I had a pleasant shopping experience at the Butner location. It was a Saturday and the store was clean and it was easy to find what I needed. The lady at the register greeted us when we walked in and when I was ready to check out there were a few customers in front of us. But the lady at the register was very quick. My purchase went smoothly and all my digital coupons rang up right. The lady's name was Mary and she was very helpful and pleasant. I am in customer service and it is nice to have someone who makes you feel good. Thank you Mary

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO ANOTHER DOLLAR GENERAL CUZ THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST STORE IN THE AREA . I HAVE BEEN BY THERE 4 OR 5 TIMES AND THEY DON'T EVER HAVE WHAT I NEEDWHO EVER ORDERS THE STOCK ARE. NOT DOING THERE JOB . ITS GOT TO BE POOR MANAGEMENT.

Helpful, friendly employees and fellow customers, more product selection than expected. Although crowded in areas, store set up well enough to navigate and find things. Good signage. Clean store, especially considering the low number of employees. Need to work on quality of fresh items in grocery area.

The General Dollar store is an excellent community partner and does a great job supporting the Butner Church Council food pantry. Mary Stearns is to be commented for her generosity and support of the community.

They just remodeled and it now has a small produce section abs lots of cold case, space. Fairly well kept, clean. Inventory isn't always fully stocked, but is ok.

S-L-O-W- service. Long line at the checkout. One register open. Expect to wait. Carry a snack or a magazine to read. Maybe a chair to sit in. It is simply disgusting to have to be in line especially this day and age with Covid in the air. Dollar General; you should be ashamed!!

The renovation is nice, everything is cleaner and more organized, AND they have bathrooms now. They have fresh produce but it's very expensive, pretty typical of places like that.

I bought some frozen salmon for $4.50. Hmmm added lemon pepper, sazon, Italian season, to each slice. In a mixing bowl I added bell pepper all colors cut up, cilantro, onion, dash lemon pepper, lime juice and a smidgen of peppericka. Olive oil my pan and cooked the salmon in both sides added my veggies and man o man it was good. Can you tell I am a foodie 🍽🍽🍽 next time I will take pics!! Tey the salmon at Dollar General in frozen section. Oh they had Dove creams for $2. Try that too

This Dollar General is always clean. Kept pretty well stocked on inventory. The staff are always friendly and Professional.

I would not rate 1 star but had too! Went in there today and couldn’t even get up and down the aisles, couldn’t find anything I was looking for. Ended up in Creedmoor. They need to be shut down looks like a bomb went off in there!
