This is a nice, old timey, hometown grocery store. It isn’t fancy but I like shopping there. They have most everything you might need from produce to grocery staples. Their meat section is the best. If you want a nice steak this is the place to buy it.

No public bathrooms, even for paying customers. Sign on the access doors says they will charge offenders with trespassing if passing the outer door. I will never shop here again.

I'm so glad a friend introduced me to this historic grocery store. I very much look forward to returning.IGA, a Cherokee, South Carolina staple since the early 70s at least.I'm only 58; it could be longer than that.

I like this little store. IGA is a relatively small chain of supermarkets generally found in more rural areas. The one here in Bryson City is a superior compromise between a mini-mart and a larger chain store. The excellent and well presented produce section is modest in size but offers a good mix of daily staples, all quite fresh and nicely displayed. The meat department boasts a good selection of pork, beef and chicken with prices often lower than large chains. The price for sirloin strip steak, for example, was nearly $3/ pound lower than what I saw at a large chain store one day previous. And they have a comprehensive selection of canned goods. Top all of this with really friendly staff who actually seem happy to help, and you have a great shopping experience.

Stopped by to get a few things for our trip and this store is limited on supplies. Also note they were only accepting cash when we went and it wasn't posted too well when we went in but had better signs when we came out, all from no Internet.

The local IGA of Bryson City carries a nice selection of items for a quick stop. The store is convenient and clean. The staff is very friendly.

Just a good crew of ladies working and easy to tease around and cut jokes with, was actually nice to shop and check out. The ribeye steaks were super tender and enjoyed them a lot!

What a nice little town. This store had what we needed for our night as we passed through. Fresh produce, frozen foods, drinks, and most importantly, booze. The staff was cuttin up with us, making me feel welcomed!

Stopped in here to pick up a few 5hings for our cabin while staying in Bryson city. They had what we needed for a small grocery store and the prices were actually not that bad. I almost didn't want to go in there thinking that I'd pay double for stuff just because it's the only grocery store in the area but I was surprised

This is such a small grocery store with a small town, homey feel. Everyone was very nice and helpful, it was free of clutter, and had everything we needed for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised!

It's very small for what they offer. They do have some pretty low prices but it's still best to shop the sales. The aisles are a bit of a tight fit with cars and people but I do love their selections. I enjoy their store brand bread. It's better made quality than some of the more expensive bread selections. The customer service of the staff were good, they were friendly and genuinely nice, and they were very helpful. The parking lot is a bit tight and small, directly off a main road, easy to get to. The structure of the building is a bit dated and needs improvement in building and parking lot, but it gives you that small town, country feel. Will keep coming back because I do like their comparable sale prices. And they donate! I love local businesses that donate and give back to their communities!

Amazing store - small, quaint, with quick and easy access. You'll find more than groceries here with some good deals like on food like chicken breasts and quick fix items. You won't find everything as their store's size is relatively limited. However if you're looking for something fast, this is the place to get it.

I seriously love the grocery store!! It's affordable. The butcher is the absolute best in town. They sell locally grown meat and vegetables- how wonderful!!

Extremely pleased with the Bryson City IGA. This grocery store was very clean and had all the items I needed. The staff was extremely helpful. The items were slightly over priced, but that is understandable for a vacation area. It's comparable to most IGAs. Smoked chicken salad is amazing if you intend to eat in.

Not a typical giant grocery but they have essentials and a small variety. The best part is you don't have to walk a mile to pick up what you need. The employees are friendly and polite. No long lines either.
