As far as groceries stores go, this one is very mediocre. Which, honestly, is to be expected. It’s not very clean and the selection is lacking but it’s not as busy as ingles. That’s the only reason I go there. But I’ve noticed some of the employees there are really working hard to make the experience worse. They won’t stop talking to each other long enough to complete a transaction, it’s very annoying but not the end of the world. If you go in the evening though you can expect some really unprofessional behavior from a couple of the older women that work there. Ingles may have insanely high prices but at least I don’t have to worry about having an uncomfortable experience there, since their employees know how to act.

Ok, but still owned by the only other grocery store in town. They have the market cornered, so don't expect the lowest prices. Go to aldi in weaverville if you want the lowest prices.

This is a discount grocery store providing its customers with very bargain basement prices on the pretty well rounded stock of primarily canned and packaged goods. I would rate the cleanliness overall as ‘needing improvement’. The proprietor of this market must understand that in discount environments like this, repeat business is essential but ‘new’ business is what will make its P&L maximize profit. There were no outdated products that I encountered during my shopping, but I noticed more dinged, dented, and torn packaging than I was comfortable with...I also noticed that information regarding various levels of contamination with damaged tin cans of food- Although not required by the health department in this state- was not available. I believe that I would have something posted were this my store as a symbol of my integrity. Overall, this store was what I expected. Had it been more than I expected- I might have visited again. I think a letter grade resting somewhere in the mid to lower range of the ‘C’ scale would be appropriate.

I enjoy my experience in this small town store. Every time. I.e. it goes by uneventful. Best part is that the front office comes out constantly to help with crowded lines. Much better than other more name recognition based stores...ingles. im talking about ingles. The customer service at ingles sux. Ita good at sav-mor. Thats the post people.

Lot's of no maskers during pandemic, even when it was mandatory, not even the managers wanted to follow the rules. You would see them pull it off as soon as they thought no one was watching them. Also had a manager here be super rude to me before.

I like the selection at this store. Not very clean though. Prices are very high most more than at Ingles. Most of the employees are very friendly and fast at checking out, and very helpful.

Great prices and most stuff is from ingles( if you don't want to deal with busy ingles). Great 1.00 selections. Employees aren't really friendly or helpful, but it's worth going.

I shop here sometimes. I really like "the bins" there with random marked down item. They sell discounted foods and laundry detergent by the gallon. They have a fairly nice produce section but a weak beer selection.The Mexican products section is what really shines here. They have extensive selections of all sorts of Mexican stuff and brands. I think this is neat.Also meat is sold here, including specific cuts of meat that may be less common than in more mainstream grocers. For example, chicken and pig feet, tripe, cow hearts and tongues.

I like the burnsville sav mor . It has all the name brands products. Nice selection of meats and produce. All at lower prices the the more popular store . It's especially nice during the pandemic because majority of there customers wear masks and follow the rules unlike the more popular stores. I have been able to get products that aren't available in the popular stores like bread flour , hand sanitizer, paper towels and toilet paper. To save on the grocery bill I always go sav mor first.

This store is always clean and well organized, and they have the same meat as Ingles. Also you can get in and out very easy and fast. I like it a lot!

Sav-mor is basically Ingles re-wrapped. The prices are a little lower but the selection isn't as great as well. Still you can save a little money by going here, but not a whole lot and sometimes items are even more expensive than they would be at the Ingles that's nearby. You have to pay very close attention to the prices here.

One of the nicest Sav Mors I've ever been in. This is a discount grocery store owned and operated by Ingles markets. They have better prices due to lower overhead.

While it's supposed to be a discounted version of Ingles, some of their prices are higher than the actual Ingles 500 yds up the street. (I've seen the pricing issue at the Asheville location, too.)

They have a pretty good selection of Mexican food. The beef is generally more on the lower quality end. Staff is not as friendly as Publix.
