BEWARE‼️‼️ if this is your first time shopping at BJ’s there’s no such thing as a free shopping pass. They’ll issue you one at the front desk, but won’t tell you if you don’t get a membership they will add on an additional $50 when you check out. No one told me and I felt like I was forced to get a membership because I was checking out and notice it added on $50. Why not tell people that it’s not an actual free day shopping pass and you’ll be charged either way. The store is no Sam’s club or Costco’s! What a wast of $50!

While I usually have good experiences at BJ's, my interaction with the older gentleman at the gas station was quite the opposite. His lack of basic customer service skills and a very rude attitude ruined my mood within moments of arriving. It's disheartening to encounter individuals who consistently project misery and disdain for their job, lacking professionalism along the way. Considering the simplicity of his role, it's perplexing why he remains in a position he clearly despises, especially when there are plenty of others who would eagerly love the opportunity to take his place.

BJ's used to be a great avenue for saving money, but that seems to no longer be the case. We used to purchase a lot of our meats and chicken from BJ's, but the supermarket is now more often than not the better buy. And with the limited selection...why bother?Things are particularly bad with their Rewards program, which is very poorly run. We've had Rewards go missing, been denied Rewards for qualifying purchases (are they changing the terms and conditions on the fly?), and more. To add insult to injury, their customer "care" team is anything but caring.We've been loyal BJ's shoppers for some time now, but with Costco just down the road? We're rethinking our membership, as we have both a BJ's and a Costco membership. We also scored a great membership deal with Costco, given my husband's status as a veteran. I haven't seen the same consideration from BJ's.

BJ's has lost my business for good. After 10 years of membership it’s not hard to ask what’s the membership really for? Years ago food court was closed, the air machine at the gas station is always out of service! Also the selections of men’s clothing and foot wear are down right horrible. Makes absolutely no sense to keep this going. BJ’s step up your game ya’ve been falling off for a while now…. SMH

Shopped at this location one night 10 minutes before closing knew exactly what we were going in to get and where it was there was a young man that was short and was telling us that we needed to get our groceries up to the front. They close at 9 o’clock That was all good and then he came around again at five minutes till 9 o’clock and said you need to take your stuff to the front we are closed and we had four minutes to spare. We were picking up our last item. We talked to the manager on duty. She was a white girl with curly hair . She told us that he has been going through some stuff. We told her we have also, that’s not an excuse and she needs to handle that. He was very rude. When we went to the parking lot we met other customers that dealt with the same issue they asked us was the young gentleman rude to you like he was to us. In my eyes, the manager did not handle that professionally I work for the public too, and you never blame a coworkers attitude to a customer saying that they had the right to do what they did all she said was I’m sorry for the way he acted and he should not have, but I will say he’s been going through some things. No EXCUSE. That’s what’s wrong with society now they don’t train the new generation on how to treat others and that was unacceptable.

This store is decent, but BJ's pricing is nearly predatory. They create the illusion of savings by imitating real wholesale clubs like Costco and Sam's, but on average their prices are nearly twice the per-weight pricing of the same products at regular stores. Dont believe me? Bring in a Food Lion sale ad next time you shop here.They try to smooth this over by offering coupons cyclically, but in my opinion its MORE expensive to shop here even before you factor in the cost of membership, which would surely offset any perceived savings.This is simply a money trap for un-savvy shoppers.

Layout is different, not horrible though. Friendly atmosphere and it's a wholesale club so obviously they sell in large quantities, not sure why someone actually complained about that at a whole sale business. Anyways, it's worth the shot to try either way.

Membership has gone up in the last year. If this happens next year, I'm going to cancel. I had a problem with my BJ's credit card last year for 6 months that never was taking care of. This was from the cc company. BJ's never helped me fix it. I couldn't even get gas at a discount. But very happy with customer service.

Went and paid for a membership. First trip there I bought two things and of course they can't be bothered to a check out that's not run by their customers, and the receipt wouldn't print. I thought nothing of it but the person at the door had the balls to tell me he won't "let me leave" unless I go back and get it. I can assure you if someone tries to prevent me from leaving a store there will be a scene. Fix your policies and train your people.

