I do not dread grocery shopping so much now that I have this Harris Teeter down the road. Was talking to my neighbor about the weird way I like this place - it's just got such a good vibe. (Neighbor asserts it's the lighting.) Some cashiers are really nice to chat with & there are decent fresh food/take-home dinner options. An oddly fun & cozy wine/beer bar in the middle of the store with - at times - live music on Thursday evenings. It's a downright party atmosphere & makes grocery shopping a whole lot more pleasant.

Great store with a wonderful selection of quality foods and beverages.Self checkout was a breeze and some prosciutto from the deli, with rigatoni and some other fresh vegetables made a wonderful meal at a great price!Very helpful staff and attention to detail everywhere.Harris Teeter goes above many other stores creating reserved parking spaces to make shopping easier.The parking lot can get very busy and the powered shopping carts are sometimes a little off but otherwise perfect.

Today after work I stopped to get some subs for our dinner tonight. This was my first time ever to get subs there. I have had some back problems so I just didn't want to cook after working 10 hours. Well as soon as I got up to the counter to order 4 subs the older lady with gray hair have me attitude right away. She was yelling at me and when I asked for olives she said she would have to go open and drain the can.. I told her no problem I wasn't in a hurry. She then started yelling that she was supposed to be getting off work and now she had to do this... After about 10 mins of her rude behavior I went and talked to the manager. He acted like he knew exactly who I was talking about.when I told him the lady in the sub area was yelling and taking a fit. He walked back there with me and you could hear her yelling. She didn't know he was coming up and she quickly changed her attitude. I was so upset... My anxiety went sky high... I will never go there again and order subs. I seriously hope she received some form of being delt with.

Store is always clean, nicely stocked, etc. Problem is higher prices for average items, especially in produce. Will also say we will no longer do the online ordering/pick up as the produce they choose is way past a usable condition. No doubt it's done to get rid of it or those selecting it are clueless. Twice in a row I have had to discard items within 1 day of receiving them. Granted I could return/complain, but not worth the trip there. Will source most items elsewhere at this point.

The best grocery store in Burlington. They carry just about anything you would need or want. The quality of the produce is excellent as well as the seafood and meat. The aged beef is a good addition. They always have items on sale making the prices cheaper than most of the competition. The addition of Zina’s pasta salads in the deli is excellent. What I mostly like is I can get everything here I like with the exception of my favorite ice cream. My favorite pimento cheese is also sold here. They also have the best chocolate milk. Just a great store with the best customer service representatives.

I did an online order for pickup. All my items were available. I received a phone call that my pickup order was ready before my chosen time slot. I thought that was pretty cool. My only complaint that I have is the congestion of that area. It is a madhouse. So much traffic in such tight areas. You can't hardly pull out or turnaround without taking someone out or tearing up your car. That's one of the reasons I avoid going because of the congestion. But...they sometimes have the best deals which is why I chose them this time. I'll likely return but maybe at a less busy time.

Highly disappointed in Harris Teeter tonight!! I called and asked if the dry aged ribeyes were on sale and I was told yes they had plenty. I drove 30 minutes from my house and was told they would not cut them for me because they had just begin cleaning the table… when I said I would wait I was told that it would take too long and that I should get something else. I left without dinner due to wanting a dry aged ribeye, which is why I called before I came….

When I want variety and/or a gourmet items such as cheeses and sushi I head to Harris Teeter. Pricey but usually excellent quality foods.

We spent the day at Elon University and stopped here for supplies for our drive home. Everyone inside the market was helpful and friendly, especially the staff at Starbucks. On the way out Jackie was giving away food samples outside, what a professional and friendly person. Thank you to the team at Harris Teeter.

Great food choices. Things not available at Food Lion and Lowes. Pharmacy lower prices using GoodRx than CVS or Walgreens.The store has been remodeled with wide lanes, new bathrooms, easier to keep social distancing. Still excellent.

Nice store for looks and clean. But very very over priced!! Well!! The greed is getting much bigger at Harris Teeter, They are charging a service fee to get cash back!! Who knows whats next a sevice fee to walk in their stores or a fee to have lights on inside the store, or may be like another store that makes your pay a quarter to get a shopping cart! Wow the greed to get rich!

Extremely rude. They have a self-checkout line, as I was ringing, I got to the last 2 items. Rang the asparagus, and then the checkout stopped and said help on the way. He gave me a snotty look and said I didn't ring up th3 raspberries. YES, BECAUSE THAT WAS THE LAST ITEM AND THE CHECKOUT STOPPED AT THE ASPARAGUS AND OF COURSE WOULD NOT ALLOW THE RASPBERRIES TO BE RUNG UP UNTIL HE CAME AND HIT WHATEVER KEY. HOW F-ING RIDICULOUS TO ACCUSE SOMEONE OF STEALING. WILL NEVER RETURN.NO SH*T THE RASPBERRIES WERE NOT YET RING UP--THEY WERE SITTING RIGHT ON THE SCANNER, WAITING.Also, will point out that the kid was rude from the beginning, making me move the cart around. Acting like I was inconveniencing him by pulling it up to the limited-space self-checkout.Who wants to shop somewhere that has some stupid self-checkout with their video-playback and some random employee accusing you of not ringing a 2.30 pack of raspberries that are literally sitting on the scanner WAITING to be rung up.

