First time Publix shopper today getting a few things. For a shopping trip my son and I had a good time. I let him drive one of the shopping cart cars which he loves and everyone working at Publix was so nice to us. We visited the bakery and a lovely woman working behind the counter quickly engaged with my son and even gave him a cookie. They have great choices for Crunchy baguettes that are soft on the inside baked in house, that's something rare here in NC. The bakery supplies the deli with the fresh bread on the rack to make their subs. They looked amazing btw with tons of choices, reminds me of the deli I worked in back in NJ. Got my son 2 donuts with sprinkles and my son said they were very good. On the way out we met Ronda at the front personal checkout. She engaged us with a smile and conversation with my son asking his name and told us she loved his smile. What a beautiful heart she has and this grocery store probably knows they are lucky to have her. She wasn't on her phone or standing far away, she was there to help and it made us feel welcome. She even offered my son crayons and a coloring sheet for the long ride home. Wish we had a Publix closer to us in VA. Thanks Publix we'll be back!

Upon entering the store, I could already see how clean the store is kept. Everything is organized and easily found. Deli personnel were attentive and extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. I would walk up and down isles, and whenever I was seen by a staff member, they would ask if there was anything I was looking for they could help me find. So when I say 5 star service, I mean it! Thank you, Publix, for the excellent service!

This was our first time in a Publix. Very clean. The deli was awesome. Several things to pick from and the choice we made was worth buying again. We will be back to check out the rest of the items they carry.

I ordered my grandmother's 94th birthday cake from here 2 days before her celebration because Sam's failed to answer the phone for 4 days in the bakery. One of the best decisions I ever made! I was able to customize the cake, it was ready on time, and they assisted me in getting the large cake in my car. Fantastic service and the cake was scrumptious. My grandmother and guests loved it.

Stopped by the deli to grab a quick bite!! Glad I did. Torrance had me smacking!!! Ingredients fresh. Help was excellent. Work area is clean. Service fast. Wait time be t to none. Torrance was very knowledge of the menu and offered great suggestions. I will be back.

My five stars goes to the deli clerk named Torrence! I want to thank him for his care and patience making my food! Highly appreciated. I was almost disappointed with the way another deli clerk was making my sandwich, but Torrence stepped in and took the initiative to help and do it the way I was asking. For that I am grateful. Again thank you and wonderful customer service from Torrance.

I ordered this Sprinkle cake for my granddaughter’s 6th birthday. It comes with 2 chocolate sprinkle sticks and I had on my order sheet to add 4 more. Called the day before pickup to make sure all 6 sprinkles sticks would be there with the cake. Picked up the cake the next day only 2 sprinkles sticks. Had to wait 10 minutes for a employee to bring 4 more and I was on a crunch time for the party. They need to check the order before it’s time for pick up. We enjoyed the cake

Ran in the store to grab the best fried Chicken around and you guys were completely out, Torrance took action and saved the day. I was super impressed with his customer service and truly grateful for him. Because of Torrance I give Publix a 5 Star review! Thanks again Torrance!

This is one of the nicest Publix I’ve ever set my foot in and eyes on. Everything is nicely stocked, neat with plenty of staff ready to assist. This was my first time visiting this store as they just opened the week prior. Elegant design overall but they paid attention to detail at this store. I always enjoy a shopping trip to Publix because I know shopping will be a pleasure. Now I just need to get some of those employees at my restaurant!Bakery had fresh warm bread available to purchase such a delight. Produce was fresh bright and plenty of options in stock. Shelves were lined and product pulled to the edge. Again very nice store one of the best I’ve ever been in and that’s from here to Florida!Can’t wait to stop back in again and have some of that hot deli food and dine in their upstairs dining area which is above the whole store. Slapping my seal of approval on this one! ☑️👍

I'm just learning the layout of this store and every employee was so kind and helpful when I needed assistance. I have mobility issues and an employee escorted me back to my car and returned the motorized shopping scooter I was using ...in the rain! 🌧️ I rate the customer service here as excellent! Each employee kept saying, "Please let us know if there is anything we can help you with or find." One gentleman took me right to the product I was seeking. The store is clean, well lit, organized, aesthetically pleasing, the produce was fresh, and there were some nice specialty items like cheeses and dips in the deli area. I don't usually write such a long review, but kudos to this store for making my shopping experience pleasurable. 😊

I recently ordered a birthday cake from the Publix Burlington bakery, and unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing. Despite placing the order well in advance and specifying a delivery time for two days later at 1 PM, the bakery failed to have the cake ready on time. When the delivery time arrived, they scrambled to put something together at the last minute instead of proactively communicating with me about the delay, even though they had my contact information on file.To make matters worse, the cake they delivered was subpar. It was tilting in one direction and barely held together, clearly not meeting the quality standards one would expect from Publix. Moreover, the cake did not use the promised buttercream as described in the cake's description.Overall, my experience with the bakery team, led by Ashley, was extremely disappointing. I had higher expectations from Publix, and this experience fell far short of them. I hope the bakery takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving their service and communication in the future.

