cape Hatteras. Tower Circle Motel was the perfect fit for my family. We had adjoining rooms 6 and 7 which worked out perfect for extended family that was vacationing with us. We arrived on Sunday and Nancy was waiting for us upon arrival. The rooms were clean, and the space fit our needs. We made full use of the kitchen areas . My family enjoyed the nice people that befriended us during our stay.The beach was just a short walk. We will be back next summer.

I highly recommend this place! The outside is not much to look at, but the rooms are quite nice. All the things that are important, to me at least, are very nice. The room is very clean, the shower has great pressure and the towels are big and fluffy! Everything works, all the lights have working bulbs, I have no complaints. It's 1 block from the beach and close to good shopping.

Clean, comfortable, and affordable - We've been going to Hatteras for decades, usually for weeklong vacations with the family, but occasionally for weekend getaways at other motels. This is by far the best deal we've ever had for a weekend. The hostess was cheerful and accommodating, and our stay was great good fun.The motel is a couple of streets from the beach, so it's a very short walk to watch the sunrise. We stayed in an efficiency with sink, stove, and refrigerator, which saved us some money on meals. All in all, a great stay, and we'll be going back.

Aug. 11 thru Aug. 18, my husband and I stayed at the Tower Circle Motel. We were very happy staying there. It was perfect for us! Gayle and Earl were great people! The room had everything we needed. The lighthouse was a bonus too, just a hop, skip, and jump away! Free access to the Avon Pier was a big bonus for us also! I would also like to thank Gayle for getting us clean towels anytime we needed them. We will be going to stay with them anytime we visit the Outer Banks from now on! Thanks again for a great time.

Clean, newly remodeled bathrooms and) rooms looked like they had been just painted.Air conditioner in the effeciency was noisy but produced plenty of cool air. The chairs in the room we stayed in could have used some upholstery cleaner.No food, crumbs, trash or bugs in the rooms we used.The owner, who I only talked to on the phone couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating. She gets 5 stars as does the employee and her friend who were so willing to help us in every way and were fun to visit with.No doubt at all, I recommend Tower Circle.

(July 2015) First time staying here, previously at another place close by, made reservations here back in May, got lucky and got a room, the room in question was clean, nice, not sure about the art work inside, I would think paintings of local places/landmarks would be more "beach like" instead of a painting of Cuba.the walk to the beach is nice and brief. Our room was a bit small for 3 people but we managed it still, liked the full kitchen, used it most days. We are coming back next summer, we booked a slightly larger room, hopefully it will due for our needs.

Wasn't expecting much, pleasantly surprised. This is a small motel on the beach. I made day before reservations after most places in the area were full. Plus I had dogs so I took what I could get. The outside doesn't look like much but when I opened our room I was surprised. The walls have fresh, lovely blue paint, the bedding and flooring was new and the bathroom was recently renovated and very modern. Bonus: 3 minute walk to the beach. This is where I will be staying when I come back up to Hatteras.

Quaint place to stay. Efficiency room has all you need and staff is super friendly. Beach is at the end of the back road. 5 minute walk max! You can see the Cape Hatteras Light House from your door and at night it's beacon is beautiful. Drive to the end of Old Light House Road to get pictures of it from afar. Unless you're upscale fancy, I highly recommend this place.

Hi Gayle and Earl! Hi Beth and Cliff! Thanks for a great stay! This was our fourth year staying in Buxton! The first time we stayed at the Tower Circle Motel, and have been there ever since! Gayle and Earl are great people and I'm sad they are selling the motel, but I also understand why. We always get a kitchenette when we stay there. It works for me and my husband. We were there from June 27th, till July 8th. Hopefully, we will be back in the fall for Red Drum fishing! Save #3 for us Gayle. God bless you, and thank you for everything!!!

We were coming to Outer Banks for Labor Day weekend, but storm happened to be there. We were able to cancel one of the days and for the second day we got an efficency room. It was very nice and clean. Staff was very nice. Good location close to convenience store. Free parking and Wi-Fi. Price was very reasonable as we did not book it much ahead if time. We enjoyed our stay and will consider this location if we come back to Outer Banks.

A quaint little motel with 10 rooms divided into queen sized rooms and queen sized efficiencies. We stayed in the queen size room that included a microwave, LED flat screened TV, coffee pot and medium fridge. They are still renovating some of the rooms. The pros- rooms are newly renovated. The motel is literally 60 or 70 yards from a secluded section of the beach, near a gas station, and several restaurants and cafes right off Highway 12. The Hatteras Lighthouse a short drive away. One big con- really crappy wi-fi service! So frustrating! Its like the dark ages of dial-up! Unfortunately, spotty cell service and wi-fi seem to affect most of the area in the south from Buxton to Ocracroke. I didn't receive a clear cut answer as to why, but nonetheless it sucks if you have to be wired like I do! GET the wifi situation fixed!! The staff are really helpful and attentive! A huge plus! No maid service. That was a minor issue for us. My GF was pleased with this place. The high season price is $95 a night. Thorough research finds this price one of the lowest on Hatteras Island. If the wifi and cell service can be smoothed out, the Tower Circle is a rough gem waiting to shine! Stay here and tell Merrill Keith sent you!

I came to this hotel with my friends and we had a RUDE owner that stated I need to read the sign on the doors of the 2 rooms we rented. In the beginning of my check in time the young lady at the desk knew we were going fishing on Sunday and stated we come back later to pick up our items from the room after the trip. And then the PART owner then approached my brother Saturday and said that you need to pay now and instead of tomorrow. Even after having my credit card on file. He mentioned that we would be back after the trip to pay. THEN at this point she said I will have to charge you for another day. At that point I knew that with people like her in that locations that survives on tourist is going to FAIL. You (PART OWNER) should really take some customer service classes. I have told the 2500 people that I have on FB that all fish in Hatteras to stay away from your motel. You should not be in the hotel or motel business.

My husband and brother have stayed at Tower Circle Motel numerous times over the years. ( I guess that sums it up. We keep going back)It is clean and the owners were very friendly. It is just a few steps from the Atlantic ocean.I look forward to returning.