We were interested in possibly purchasing a laptop it was the display model as they were out of stock on it. I went to member services and asked for an associate to help us by the laptops she called someone on the radio needles to say nobody showed up. When we were leaving I asked a member or the leadership ship team if they sold the display laptops he told me.it depends if they are going to be getting that model back.in. i asjkes hi. To come woth me.to the laptops so.i cam show.ho..which one i was talking about. Instead of doing thst he walked away. I have beena bjs meber for several years i will definitely have to decide whywr or not to renew my membership next year . Ii will be purchasing a laptop elsewhere.We wOuld.liie the store.mamger to contact us by email.

I was in the area today so thought I'd stop by to grab a few things....I stood in line at the deli counter for 25 minutes while 1 employee struggled to serve multiple customers. It was 1:30 in the afternoon when I got in line, by 1:55 he was still working with the same customers. Things get busy I get it, but 1 employee on Saturday?? And as I stood there multiple employees and members of management saw the line that consisted of about 6 people and just walked right by. No teamwork at all....very disappointing...I left with nothing but 2 very cranky toddlers!

Bought a tv, 5 weeks later I am having issues with it. I keep getting the run around from BJ’s and Samsung on getting it replaced or refunded and that’s WITH the warranties. Would not recommend buying anything electronic from either company.

Grateful for the more affordable gas. I do wish there were more organic food options for packaged items. Self-checkout booths are loud and irritating, but human service is almost always really friendly and helpful, with the exception of one lady who "greets" and checks your receipts that likes to pretend you don't exist by looking the other way. It's just a minor annoyance, but still, it comes off as rude. That person doesn't need to be the start and finish of anyone's experience.

Always giving out milk that is expiring next day or within a week. Happened 4 consequent times for all last 4 pickup orders. If I have to come back and pick my own milk or exchange why order online for curbside pickup.I even spoke to the manager last time, she didn’t even offer an apology and said store policy is to pickup the farthest date possible still their employees pick the closest expiring milk. How on earth will one finish a 3 pack of milk expiring next day or couple of days. Manager assures that it will be taken care, still no apology. I go back today and again the same problem.Interesting fact, if I go back to the fridge everytime they ask me to exchange I never find any milk that is expiring atleast in a month. So I’m assuming they are saving this close to expiring milk elsewhere and rubbing it on pickup customers as they do not see the dates. 4 times is not a coincidence. This is very unprofessional and not the right way to do business.

First let me say, me and my family like coming to BJs to look around and sometimes buy items. So we came up there about 2 months ago and looked at a cake for my son’s birthday party in December. Spoke with a lady in the Deli department name Miss Ann who does the special cakes. So we requested a safari cake wrapped and she told us she could do. As the days got closer to the party date. My wife called to confirm the cake. Miss Ann wasn’t there but someone said that we were good to go on our order. It will be done. My wife even went it to confirm with Miss Ann on another day and she said she could do it and it would be ready by the 30Th. Well the day before the party a man called us and said that they could do the special cake and that Miss Ann was sick and on vacation. The really disappointed us because this was our first baby 1 year old party. I felt as tho she should have told us she could not do the animal cake like we wanted it. Her customer service was very displeasing. Very unprofessional for not communicating with us about it. Not even calling us to say she is will not be able to so we could at least had time to get another place. We will not be ordering a cake from her again. So if you think about ordering a special cake. Find another place to do it.

Horrible customer service. Purchased a membership for a black Friday special..drive 35 miles each way to pick up my order only to find that they could not assist in putting the safe into the truck..obviously they got it to check out just fine but couldn't put it in the truck? Returned the order, they lost a new customer $500 sale over poor customer service. This is the first and LAST shopping trip will def keep my sam's club membership and will ask for a club membership refund.