Today was going to be a a Grilled Cheese and Soup kind of day. Rain was in the forecast for most of the day. Clean store. Well stocked shelves. Pleasant Associates. I searched online for a store that had this particular soup. Harris Teeter was the only store that had Cole's Chesapeake Cream of Crab Soup. It has no MSG and it's Gluten Free. It's not just any brand of soup. Nor is it the price of Progresso or Campbell's. Nonetheless, great soup to have with a Sourdough Grilled Cheese sandwich.

****UPDATE 11/28/2023****It appears that there has been significant personnel changes in this location since my last rating. As a result I have increased my rating. The staff all over the store is fast, efficient, courteous and very helpful. I am also over the moon that Doc Sue is back in the pharmacy! YaY!!! My shopping experiences in HT have drastically improved.****UPDATE 02/26/2022****Unfortunately I have revised my rating from 5 stars to 1 star.The renovations have been completed and the store is absolutely beautiful!!! The customer service in the general retail/grocery operation continues to be first rate!!! The prices have been creeping up overall but I am still able to find really good deals every now and again.HOWEVER, since the renovation the ENTIRE pharmacy staff has changed. And as a result the quality of service has greatly declined. I have had problems with my prescriptions 4 of the last 5 times they have been filled at this site. I am currently seeking a new pharmacy. For the most part I find the staff is rude and unfriendly. There is one young man there who is very pleasant, efficient and professional. He stands out like a sore thumb. The rest of them act as if they are doing you a favor when they handle your order. There are usually lines in the pharmacy because there are usually problems in the pharmacy. I can't tell you how many times I have gone to the pharmacy after receiving a voice-mail informing me that my prescriptions are ready when in actuality they are not! Then to add insult to injury, the pharmacy employee will deny that I was sent the voice-mail AND refuse to listen to the message when presented.It's really unfortunate that the overall rating for the entire store has to suffer because of the poor performance in one small department. BUT THAT IS JUST HOW BAD IT IS!!! I'm done. I used to enjoy shopping here. Now I don't.****ORIGINAL REVIEW****Renovation and expansion of the Dixie Village location is coming along nicely. The store is ALWAYS clean and well organized. From the stock people to management the staff is super friendly, extremely helpful and very very efficient. The pharmacy is also first rate. Pharmacists and technicians go above and beyond to ensure customers get what they need when they need it. Trust and believe you won't find better service anywhere! I extend my heartfelt thanks to Harris Teeter for the exemplary service they have provided the Burlington community during the pandemic. Ya'll keep up the good work!!!

Great experience with the online ordering and store pickup. We were strapped for time one Sunday and weren't expecting time to shop, so we placed an order for the week. Turns out all you do is press a button to say you're there and they bring it out and load it. I still think we'll do most shopping on our own, but it's nice to have the convenience on occasion.

Went to get on sale crab legs. There was only one skimpy bag left. The gentleman at the seafood counter happily went to get more as though he was keeping some just for me. Always a great experience!

We we're in a bind looking for flowers - Saturday afternoon. We talked with the floral associate and she contacted the floral manager. The two worked together to make a beautiful arrangement and cost was much less than a florist. They were at the end of their shift but stayed over to get it done! Thanks HT!

Store has expanded. It has taken some time to get used to the new layout. Many items have been relocated. Selections are better due to the expansion. It's a great store. With the expansion it now has a pharmacy, a deli, a "flower" shop, a lunch bar, a wine bar and a pizza "store". They also have an extensive section for pet needs and food. They do a great job of keeping the shelves stocked, especially popular items. They do not carry all varieties/ sizes of a brand which means you may have to settle for a larger size to get it.

Great store. Brian is the store manager. So accommodating. He wants you to be happy and he works hard to do that. I order my groceries and the online shoppers are great staff. Bobby is the manager. They really work hard to provide great customer service. I Love Lexie. She is so sweet and pleasant. You will be very happy with the service

Love the layout of this Harris Teeter. Meats are delicious. They have items you may not find at other grocery stores. Staff at customer service and check out were helpful and friendly.

Said it was open on Christmas, went there, and they were closed even when the sign said they were open till 7pm. At least just say you're closed instead of lying about it. So many people came and had to leave because of that

Everything you're looking for, top quality reasonable prices, clean, well stocked. My only knock, would the parking, and getting in, and out always seems a bit risky the way the entrance/exit is on a curve close to a busy intersection, and it's only going to get worse as they are widening the road at the entrance.

Enjoy shopping here especially when they have special on their sub sandwiches. Popping in here from work, easy in, easy out. Able to snag lunch including fresh fruit, sandwich, chips and a drink for less than $10. Nothing too heavy, enough to make it through the day. Convenient parking and easy to get in and leave.

Love Harris Teeter. Fresh salad bar is now available all day and Fridays are half cake sale day. Their Friday specials tend to sell out quickly so if you see something you need to get there early. Their meat market is exceptional and they have real butchers available to make any kind of cut you need.

The pharmacy staff at the Burlington NC store are the most caring and thoughtful people I've ever met. I'm not exaggerating at all!!!! I drive 20 mins to go here and I wouldn't change it. Thank you guys for be amazing!