This Publix is too legit to quit. Wonderful service, deli counter, and ready to go meal options. They have the best upstairs dining area, also good for coffee and study. Don't forget that Wednesday is $5 sushi day.

Very nice store! I love how bright it is! I went the second day they were open and they had lots of employees to help customers! I stopped by the bakery and inquired about some birthday cupcakes and the bakery manager was very helpful! The prices aren't the cheapest, but there are lots of options and I found items here that they don't sell anywhere else in the area!

Don't get me wrong, I love Publix and I will shop here again. However, I am giving it one star to highlight the horrible treatment I get every time I go there from Deli section people. First, there is usually nobody there to help me or if there is anyone, they ignore customers and just chat among themselves. Second, when they do come, they always look bored and unhappy to serve me, especially the two elderly ladies. They pretend not to hear me most times, and they roll their eyes when I ask them for multiple items. My husband too gets the same treatment when we go separately. Yet today, the short elderly lady was extremely disrespectful. I asked for potato wedges and I pointed out that some of them were small and burnt and that I would like her to give me the bigger ones in the front because they seemed softer. Instead, she only put the small ones, and tried to close the paper bag so I could not see. I told her that I can see what she did and that all the nice looking potato wedges were still in the tray, so I was sure that she only put the small, burnt ones. She started saying at first that she could not hear me. Then she said that none of them were burnt. Eventually, with this horrible attitude, replaced some of the wedges but left a considerable amount of burnt ones in the paper bag anyway. There was absolutely no kindness and customer courtesy on her part, so I left it that way. However, I think the attitude of the deli people needs to be addressed. I have shopped at numerous Publix stores as I used to live in FL. I have never seen such a horrible attitude from the deli people as I see here. Do better!

Great variety of products, although pricey. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The deli's food is always ample and fresh, especially the sushi. This Publix is always clean, a huge plus.

Great quality for the items that you are getting but like most specialty stores they can get away with overcharging on some items because the rest of the items are more traditional. I have seen it first Witness with my hand where one person would buy the Cherry Danish and practically we run out of the store for it and another person would be charged all of $5 for it. And their Pharmacy staff while I understand the businesses that they have to run they're very specific things and it almost always requires the manager approved for the pharmacy to have any of that done and she is not there every day and I don't understand why there's such a big deal because those are very old prescriptions and these are brand new prescriptions with brand new doctors so it shouldn't be an issue and I've had it filled at other pharmacies without any issue and not only that but they have to order my specific prescription because the one they have in stock there doesn't work as well so it's causing me to have to call around to like $4 million different pharmacies to see if what they have is in stock. This should be something that they could and would talk to the customer about or I don't know here's Common Sense make sure that enough is in stock when you know that this is an ongoing regular monthly refill rather than a one-off which I could understand why there would be missing files for stitches such as these and by files I mean missing people trying to find them.

Have you ever purchased from their Deli or bakery?? They family fried chicken dinner meals are good and plentiful. They do an excellent job on their custom cake orders. We ordered a Barbie cake for my cousins 8th birthday and everyone including the birthday girl was in awe!

Following a disappointing visit last week, I decided to give the deli another chance and was pleasantly surprised. The staff, John (or possibly Justin) and another gentleman whose name began with a 'C', were fantastic! They've turned me into a lifetime customer after I had almost given up on Publix's deli. It truly felt like a last shot, and they nailed it!

I went in this evening to get a sandwich from the deli. Despite it being almost closing time, Seth was very helpful and made me a wonderful sandwich, and did not mind at all having to dig around to find some of the ingredients that were packed away for the day. Publix is very lucky to have such a dedicated employee, I appreciate the dedicated customer service.

Ordered a cake and other items from the Bakery and was really thrown off by the tone I was spoken to by the staff. I really felt like we were inconvincing them. Its a shame because the food was delicious.The rest of the items I purchased were extremely overpriced but I paid for the convience of one stop shopping unfortunately.

The staff is always friendly and VERY helpful. The store is ALWAYS clean and well organized. I enjoy shopping here even though I do find it somewhat pricey overall. You can get some good deals here though. And their loyalty program is really nice. I love the birthday icecream/cake gift every year!

I am always pleased with my experiences at the Burlington Publix. Employees smile and interact with customers. In fact, one item I wanted to purchase was at another Publix across town. The grocery Manager, Lloyd, took his personal time to pick it up and deliver it back at the Burlington store for me to pick up. Thank you so much!

Publix may be friendly to weird people (live and let live...), but not so much to old folks who are seriously tripped up be a cart that seems set to lock the wheels when trying to cross over to the next parking lot with a car bearing down on them. I am a reasonably fit 74, but I do have foot and back issues that almost literally threw me to the pavement, and stained those parts in a reflexive effort to keep cart and self upright and out of the car's way. It seams there might be a geo-locating mechanism on the cart designed to prevent carts from "wandering", but I had no clue till it caught me totally off guard.Thanks (NOT!), Publix

The deli bar was awful and not clean. The workers were cross contaminating. Two workers acted as if it was too inconvenient to prepare the food properly.
