Friendly and inviting people. Great place to hang out!The inside is clean with a really cool “basement bar” with retro furnishings and video games.There is a huge outdoor area with picnic tables and a stage for live music. We had the best gluten free pizza at Hog Hollow located inside the brewery.

Three years ago I loved this place. They sold the business and there went good service and food. You have to order at the bar then clean up your table when you are done. But they ask for a tip for what? Walking the food to you and never check back with you. You ask where are the water bowls for your pet. They say look for one. I did and could not find one. From behind the counter again she said you have to wait until one comes available. Customer beside me over heard and gave me his pups water bowl.I won’t be going back. $24 for nachos and a beer. Wish the owners knew what was going on.See ya

Really liked this place. The space is beautiful inside and out. A good selection of pretty tasty beers. Most of the food we had was great. The pizza was top notch and the jalapeno poppers (they do an interesting spin on these) were delicious. Wouldn't order the wings again. Not that they were bad, they just weren't that great... the skin was kind of flabby. Two of the three bartenders working last night were pretty grumpy but the third guy was great.

One of the best dining and drinking experiences I've had in the high country (born and raised just down the road I'm Spruce Pine). This place has everything; outdoor seating with string lights, picnic tables, and an outdoor stage, indoor seating on two levels with ample bar space, deck seating with screens to keep you warm, a fun shuffleboard and game area for kids, delicious 🍻🍺 beers and a 🍕 pizza shop inside with amazing house pies and delicious 🥗 salads. I recommend the Greek Chicken pizza and the Caesar salad. These pair well with their coffee blonde and Gingers Revenge.They also have takeaway cans and merchandise. They also boast ♿ handicap accessible 🅿️ parking, seating, and 🚻 restrooms.

This place is pretty much as awesome as it gets. The brewery is beautiful, the beer is top tier (the can art is incredible as well), the food is killer, the staff is friendly and helpful & they deserve some serious recognition. Having worked for a major brewery for a very long time, I feel like I’ve developed a sixth sense for greatness in the industry & this place is one of them. I’ll be back as much as I can! Special thanks to the brewers for hooking it up.

Great place to come with the family.The pizza is great, and the burgers are fresh and tasty.Great atmosphere as well on the balcony.I have never tried the beer, but I have no doubt it's just as good as the people who work here.

We decided since 1st time in North Carolina, and in this area, let's check it out. Sure glad we did, as was beautiful & relaxing. Food was 🤤🤤 and Beer Slushies, well 100% 🤤🤤 Only real complaint, and not even complaint, I LOVE sour beer, and so had watermelon gose, not what I expected. We will be back 🍻

What a delightful experience. This is definitely the crown jewel of the up & coming hidden gem that is downtown Burnsville NC. As soon as you enter, before sitting down, you browse the drink & food menu, then order & pay both at the bar. You take your drink with you, pick your own seat and your food is brought to you. The atmosphere is light & happy. In the 3 times I have been there while in town every single employee is welcoming, amiable & helpful..just glad to have you there. Home made pizza is their specialty & they are good at it. I always get the Herbalist personal size, one of the meatless selections, & it is always awesome. The draft beers are excellent quality with many interesting varieties to choose. This is a stop you'll never regret.

