This is my "my" Food Lion" but it's close to my dog groomer.Great store, laid out just slightly different than my local store, but not enough to be a problem. I stop in, get anything I absolutely need, and get back to pick my pup up when she's ready.Like all Food Lion stores, they have a nice, friendly, and helpful staff!

3 and half stars really .... love the fact that all lanes open all the time , that's an A* in anyone's book. Customer service is okay. The store has capability of being a 5 star, raise the bar a notch and it's a great store . Bud light orange samples were given to customer ...*" Freedom of choice !" I still would recommend that store to people . Limited wine and beer selection due to space.

I love this place go all the time ,but since the new management they're out of a lot of stuff. But some friendly and go out if there way for you an some are so blah don't care about you or try a. Help you.

Great experience. There is a mature gentleman at this location that has an arm disability and he is amazing!!! He is older and has one arm and pushes a line of buggies into the store better than the young guys do!!! He approached me at my car and helped me load up my groceries! He is fantastic and so polite. Then I watched him take a trail of buggies into the store like it was nothing. I didn’t get his name but I got a pic of him with the buggies. He needs to recognized for his amazing customer service!!! Way to go!

I would give this store a zero if I could. I was over charged on an item. Called & spoke to a man he said the next time I came in to say I spoke to home they would refund the difference. Simple enough. When I went there the next time the girl lied to my face and said they have no such employee. She argued with me on the floor in front of everyone. She made me feel like I did something wrong for the price difference. Called and spoke to the female assistance manager she wanted me to speak to the store manager, so I did. He apologized and said he would speak to the employee and wanted to send me a gift card which I did not ask for. I want 3 to 4 weeks No gift cared called back and spoke to the female asst again and she said he sent it but they would send another one. It has been a month and a half and I never received 1 of the cards. It seems that lying is common place in this store. Something so minor and their employees blew it big time. Starting with the management and working down. I will be calling their corporate office.

You have to be aware that many of the young people who work in grocery stores are not very conversant in food preparation and storage consequently when you ask for Sure-Jell you may be sent to ladies hair products instead o preserving and canning. The young people at food Lion seem to really try to make you happy and have what you need.

I wish I could give no stars! I went in this store just to grab a few things to eat and they’re putting unknown substances in the food. Food packaged at these stores along with all of the fruits and vegetables.

The Maple Avenue store needs to fire the cashier today that started cursing at another employee today. I called the store and told them she should have been taken off that register. A heavy set black girl with blonde extensions screamed out to the other employee "I ain't no MF white person" along with a lit more curse words. No supervisor came over and corrected her. I will not stop there again.

Today I stopped at Food lion in Maple Ave. I went to purchase a quick meal..( Spaghetti meal).. I saw the 12 items express line only had one person that was finishing up. I knew I had a little over 12 items. I started to place my item on the belt and said to this beautiful black women, is it ok that I have a few more? She smiled and said you are ok. She said I just need your ID. Which I loved because I'm Over 50. Her tone and smile was so friendly.. that I wanted to bless someone at that particular time. The guy behind me, waiting patiently, only had a wine opener. I said "ring that up". It was small but her smile made me pass a blessing on. A "SMILE" goes a long way.

Store always smells clean, staff is helpful, friendly, and attentive. The store was well organized. I found everything I needed with no problem. I would highly recommend this location for all shopping needs.

The customer service manager Melinda is the best one around ❤️ the girls are nice at checkout and the manager is awesome! Store is ALWAYS clean!!! There is a young man there named Tyson he is the most helpful and sweet young man I have ever met!!! They make shopping there wonderful!!!! Both Melinda and Tyson are a asset to food lion and if they ever leave lots of people will shop elsewhere they make this store!!!!

It was clean and had minimal traffic. Nonetheless, making it feel safe to do shopping in the very early morning hours during this scary time. I attended during opening hours this morning and the staff was exceptional in their service and support. The very best in the chain of stores. The very best management in all of the chain.

Nice place. Friendly folks. Good customer service. Bathrooms in the very back of the place. Not great for a quick road trip stop if you don't like walking. Otherwise great.

Smaller, cramped Food Lion.Difficult in/out parking lot, lots of potholes.No self checkout. Avoid when busy, e.g. after work.

The store itself was great. However my cashier was not very nice at all!!! I then realized why I never come to this food lion. I was closer to this one but I should have drove the extra time and went to the other one. Shipped here before and got the same treatment. It won't be a next time for me shopping here

Usually very good but on my last visit I got a white cashier with attitude who back talked me in front of the manager. She was definitely a little off her rocker and I did not appreciate the attitude and seeing her throwing a temper tantrum just because I called her out on her attitude and unfrienlyness. She called over the manager to let him know I said she had an attitude. My rating was 4 stars, dropped to 2 stars because of cashier's actions / attitude.