I really appreciate knowing that I can use BJs app and clip coupons and will automatically come up when ring out.You are able to shop with ease and purchase everything from office supplies to electronics to candy to cleaning supplies and most everything else.Occasionally you will find deals on clothing, books and seasonal items for use at home, work or donation.

I don’t know if management or corporate ever look at this, but I can’t figure out how to email the Burlington location. Y’all have the best deli team in town. Usually the deli is my least favorite part at the grocery store, but the gentleman with the mustache knows my order and always greets my daughter and I with a smile and the utmost respect. If he’s passing through the store he’ll stop to wave and say hi. He gives the gold standard of service.

I have cancelled my membership because you must clip or upload their own coupons to get the best deals. What a lot of trouble when I'm already paying to shop there- it's their own coupons for goodness sake! Just give me the best deal! We are all busy enough! Please, no BJ store coupons required!

Appointment was 10a 11/18/22, ordered my tires online. Bjs couldn't install them because they couldn't do off market wheels because no key would fit. Had to try to get my money back, took over hr and a half to put back in my account. Bjs should be able to accommodate any type of vehicle if you have a tire center. Lesson learned, had to get money back and buy them from discount tires. Just beware!!!!

Refuses to assist with loading safes. They have a bunch on sale and now we know why..no one wants to purcahse it because they won't help you load it. They will however get it out the door for you. We asked before we purcahsed the safe if they will help us load it. They said yes, we got it. They brought it out to the door and then disappeared without saying a word. What makes me mad is not that they won't help you load it. It's the fact that they said yes and then disappeared. If they had simply said no, we would have had to get help and then come back and buy it when we had help. So in short, horrible customer service.

BJ's has lost my business for good. I just purchased a Sam's Club membership instead. It first started with a power reclining sectional I ordered last year (which was still under warranty). The electronics in the recliner stopped working (with the footrest extended), rendering that section of the couch useless. I was going to return the whole sectional, but opted for $200 in compensation instead - however it took them over 3 months to get it to me! The reason why - several customer service agents FORGOT to enter my gift card request. I called BJ's around 8 different times over 3 months.Fast forward to yesterday - I returned an online order in-club that I had partially paid for with a BJ's gift card. They weren't sure if I would be refunded to the original physical gift card (which was thrown away after use) or if BJ's would send me one. In this case, BJ's emailed me a gift card. But guess what! The card had no number or barcode in it! I'm now on hold again with BJ's to get this issue resolved. I fully anticipate that it'll take 3 months again to resolve. At this point, they can just have the $138 they owe me, and I'll just be sure to warn others not to shop there.

6 Months ago we replace both front wheel tires, ever since then, they kept getting deflated every month.We brought the Vehicle up there on a towing truck at some point, they promised to replace our defective tires, and when they day came, ZACH! Simply came up with the excuse of that "we needed to show the invoice" for when we purchased the tires...He simply didn't care that children were on that vehicle.ZACH! Will always send you to the discount tire shop around the corner when he doesn't feel like fixing the problems he caused.We at our foundation, tried the best possible not to leave bad reviews or negative comments about local businesses we consume services or products from, but Mr. Zach left us with no option.We also notice that some other clients came back to complain about their defective tires as well, and this gentleman came up with every excuse in the book not to do his job.One star for horrible customer service BJ'S TIRE CENTER!!!

I went to Bj's today for decaf coffee. The coffee wasn't on the shelf. An employee helped me locate it. It was on an upper shelf. She went to get someone with the forklift to help me. They never showed up. I had to get someone else to help me. She had to get a ladder to get the coffee down off the shelf. It took me almost an hour to get the coffee. This has happened multiple times now. I was told it doesn't sell that well so theykeepit up high. If your customers can't reach the product of course it will not sell. Think about it!!!

Got a free 3 month trial membership offer in the mail so I thought I would check it out.*Deli is great.*Better selection & prices for meats than grocery stores.*Excellent frozen food section.Not sure if I will renew my membership since I am not feeding a family and buying bulk can be a pain. But the place is OK!
