They had what I needed and it was easy to find. After paying I got some cash back and the young clerk asked what denominations I’d like but he handed me a bunch of wadded up bills so that was kind of odd.

I mean, for a grocery store it alright. Ok stocked well enough so you can likely get everything on your list. Not enough people at registers. So many lines, staff can be rude at times.

They always have what I am looking for and at much better prices than a convenience store. They have real people checking you out instead of self checkouts. Gives it more of a hometown feel, in my opinion.

Easy to shop BUT standing in lines for the 2 checkouts open are no fun ! Self checkouts like most places would really help me when I only have a few items especially !!!!!!

This is the closest grocery store to my house. It's a little old looking. Parking lot is easy-in, easy-out. We found everything we were looking for. Shelves were well stocked. We just needed some breakfast items mainly. Got oatmeal, bagels, butter, cream and some other items. There were good selections for everything we needed. We found everything with no problem. The fellow at checkout was super. It was a good trip.UPUpdate 7/29/22: Still my go-to when I need a few things.Update 10/16/22: Food Lion is still my go-to for quick shopping. One thing I'd like to see is mixed cupcakes. Its just the wife and I and she likes chocolate cake and I'm a yellow cake guy. All the other grocers around sell mixed cupcakes, 3 chocolate and 3 yellow. I'd have picked up some cupcakes today but skipped out because I didn't want to buy two six-packs.Update 12/31/22 - Still the go-to!Update 11/13/23: Same as its been.Update 1/14/24: Went for some rolls, cat treats, and ice cream. Took advantage of some sales. Good tripUpdate 4/14/24: looks like they might be getting ready for a spruce up.

store and employees are always fine but PLEASE get self checkout, there are never enough employees for the number of customers at just about any time of day. also cleaning the floors is something that really needs to happen when the store is CLOSED. i don't want to shop for my fresh veggies while having 2-cycle exhaust blown in my face. 🤢

I went to pick up a few items. The shelves were stocked and faced nicely. There wasn't a long wait in line. Cashier/Associate was courteous. Thanked me for shopping and asked me to come again. I haven't heard that in a long time. 😊

I'd give it 5 stars cuz that's the best FL I've been to around the tri-county area. The staff is friendly and quick. I'm giving 3 stars cuz July 10th 2023 @ 5pm customer service told me they couldn't cash my lottery ticket. Maybe they need an ATM there so they can get ppl their winnings. Seems like everyone I talked to told me to go to FL and yet here I am, leaving 3 stars on a 5 star grocery store for no lottery cash available. Ill change it to 5 stars if a manager conta to me....

Rudest person at the self check out.We spend so much money at these stores, and I'm having an issue with putting in MVP cards, so I asked for help. I used my manners, please, and thank you, but she did not. Treated me and looked at me like I was stupid and bothering her. I didn't cause your bad day. Please don't take it out on me.

This is our closest grocery store but we don't have any others that we would go out of the way for to shop at. Reasonable selection pretty much anything anyone could need or want. Sometimes they have excellent prices and cuts of steak!

I use to work at food Lion right after they purchased food town. Let's be kind to the help that works there and not rude cause they are short handed by a society that doesn't want to work

I left my wallet in my grocery cart. The employeewho returned the carts to the store saw it and saved it till my boyfriend got there to pick it up. Many thanks!! Nice to know there are some honest people.

Most of staff and especially managers are very friendly and helpful. Prices are going high rapidly for quality of item. Wish they would send out flyers again. Someone else does some shopping for me and I like seeing the sales so I can stock up. This was my favorite grocery in town, but I seem to be going other places more. Please see if anything can be done. Thanks

Friendly location. Love the staff. Wine selection is a bit small. Very compact. The have most staples of any selection. Nothing niche or fancy, but you will find the basics here.

Very clean store and well stocked. The guy in the meat department went above and beyond to help me with what I was liking for. I was shopping for my uncle and was unfamilair with some of the items on hiss list. The gentlemen helped make suggestions of different items I was asking about. Not what I was expecting, many Wal-Mart employees will just say that they don't know and won't go through the trouble.

I wish I had gotten the cashier's name, because she was an absolute pleasure. I don't normally shop at Food Lions, as their prices could be better. However, as a necessity, this store worked well. It's a nice store, as most Food Lions are now.

I feel so safe in there. They have a cleaning station as you enter. Cleaning carts as you leave them, they offer masks to the mask less. I cut back on the stores who don't go the extra mile, I need to feel safe.. Great job Food lion

I like shopping at food lion, it is close, and the food is always fresh. If you need something they are quick to help you. I like the family feeling there. It is a shame though that showing someone that you like them by sharing a hug with an associate. I have seen this done in this store before and I thought, how nice is this? I came to know an associate there A she was such a great lady, I must say I was the first one to hug her.( I am a hugger) it became something we always did though I did see her share hugs with lots of other people. I looked forward to coming to the store because I knew I was gonna get that hug. Made me smile, and made a bad day better. I know I’m only one of many that enjoyed her presence. Now I’m told that it is not appropriate for her to do.

This is my hometown store. I love the employees and anytime the store gets too busy not only will they open more registers but you will even see managers jumping in to help out. Employees are very helpful and willing to help you find anything.

The deli at this store needs a new manager.Employees are verbally aggressive with customers. They ignore you and act as though you're bothering them if you ask for slice meat for sandwiches. After several incidents I spoke with the store manager Robert, who wasn't very helpful. He said this wasn't the first he had had complaints from other customers about the lack of service received in the deli. I'll avoid the deli in the future.

Understand there is a pandemic but the shelves always seem to be bear of essentials like bread and water amongst other things. The main thing that bothered me was to see the employees and 1 manager on the floor wearing their masks under their noses. Not setting a good example for others and making customers feel safe

Went to pick up some items for dinner while visiting family. Couldn't find some items at all, like this particular Food Lion doesn't carry them, which is strange to me because I have never had that problem with a Food Lion before.What dropped my rating was that there were 4 workers smoking directly outside of the door, one with a sanitation cart outside with him while he smoked. None of them moved away or apologized when they were blowing smoke towards me while I was walking out. Just nasty for them to be smoking so close to the front doors. That isn't very good managment.
