While in Bryson City we found this wonderful Bakery! We had to come back twice before we left town. The coffee, food and variety of selections... GREAT!Every pastry was delicious.. made fresh. You must try the quiche... each of them were yummy! While you are there... you can shop at the Marketplace. There is something for everyone.Children are welcome... and will not be bored! They have an area for them to enjoy. We enjoyed looking at the design and decor within the walls of this establishment... very eclectic.Note: they are OPEN on Mondays when many businesses are closed. Please do yourself a huge favor and treat yourself here ... you will NOT be disappointed. We cannot wait to go back ... again... and again... and again!Kid-friendliness: Bring them... there is an area just for them to enjoy.

A MUST STOP! We happened upon this amazing bakery in Bryson City traveling through in our conversion van from Maine. The coffee was amazing, and the croissant and orange zest cinnamon roll were incredible! We met the owner, Mark. So friendly and helpful and wonderful to talk to. We were so comfortable in this little bakery chatting with other happy folks and enjoying the super cool gift store. We later ate our left over treats at our camping spot on the Blue Ridge for dessert. So good!

We were walking around downtown Bryson City and popped in to check out the adjoining store and were immediately greeted with the amazing smells permeating from this place. We ordered a few of their freshly prepared items and they truly hit the spot. Great taste, amazing portion size, and great value for our money! If you have the chance while visiting this quaint town, I would highly recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite and a cuppa!Bonus points, they have a children’s play area that kept our kiddos entertained while we enjoyed our treats!Kid-friendliness: As mentioned in the above review, they have a great nook for kids to play while the parents relax with their treats.

WHOA!!! This place was AMAZING!! Came on Saturday for a coffee and dessert. Ended up coming back on Sunday for breakfast, coffee and dessert and it did not disappoint! They were out of the normal bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich so they made me one on a buttery croissant which was probably the best breakfast sandwich of my life! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. My buddy is highly allergic to nuts so they completely sanitized their coffee machine to insure no cross contamination so he could have a coffee and guided him to nut free breakfast options. Friend didn’t die so I Highly recommend! I hope to stop by again soon!!

My recent visit to Bryson Bakery left me with mixed feelings, as the experience had its highlights and disappointments.**Ambiance:**Nestled in the heart of our community, Bryson Bakery exudes a charming vibe that instantly draws you in. The shop is adorned with local memorabilia, adding a nostalgic touch to the atmosphere. It's a welcoming space where patrons can immerse themselves in the spirit of the neighborhood.**Baked Goods:**Bryson Bakery truly shines when it comes to their baked goodies. From flaky pastries to indulgent cakes, every bite bursts with flavor and freshness. The selection is extensive, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. Their commitment to quality ingredients and skilled craftsmanship is evident in every mouthwatering treat.**Beverages:**Unfortunately, the same level of excellence doesn't extend to the beverages. The coffee fell short of expectations, lacking the boldness and richness that coffee enthusiasts crave. Additionally, the matcha was disappointing, lacking the robust flavor and depth that characterizes quality matcha beverages. Improvement in the beverage department would elevate the overall dining experience.**Entertainment and Atmosphere:**Bryson Bakery excels in providing a family-friendly environment. The entertainment area for young kids is a thoughtful addition, keeping the little ones engaged and entertained while parents indulge in delicious treats. It's a place where families can come together and create cherished memories.**Conclusion:**In conclusion, Bryson Bakery is a delightful addition to our community, offering a wide array of delectable baked goods in a charming setting filled with local charm. While the beverages may need some refinement, the overall experience is elevated by the warm atmosphere and family-friendly amenities. Whether you're craving a sweet indulgence or simply seeking a cozy spot to unwind, Bryson Bakery is worth a visit.

This place is wonderful! Great coffee and baked goods. As a parent this place was perfect since they had activities for kids while I actually got to drink my coffee! That being said, the kid area was small enough that it wasn't disruptive to other adult patrons. The attached store had some unique items as well. Absolutely would recommend and will go every time we visit Bryson City!

Excellent service, excellent food. We had a pecan sticky bun (tasted like a yeasty pecan pie) and an apple galette (mmmmmm). Both were very good. Also had hot chocolate and vanilla latte to drink - also excellent. We will come here again! Come early if you want to get the savory breakfast foods, though.

