Really sad to see how the thrift store has changed since the new opening. If you’re looking for a true thrift store, go elsewhere.I really hate it for the people who think they’re getting something really great for $30-40 because it’s “boutique” when it was LESS than that to buy brand new. I see worn out clothing from brands like Walmart & Old Navy for more than what it is to get it at the actual store. They’re selling people’s recycling. I found empty cold brew coffee & kombucha jars for $8 each when you can get them at the store NEW with the coffee for about the same.& the furniture… you won’t find an affordable deal here. Many of the items are overpriced. (Used merrells for $50. A dirty old Coach bag for $40+… really?) Just because it has a high retail value doesn’t mean it holds the same value used and at a thrift store after donation.

Always our best source of wardrobe when we’re filming nano budget projects. The selection is far above average. Wonderful staff of volunteers. Best of all, proceeds benefit SAFE.

What happened to this store??? So over priced now you can buy new for cheaper. The store used to be filled with cute reasonably priced items, not anymore. Anyone who used to shop here can no longer afford to. Plus splitting up the store makes zero sense!

I miss the old SAFE. The way they have the 2 new stores set up makes no sense. All the clothing should be in one spot and all the the stuff should be in another. What about moms looking for clothing for themselves and then having to go all the way to the other store to look for kid’s clothes and men’s clothes..??Also, so many things are a ridiculous price now. The “boutique” area has items $20++ on items that aren’t even worth that much new. And the home goods are just way too high for a thrift store. Whoever is pricing seems a little misinformed. I feel so bad for the people that don’t realize it and are paying more or about the same for used items compared to getting them new.I would love to keep shopping here but I just don’t think I will now because of the changes and pricing. 😞

Overpriced. I was told they are now a “retail store” not a thrift store (yet all of their items are still donations). Many things are priced really high… even more than what you can get it for brand new or way less on eBay. The pricing makes it hard to support a great, local charity when they’re pricing items the way they do. Many of the people in the community CANNOT afford to pay what they have items priced at. It’s really sad. (i.e. $1 for a used Mason jar without a lid when you can get 12 BRAND new WITH lids for about $14-$15. Or plain, worn out Hanes tshirts for $5 when you can get a whole pack for of 6 for about $20).

Visited their new store (across the parking lot from the old store) and was, quite frankly, disappointed. The way they have stocked these two stores makes absolutely no sense. Why they split the clothing into two different buildings is beyond any sense of reason at all. I visit thrift stores with my husband and the first sting he said was "Where are the men's clothes?". It would have been more logical to keep the furniture and home decor (lamps, etc.) in one place with all the clothing and collectibles in the other. It also seems they've blocked off a large portion of the old store and no longer have the "guy stuff" section. I think they've done themselves a disservice setting up this way. My other complaint is there are WAY too many things NOT FOR SALE 😡. I understand furniture pieces used as fixtures but pillows and wall art? Ridiculous. Will I shop there again? Probably not in this current arrangement. Sadly, this store has gone downhill since it moved from the location below the courthouse. I used to by a LOT of clothing then but now, there's barely a reason to look.

Things certainly have changed in the Attic. The one dollar racks are full of mismatched unwanted women's closing that you can not try on because they removed the dressing rooms. It is obvious they just want to get rid of stuff and their men's clothing still remains at a much higher price. The new set up may be prettier but it certainly seems to cater toward the more affluent members of Brevard's community. Prices for used household items are outrages now and the front of the store is full of totally overpriced "nice" things such as pillows, small furniture and paintings. While some of you may thing $59 for a chair or a used bowl for $8 is a thrift shop bargain this customer can no longer be helped by whatever the Attics Mission may be.

We enjoy shopping here at least 2 times a month when we travel up to Brevard from SC to thrift shop. The volunteers are friendly and helpful and the store and the items for sale are clean and of good value. One of our favorite thrift shops for books, puzzles, games and jewelry.

Store is always well maintained, things are in order, the floor is clean. Items are sorted well by size. Doesn't have the old, musty smell that some thrift stores can carry. Staff is helpful and all proceeds go to a great cause! Support Safe's Attic!
