I visited Levy's (pronounced: Lee-V) Soul Café today and was extremely impressed. I was greeted nicely and was met with a calm atmosphere. Levy was walking around greeting his customer's and helping us to feel at home. I was unsure what to order, so I ordered a 2pc Whiting plate. It came with hush puppies and I ordered slaw and fries on the side. Definitely worth the price! I paid $17 and the whiting were of a nice size. The only thing(s) I regret are 1. not taking a picture of my plate BEFORE I ate and 2. not asking what's for dessert? Great place! Great atmosphere. Good food. I will be back to try something else.

My husband and I ate at Levy’s Soul Food in Bunn, NC. I ordered the tender juicy Tri tipsteak, sweet potatoes and collard greens and my husband ordered the ribs, coleslaw and mashed potatoes. Everything was yummy tasting! Levy walked around and asked if everything was good and introduced himself, very nice man, we talked for a bit. All staff were very nice. They were going to have a live saxophone player play there end of month in the evening. I thought that was cool. They serve beer and wine also. We went back a few weeks later, I wanted more tri tip but the restaurant did not serve the tri tip that day. I understand its a hit and miss for the tri tips. I’ll call first next time. Everything they serve here is so tender and tasteful. I’m so glad we don’t have to drive too far to eat here. Definitely recommend!

Me and my daughter went there today, and it was such a pleasant atmosphere. Was greeted warmly with a smile from the wife. Food was delicious. Very clean environment. Once we sat down, was honored to be greeted by owner (Mr Levy) who kindly gave some history on the family photos covering the walls( beautiful family). Then I had the honor of meeting the owner mother, whom was very friendly and didn't look a day older than 21. Thanks for all the hospitality, good food, smiles, great music, and most of all the great customer service. We will be back, and soon.

We had such a great experience eating here! The owners were extremely nice and we felt like we were a part of family. We all decided to have fish, flounder and whiting and the flounder was the move with the old bay seasoning! The sides were good. My wife had the yams and 7 cheese mac while I had fries and green beans. All were fresh and flavored like our family gatherings!! I loved the concept of the family portraits in the seating area that told the family history through pictures. We will be back soon❤️💯

Our family went to Levy's today for the 1st time. Several family members were baptized earlier and we thought what better for the soul than soul food! Absolutely delicious! Everyone was so friendly, took time to show us everything on the menu and the food was so good. Several of us had brisket and it was so tender and savory. Collard greens OMG the best!!!We will be back to support this small business!

Made it out to North Carolina to visit some family members and Levys Soul Cafe was recommended to me by my cousin who eats here frequently. This place is southern comfort food at its finest. I got to meet the owner Levy and he was super friendly. Made me right at home and it was like i was invited to his home for dinner. Service was amazing and i don't know where to start with the food. Everything was fresh and had that home cooked feel and flavor. The ox tails blew my socks off. This place will always be on my list anytime i visit.

Upon entering the restaurant, the owner, Levy came over and introduced himself and mentioned all of the foods which were on the menu. Including the items which were not out on display like the fish, shrimp, fried pork chop, French fries, mashed potatoes and a plethora of other options. I choose the brisket, macaroni and cheese, along with collard greens. It was absolutely amazing. I also ordered the strawberry cake - which was homemade! It was all so delicious.Parking: There are several parking spaces available right in front of the restaurant.

I’m so glad I found this hidden gem! My sisters and I were in the area for an event and stumbled upon Levy’s. Levy and his entire team were amazing. The atmosphere was welcoming, food was great and they provided excellent service from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed talking family history and getting to know Levy. If you’re ever in Bunn stop by and enjoy a great meal in a family oriented atmosphere.

This place is a hidden gem. Owners are extremely welcoming, and the atmosphere is great. Now to the food. They have the best macaroni and cheese you will ever eat - seriously, stop what you are doing, and drive there. I had their hamburger steak special, and the gravy was INCREDIBLE. They need to mix that gravy and mac and cheese for a new out-of-this-world dish, lol. The collard greens were top notch. I can't wait to go back... might even go right NOW!

First time ever, food was amazing I got a flounder dinner, flounder was fresh, crispy and flavorful, Mac and cheese was genuinely good which is hard to come by in a restaurants and good potato salad!!! Even rarer to come across the potato chunks were the right size the flavor was 10/10 and consistency was great, the hush puppies were also 10/10. All the food here looks amazing I had a hard time picking out what to eat I would highly recommend and I will be back. The restaurant itself was very clean and the decorations are nice you can tell there’s a lot of love built into this establishment!

Approaching the order counter we see a wide variety of foods--meats and sides. My husband asked about fried chicken and Levy offered to cook up some if we didn't mind a 20 minute wait. That worked for us so he ordered the half fried chicken meal and I ordered the brisket meal (both meals include two sides and hushpuppies).While we waited we took in the clean and welcoming dining room. It is not one of those where the noise is overwhelming and silenced TVs are mounted all around--perfect for game day or everyday.Family pics tastefully decorate the walls--from the 1800s on up. One special wall is reserved for veterans and those in service to our country. Retired Marine owner Levy's photos are on display and guests are welcome to add their own service photos. Levy has also served as a firefighter.We enjoyed talking to Levy and his family and that led to us trying a delicious fried and sauced rib--yum! We highly recommend!Back to the meals-the brisket was very good. It was served in brown gravy but I think it would also be good with their sweeter BBQ sauce. Mac & Cheese and fried chicken were also delicious. When we are back in the area or on the way to somewhere near Bunn we will be sure to stop in again!

VERY CLEAN and the staff are VERY PROFESSIONAL/RESPECTFUL! The food is unseasoned and bland although it looks the complete opposite! Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless someone just wants to support this business. I’ve been on 4 separate occasions before posting this review oxtails are EXTREMELY oily baked chicken/pork chops unseasoned greens of any sort unseasoned nothing is made with love let alone “soul” $20 a plate and I can DEFINITELY cook everything on the menu 20x’s better! Not worth it.

My daughters and I like to try a new place for lunch each week and this week we went to Levy's. OMG! Tge pork chops are cooked to order and were really good but the cabbage and mac&cheese were both the best I've ever had at a restaurant!! Their food is so flavorful! Instead of going to different restaurants from now on, we are going to try different options from the menu from here!

Fantastic food. I had the chicken with gravy with the best Potato Salad in North Carolina. If you are in the area, stop by and treat yourself well. It was wonderful that the owner and his wife stopped by to check on me.Great place.
