This is strictly for the online shopping experience!Today JR Cigar sent out a 30% discount code.I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was to see this!I was running around before heading to work (2nd shift), and said to myself I’ll make my purchase at break time which is 8pm.Lo and behold I look at the text message from JR Cigar again and realize the code for 30% off is only until 4:59pm today.Needless to say, I missed that opportunity and I am truly devastated!What would make a business think only of a few customers and not all of us!?If you intended to be cruel, you should’ve waited till April 1st!I feel really cheated at this point. Do better JR Cigar!

I found a cigar which I enjoyed from a local shop in my area. So, I decided to order the exact same cigar from jr cigar. I ordered over $100 worth of cigars only to discover that the cigars are dry, brittle, and taste terrible. Also, I bought 5 packs, and jr cigar won't accept returns for 5 packs. I will not buy from this company again!

Used to be some really nice guys that worked in here. Seem rather arrogant and snotty at this point. I have shopped here for years and wanted to exchange a box of unopened cigars from last month. They told me that due to COVID they could not exchange them. Although if I still had my original receipt they would be able to exchange them. Service is highly lacking

If you like cigars, this is the place. Their prices aren't as discounted as they were years ago when you could get six for the price of five and frankly, i think brands are putting out too many lines and asking too much for even average cigars. I wish they would put them in alphabetical order to make finding a brand easier. But, if you like cigars, you won't find a store with more of them than this place.

Went in to get a cigar for someone. Huge selection. Staff was very helpful as I know nothing about cigars. Didn't try to sell me the most expensive one but walked me through by asking what he likes. Huge selection of cigarettes as well with discounted prices.

Not many outlet prices what so ever. Same prices as all other B&Ms. I actually saw some higher prices. Large selection but the staff and customers are smoking cigarettes in the humidor!!!!! WHAT THE HELL!! For the love of everything, protect the cigars!!!!

Most Racist Place ive ever been too. I come here pretty frequently to stock my business with cigars, spend around $4-$5k each visit. Every time i go im never greeted, unlike the other patrons when they walk in. They rush to answer my questions amd half the time act like they did not hear me. Meanwhile you see them deal with fellow white people and they run around doing flips for them.Avoid this place if you’re not old and white, they could care less about your business. No wonder JR is struggling to stay open!The general managers name is Jim and he is the worst of them all. Extremely rude, racist and defensive when i called to leave a complaint. I practically had to fight him to stop talking over me and to give me the contact for his supervisor since he tried to say theres nobody above him.

Returning customer from years back. Totally dissatisfied. Bought 15 bundles (300 cigars) priced to move but were advertised on site as 6"X 60 and are at best 6"X 50. Called their 800# and lady said essentially they are what they are. This is the second online retailer that baits and switches that i have bought in last 60 days.

The only time I drove to GA from MD & driving back home so I seen this from the highway.. needed to get a few carton of cigarettes for my husband & I BUT OF COURSE THE GUY SAYS “WE CLOSE AT 5 TODAY” 😂 Y’ALL ARE CLOSING SIMPLY BECAUSE NOT 1 CUSTOMER IN THE PARKING LOT… & I CAN CLEARLY SEE WHY 🙄 OH WELL, JUST LOST AT LEAST A FEW HUNDRED BUCKS FROM MY SALE ALONE 🤷🏼‍♀️

TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! Actually my first time visiting the store, the associates were very helpful and knowledgeable, i was a little surprised that they lacked a few brands, but I see that as quality over quantity, very decent prices and great deals on boxes of cigars, I noticed they had a room to actually smoke me in as well, maybe I’ll have time to burn one with them next time, and the fact that they were more than willing to take a picture says a lot about servicing their customers, I will definitely stop in each time I’m in the area and time permits, overall really great spot i enjoyed the visit

I have never had a problem for 5 years of me shopping here. But was recently approached by a rude caucasian lady working at the cigar booth. I was demanded to show ID while I was browsing before I even went to the register to pay which was weird. It wasn’t even a nice approach, she looked angry at me and was a nasty attitude. I guess a 5 year old customer means nothing to her. Won’t be coming here anymore unfortunately

Nothing against the store. I really try to support local. You cannot compete with online pricing. The box of cigars that I wanted a buy is forty to fifty dollars cheaper online and that is with the tax and shipping. I am sure this is not the store's fault but government's meddling. Very sad for the future of businesses in America.

Well today is a day I never thought would come and that's giving JR's one star. I had no choice especially when I placed a $152 order on 11Jun and as of 22Jun it hasn't arrived. I'm patient and understanding, but when you can't update your customer via email or phone, that's a problem directly related to customer service. The really sad part is residing 30 minutes from JR's and still having an order not arrive without any explanation from JR's. Customer service is "KING" in my book so this one incident is definitely enough for me to search for another online cigar company to patronize when I don't shop locally.****Just received my "Cyber Monday" steal of a deal on the sample pack "Asylum Lockjaw 7." I purchased these tasty sticks online and had them shipped to my residence. Shipping was free and I utilized the First Responder discount to shave a little more off of my total cost (under $50 including NC sales tax). My wife brought me this same pack back from a shop in Swansboro called George's Cigar Shop and she paid a lot more. These sticks are perfect for the big ring smokers or those who want to try a big ring out. They burn pretty even with little to no touch up required and they hold a tight ash. My cigars arrived in a priority mail box with air packaging for protection. There was no shipping damage or moldy cigars. Each cigar arrived sealed in its own cellophane wrapper sealed in the Lockjaw 7 bag.Just received another great order from JR's... Big Game Touchdown Cigar Sampler. 22 premium stogies for $51 including shipping. USPS delivery to my front door.

Got angrily stared at as soon as I walked into the cigar shop by an elderly lady at the register. Was getting the death stare the whole 30min i was there by her. Don’t know what I did wrong and most likely won’t be shopping here anymore as she also gave me an attitude at the register. Thanks a lot.

Customer service is abysmal - nobody returns phone calls or emails. This is really disappointing as the products are really good.I'm not sure why nobody cares about basic customer service because it's a sure fire way to run a business into the ground

I bought my father in law 4 cigars for Father’s Day. I spent over $46, but he never received them. The tracking # said he received them, but he absolutely did not. I contacted this business and the post office, neither cared nor claimed responsibility. Just a big shrug from both. Then, a few weeks later, I got another email saying they’d been delivered yet again, but nothing was there. This company should use UPS not regular post. I’m out nearly $50 and my fil would have really liked to have received the cigars. He works so hard and it would have been a nice treat. It’s just sad.

This place was one of the weirdest places to walk into. The store is in a hidden area of Burlington. I lived right beside it but never knew until I was asked to do a mystery shop one day. The people are uncomfortable to talk to unless you are a Cigar specialist (which most aren't). I don't think the employees agree that some people like to go to new places and learn new things.
