I have been going here since I was a little kid and I love it! Good "truly" local place to go. They have everything from gas to candles to candy. The guys that work in there are so nice, polite and helpful! Always in a good and friendly mood no matter what time of day you go in there or how busy they are. One of the ladies gets a little cranky and grumpy sometimes, but you gotta understand how many people visit here on a daily basis. Who knows, maybe some of the customers are the reason she gets grumpy. Go here and check it all out. You'll love it! And be nice to these folks.

Want you to give your guns to them so they can mark up high but they want to give you peanuts! Go to Coopers Trading post if you are serious about selling used guns which have never been fired. Prices Creek General Store lost a valuable customer and I write this because we(my whole family-wife and sons) have bought guns, ammo, clothing and safes from here.

Great store with just about everything you need plus amazing BBQ sandwiches! I recommend pickles and slaw on the BBQ sandwich! I would add a picture but I ate it too fast!

I love the variety of items that this store has available to shop for. However, when we stopped there on our most recent trip, the bathroom looked like the one in the movie "Desperado"...... other than that it was fine.

Clothing sold as new seemed to be either "Factory Seconds" , returns or cheap Chinese knockoffs. (Those were the only items at a "reasonable" price.) Sizes and styles were all mixed up.I was recommended Price's Creek General Store for their clothing, and was extremely disappointed that I drove way out of my way for wasted trip. I will never patronize this place.Oh, and these people are selling unnecessarily cruel animal traps. You know, the snap-locking jaw traps that clamp on animals legs, resulting in a slow and horrific death due to dehydration.Unacceptable.

My home place store I lived up cane river years ago and I just had to get my lunch there weekly. The ladies and gentlemen are so polite and make great sandwiches and have everything a person needs from milk to feed for cows, clothing ,boots and the cutest girl camouflage.

Old school general store at its best! The breakfast sandwiches are great. I bought some waders here for work as well. Great firearm selection but I will say some of their prices are above average and some were extremely fair. Difficult to predict but I'm a huge fan of this store. They are efficient, friendly, and offer what the locals need.

Love this place, always good prices on durable clothes and other outdoor/indoor needs. $11 for a child's Carhartt shirt is really a good price for that brand!! I will definitely keep going back. The gun selection isn't bad either 😉

This store and ALL THE AMAZING PEOPLE WHO RUN IT AND WORK THERE are the most welcoming and caring and make this establishment make you feel like it did when you got to go to the general store with your papaw as a youngin' to get a candy and a coke. Listen and find out from the ol' timers all the goings on of the community, and becuz you'd be there til dinner time, the lady behind the counter makes you the best bologna cheese and tomato sandwich EVER!All that said, they carry any kind of fire arm, ammo, boots/shoes, country and western clothing and some of the cutest home decor and much much more.If you're ever out and about in our homely little town of Burnsville, in Yancey county of western NC, make sure and stop in Prices creek general store for the best mater 'samich, and check out any and all the great merchandise they have to offer!

I love this store, I'm from Tennessee and my son's and all their friends love this store. This is the only place I can find caps that have a shallow head fit, they have a great selection of cloths, boots, caps/hats, knives, etc. These little family owned stores are truly the best, they have great and extremely sought after merchandise. I will continue to shop and bring new customers here. Good ol" country friendly staff and I would definitely recommend this store.

Was told this was the place to go for guns and ammo. Went there for the first time and found two rifles to buy and a few other things. Unfortunately they were out of other items I was looking for. One of the rifles was a bolt action so I asked if it had a magazine and I was told there would be one in the box. When I got home there was not one so I called the store and was told to come back with the gun. When I returned I ended up dealing with Max the owner who gave me a hard time about the issue and then told me I could not return the rifle even though there are signs in the store indicating returns on guns are permitted if they have not been fired. I returned an item I purchased that was a great buy just because of the treatment I received. Originally when I was purchasing my items I had planned to come back an spend much more money but now I am willing to go somewhere else an spend more on items to receive better customer service and not be talked to by the owner the way I was. Yes, he apologized to me before I left but he should have never even talked to me the way he did as I never even said anything out of line to him. Trust me, the people that know me will tell you that is out of character for me. I am sure you don't care and that is fine. Good luck to you.

This is my favorite general store! They really have just about everything! Gas, pet supplies, garden stuff, the best bbq sandwich $3 can buy, camping equipment, artillery, clothing, shoes, home decor, you name it, they have it and that's on top of the usual gas station fare. They also offer layaway! A gem from days gone by!
