Food Lion is usually my first choice for groceries. I’ve found their prices (with the weekly sales) to be the most affordable. Most of the local Food Lions have the option to use self checkout registers. The FL on Harden St. Burlington is the only one that I'm aware of that does NOT have them. The store in Graham has self checkouts, but limits use to purchases of 15 items or less. (I wish that they would change this policy)

I love this foodlion's deli. They have a new worker there. His name is Zulu and he cuts my meat right. He was working with other customers very professional. Very sweet to me and my mother and also helped us with some recommendations for bread for the meat that we cut. Thank you so much for hiring him. They always short and the manager and the manager there. Oh my God her name is cilia. Not really professional. I'd rather get help by him than with her keep him working there. He brings a refreshness to the store.

Food Lion is very close by, so I shop there. It is more laid back than some grocery stores. I really love it

Last 2 times been there. Only 1 register open. I don’t wanna do self check out. Been going to this store for 18 years. Won’t again. At least Maple Ave location has registers open. And about 25% of the time no carts, they all out in the parking lot. Front end of this store very poorly run. Avoid this location.

This time I actually was not making a purchase because I had a walk that I happened to be completing. The have gone there many times, the cashiers are very courteous and helpful. Everything is out in the open and very clean.

This particular Food Lion is really good with the selection and the varieties that they offer. The staff are just okay. The deli is nice and you can get fresh slices of whatever you want from there. They're hot bar is kind of hit and miss. Most the time it's dried out and had been under the light for too long. The prices are pretty good but check the flyers before going, that's what I do anyway. I like being a rewards customer and like saving a lot of money.

The lady Michelle (which is the manager or higher up) is beyond rude and doesn't mind giving anyone a hard time, I left this food lion and went right to another one and had NO issues

This food lion is clean on the inside, and the workers are knowledgeable on where products are located. Everyone is kind and helpful, and they usually have at least one manned register opened if you dont want to use one of the 4 self checkouts.Plus a lot of people dont seem to know this fun fact, but unless otherwise posted, you can receive up to $200 cash back without purchasing anything, at a manned register. (Must buy something for cash back at a self checkout) but this is where i go to get money off a card, instead of going to an ATM and having to pay multiple fees for using it to get my money off. But like i said- this is possible at any Food Lion, everyday, unless they have a sign up that says otherwise. (And ive accidentally clicked cash back at a self checkout that had the sign on it- if the card is processed, they have to give you the cash back, because they cant refund a cash back transaction. It just may take a few minutes for a manager to come up to the front and get the money out of their money machine, or safe. Not saying you should do this, but just saying if you make the same mistake I did- you will end up with your cash back, even if they have a sign up.)

This store is one of the newer designs. Aisles are not narrow and are kept clean. This store has more variety than the older Food Lions. The few employees I have been in contact with have been friendly and helpful. Generally Food Lion's prices are less than other regional / national chains.

This is the Food Lion to go to. Modern, roomy, clean, fast checkout. Was worried when we first went in because there was heck of a line. Just picking up a few items and when we got to check out all lanes were empty. We talking about five minutes. Great job......

Would have been a lot better of an experience if most of the staff actually wore their masks properly over their nose. I can see from this that our safety is not important to the management of this store. We won't be back.A few staff members wore theirs correctly, including our cashier, and for that we are grateful.

Anyone who works in customer service knows every customer is important regardless of how busy you are. Seeing that there were four people grabbing trash cans and ignoring the fact that I had been standing idle at self self-checkout for the last 5 minutes just to wait on an age restriction approval is unacceptable.I understand you're never going to find the same group of people working in a store, nor will you always have the same experience but the crew that once worked this store were a whole lot better at not just greeting the customer but making sure no one was standing around waiting for help. Don't worry, when Publix is built I'll be taking my business down there or to another food Lion.

I've never shopped at Food Lion until I moved to NC, I think the store has reasonable prices, compared to Walmart, but it's lacking.I find recently I've been having to shop at two different Supermarkets to get everything I need. My biggest complaint is the produce dept. I feel they need to expand on the variety of items and keep everything fresh, as sometimes the produce is already rotten or beginning to mold.

Love the location, close to Home Depot and other convenient stores, also close to the hwy 85. Very clean and organized parking lot. Plenty of cashiers on Sunday. Love their chicken wings. Very helpful employees.

This food lion is ok, as long as you go in the late afternoon or evening. If you want to be racially profiled, then go in the morning. I was told that I am disgusting for being with a black man by an employee there. I have made 3 separate complaints, and yet NOTHING has been done. This is unacceptable for any company. I am a shopper and will turn down making money to not go to this store while she is there! Food Lion, do better!

This Food Lion is awesome. They always have friendly cashiers and everything I need . I love the Food Lion app that let's me shop the weekly specials and the MVP specials. Earning my Shop & Earns has saved me money as well. Much better than other grocery stores!

Employees do their jobs and nothing more that I've ever witnessed. Sometimes its easy to feel unwelcomed. 21st century mentality at its finest when it comes to customer appreciation. Their service is giving you a place to shop. So this location can be lacking. Positives, recent remodel with more checkouts and produce is always fresh at competitive pricing.

This is my favorite Food Lion in the area. The shelves are always well stocked, the aisles are wide, and the employees are always super friendly and helpful! I recommend going when it's not peak hours so they can help you unload your cart, bag it, load it back up, and even help you with it to your car! This comes in handy when you have kids :)

Store has been recently remodeled, and has a wide variety of products, including a well stocked deli, beer and wine section, and a good selection of fresh produce. Staff is friendly, and checkout is quick and convenient. Overall a great experience!

They give the other big chain down the road a run for their money. Know those prices before you stop in. Produce selection has been decent and the deli staff is very helpful.