Seriously?! Went multiple times while visiting and each time was absolutely fantastic. So mad there isn't a place like this where I live. The cafes and bakeries in New York City aren't even as good as this. I NEED this cafe.Things tried:1.Cardamom bun: Omg. Don't think, just do it.2. Raspberry cream pastry: fantastic, moist, tart, flaky and so fresh. Def recommend.3. Apple croissant filled with cream: yesss!!! Looking at it I thought it might be dry but no no no. It was moist and flaky and absolute perfection. The apple flavor was subtle and not overwhelming and the cream was insane. I could eat this over and over.4. Jalapeno cheddar scone: This was the only thing I didn't fall in love with. Texture was more like a biscuit and the jalapeno cheddar flavor was so subtle I could barely taste it. Felt more like eating a plain biscuit.5. Cinnamon bun: I didn't try this but my friend ordered it and said it was fantastic and it had a very generous helping of frosting, yum!6. Butternut asiago pizza slice: YES!!!!! I was waiting in line looking for something savory to go with the sweet and while I was standing there this was put fresh on the display and I got so exicted. I could bathe in this pizza! While i was eating it, one of the ladies who worked there realized I didn't receive the onion chutney to put atop it and came over and gave it to me and explained that she wanted me to taste it to the fullest of its perfection. I mean, for someone to care that much that she was concerned and brought out the chutney to me on her own accord.... you know this place is filled with ppl who truly take pride in what they are creating.7. Pumpkin bread pudding: I mean, bread pudding is just freaking awesome in general and I have never once seen it served as a regular bakery item so I was excited. We chose the pumpkin one cause it looked all gooey and drizzly. It absolutely did not disappoint! One thing that amazes me about everything we tried is how perfectly baked every single item is. I CANNOT STAND a dry baked good even if its only a little overbaked. They have perfected the art form of perfect baking times on all their items. Only thing that would bring the bread pudding over the top would be a dollop of whipped cream, zomg. 😍 My friend said that this pumpkin bread pudding was her favorite of everything we tried, along with the butternut Asiago pizza slice.7. Pumpkin foam cold brew: okay, so I almost didn't order this because let's be honest, every time you get anything pumpkin spice flavor it ranges anywhere from mediocre and synthetic to absolutely disgusting. But, I noticed after my 2nd time visiting that lots of MEN were ordering this pumpkin spice cold brew, and I figured that if out of everyone the men were even drinking it, it must be legit. So I dove in and ordered a large pumpkin spice foam cold brew and let me explain to you right now that this stuff needs to just be put straight up on an IV feed because it's that good. The texture and creaminess of the foam was amazing and the FLAVOR. I don't know what they put in it that it tastes that genuine and fresh...I was blown away. Furthermore, I drank it slowly over the course of 2 hours and it was good up until the end. The foam stayed fresh and didn't disintegrate into the cold brew, or worse separate out. Order this and don't think twice, you won't be disappointed.Regrets:- I said "I'll get that stuffed almond croissant tomorrow"...but when tomorrow came around it was sold out by the time I got there. I am still dreaming about that thing. *cries*-Morning bun I think it was called...topped with cinnamon sugar. I had already ordered so much I decided not to get it but in retrospect I couldve just taken it home with me. It looked amazing and I want to try to next time (I sincerely hope there is a next time!)My dream is to live even remotely near a place this amazing and high quality, with a passion for respecting the classics while bringing innovative twists and creations to their customers as well. Bravo, standing ovation... you guys rock! 🤘

Super cool coffee shop and bakery in the heart of Bryson City. Has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and offers plenty of coffee and bakery treats. It is connected to a gift shop that offers nice kid toys and other souvenir items. Staff was very friendly, and restrooms were very clean! Will definitely be back to visit!

We had a 4-year-old grandson in tow on this visit. This place is PERFECT for him. There are play areas with trains and play kitchens he really loved. The place was busy and there was a line, but the tyke didn't mind because he was running trains and cooking gourmet meals. This bakery doubles as a gift shop and toy store. The toys for sale are authentic thoughtful learning tools. The coffee shop decor was well done. The coffee was fine. So was my scone. My wife's pastry was a bit burned and crusty. I knocked a star for that slight disappointment. We would definitely come back next time we come through Bryson city.Kid-friendliness: This coffee shop also has a cool play area and a toy store built right in!

Passing through and stopped in for pastry and coffee! GLAD WE DID! Atmosphere was fun with the small eclectic, kid friendly store and re-purposed door snugs! Too cool! I had a raspberry & cheese puf-pastry. Awesome!

Wow this is a nice shop! They have books, educational toys, trinkets and so much more. Take a look at the picture I posted. While we were there we went to the bakery and coffee side of the store and ordered coffees and blueberry bread pudding. Oh my goodness, it was delicious!

Making our way into Bryson to go to our favorite coffee shop we stumbled into finding another local coffee and frankly not the best choice compared to the others.. after waiting at the counter for a few minutes to an employee eating at the table we finally received customer service! The coffee so so the pastry pretty decent.. lot of potential for improvement great atmosphere that needs better energy.

Came here by chance just by walking in downtown Bryson city. We were here for new years and my wife loves coffee so we came across this place and it didn't disappoint. The only thing that bummed me out was the fact we came on a Sunday and they don't do fried pies on the weekend. Never had one but saw the sign and said that sounded good, but went in and saw the "no fried pies" on Sunday but I ended up getting a pecan cinnamon type of pastry that was delicious and the coffee was the best we had while at Bryson city. This is a DEFINITE GO if you're in the area.

Great food & drinks in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. The pastry are some of the best I have ever tried. However, my favorite is their breakfast sandwich. The bread they use on these sandwiches is baked fresh on site and it’s amazing. I highly recommend trying one.On nice days check out their shaded patio. It’s the perfect place to sip coffee while enjoying the fresh mountain air.Make sure to take a stroll through the marketplace store. There are a lot of unique items for all ages.

Full disclosure I only visited MRKT for the bakery! LolzI must say I was pleasantly surprised by everything else they had to offer. Treats like Tootsie Fruities, Flintstones sugar straws, and Cream savers! It brought me back to when I was younger and would visit the bodega with my mom🙏🏽!Those were the days.Anyways, about the bakery goodies! We got The apple galette, blackberry cream cheese puffs, Oreo-white chocolate cookies and finally some Reese's Cookies. The best one was the blackberry cream cheese puffs hands down! There were berries and cream cheese in every bite and it wasn't the least bit dry!🤤The apple galette was really good too! It's a little bit on the Bready side though. My advice is to warm it up, slice it in half, and eat from the center, outward. You won't be disappointed. The cookies were just cookies. They weren't nasty at all but they weren't mind blowing either.I'll definitely go back! if not for anything else but the nostalgia, but I'm leaving with another black berry cream cheese puff! Or maybe I'll try the raspberry one!🤷🏽‍♂️😍