I have found my new favorite place to eat!Reason #1- Not only do they offer Gluten free pizza, buns, and beer- They taste like heaven. I have not had a delicious pizza since I was diagnosed with Celiacs Over 10 years ago. This pizza crust was soft, and looked just just my family’s regular pizza as far as loft and texture. But by far the taste was EXACTLY like the real deal gluten. I literally almost cried with joy. If I want pizza, I am absolutely going to get it here. If you are like me and have suffered gluten free cardboard pizzas for year, order two of them.I have made it a habit to order backup wings or salad with “gf pizza” so I don’t starve when the “pizza” is actually the bottom of the pizza box with sauce and cheese on it. Don’t worry about that here. Order two gluten free pizzas so you (might) have leftovers to take home like a normal person.Full disclosure I did order wood fired wings that were delicious, but they came home in a box. I didn’t need back up food!!The picture of the pizza is the GLUTEN FREE PIZZA!! If you are gluten free you will totally understand my excitement. It is fluffy and luscious!Reason #2 On Tap gluten free beer made on site!The cherry is almost a sour beer, but it’s sweet. Delicious. The Ginger was tasty, but not my favorite that I sampled ( you read that correctly, you can sample them!!! They are on tap and not bottled!) The beat was the coffee beer. It was not as dark as a stout, but had a rich full flavor. You can buy the growler container for $6 and fill it with beer to take home!!Reason #3 staffThe staff are very nice and knowledgeable about what they are selling and serving.Reason#4 LocationThe owners have put so much time and effort into the premises. It is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Plenty of outdoor seating, and indoor seating is available on 2 levels. From the top floor you can see into all 3 floors and the kitchen. The kitchen has a beautiful wood fired oven as a centerpiece. The heart of the kitchen is the cook that makes the gluten free crust-by hand- and runs the entire kitchen like a well oiled machine. Was in the area visiting and decided to pop in and see what the fuss was about. I thought the beer was very palatable with a variety for just about anyone. The establishment itself had plenty of parking and seating. With options to sit outside or inside with good hygiene practices of masks hand sanitizer throughout. They definitely made us feel well attended to without fear of being clustered in a small tap room. They’ve put some great infrastructure into this place with multiple outdoor decks and patios and a lawn area boasting a wood fire pit and wood burning chimney area. Well placed and well done decorating both in and outside. They also serve food by having the Hog Hollow pizza accompanying their handcrafted brews. The food was pretty good nothing extra special but worth adding to your visit when hunger strikes. Our party opted for the Hawaiian pizza and veggie (they even offer gluten free options for those inclined.) The outside is dog and kid friendly and easily available. All in all if you want a great place to relax kick back and have a few with friends and family this is a great spot to explore. Why not stop by and have a few and see for yourself.

The "Everything" pizza could have made the extra effort on topics. To be considered actually "everything" it should have had more. It's like a desert of cheese that has a sprinkle of "everything" possible passed over it onto an actual pizza WITH toppings. I mean $18 hard earned dollars should have been loaded.I'm giving it four stars because it was nice weather and we sat outside. It should have been a 2.5 star ...yawn. The weather's nice we'll try again Hopefully you read this and make the improvement. You certainly have an extra $16 in earnings to use on the next pizza topping

Great place and must visit when you are around the Burnsville area. Very friendly staff and great space both in door and out, and, dogs are allowed on ground level. They have a variety of tasty beer choices and fantastic food. Loved it so much we went both nights we were in town. Pizza, burgers, wings and nachos 🤤. We will definitely be stopping by whenever passing through.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Terrible experience. Waited an hour for the food to be brought out only for it to all be burnt. The nachos were awful, burnt chips and the cheese was only half melted. More plain chips on the plate than there were covered ones. Ive never had a worst nacho. The pizza was burnt to a crispy yet greasy and soggy enough for the toppings to slide off when picked up. Awful pizza. This was akin to a childs school lunch yet somehow exceedingly worse. May only be busy due to it seeming like the only restaurant in town. Did not like seating ourselves and then watching the waitresses run around like headless chickens looking for where we were sat. The only enjoyable part was the fountain drinks, yet somehow my cup was sopping wet, dented, and chewed up when I was given it to use.

Great discovery in Burnsville, NC. First, and foremost assuring socially distance atmosphere. Every table spaced nicely apart. Beers are nicely done, good variety for all palates and the food was delicious. Mushroom Swiss Burger, Chicken pita and the soft pretzels were fantastic especially with the brown ale cheese sauce. Service was spit on as well. Definitely recommend you stop and treat yourself!

I won’t bury the lede. The Oktoberfest beer is fantastic. Get it while it’s in season. This was a great spot to stop at after a family hike in the Pisgah. Good food, nice environment. And did I mention the Oktoberfest beer?

Stopped here while on a driving trip from Virginia to Arizona. Such a lively place. The grounds look like a picnic park. Kids are playing, families gathered and live music. The beer is the biggest attraction though. I had the Shady Grove Kölsch with my steak sandwich and the ginger lime agave beer with my apple cinnamon pizza. Would definitely do it again.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good parking, alot of outdoor space. I had the double IPA. It was good. Definitely would buy it next time we are back in town. We also had the spinach calzone, a sausage pizza and a barbeque pizza. All very good and fresh. We had a great visit and will be back.

Great food! Great beer! They have really ra iui sed the bar for eateries in Burnsville. I had a great IPA, nachos and lovely salad....but the pizza looked amazing too. Next time! So next time was chickpea burger and cheese stick! And of course great beer!

Wings and pizza are good. It often takes 30 to 40 min to get food on a busy night. But that's fine if you aren't in a hurry.
