I like all the vegan options at this store. The cashiers are very nice. The store is clean and parking is easy.

This is a really fantastic market and he's really kind of person that looks for good quality food or ingredients is your only option for like 20 miles. Especially if you have any food limitations as far as allergies or even just being a vegetarian. Very few restaurants in the area even carry vegetarian options. Even the restaurant at this facility doesn't really carry many options prepared. On the plus side this store will has literally anything you could need. And they're all very good quality products. Definitely not the cheapest place but that's normal for stores like this. I wouldn't say they're out of line with other prices we normally see even when we travel to Vermont. The staff is very friendly very helpful and will greet you. Basically this has something for everyone, highly recommend.

I don't shop here as a rule, but my vegetarian daughter loves to go here when she's in town. I'm always excited to go too because of the unique and interesting variety offered here. Nice staff and lots of farm fresh food. Simply a lovely place :)

Nice clean store with lots of vegan options. Friendly cashiers. Would have given a 5 star rating, but I wanted a grilled veggie sub at the café and was told none of the bread options were vegan, but they offered vegan mayo. Please offer vegan bread at your cafe.

One of the rudest establishments I have ever been to. I came in a few months ago when visiting my parents in Brevard and the experience was bad then. No acknowledgement from staff even though I walked around a good 40 minutes. Cashier spoke at a decibel I couldn’t hear, but I assumed she said hello. However, I went this past Saturday to see if I could get a bouquet of flowers, much like they have at most grocery stores like Ingle’s or Trader Joe’s, even though the pickings are minimal due to the season. I politely asked a stock person, tall male, medium to thick build with black hair and a bowl cut, working in frozen foods, if they had flowers, explaining clearly I was looking for bouquets or single stems of some sort I could put together. Had he actively listened he would have understood what I was asking, but instead he said, “come with me”. He proceeded to walk me all the way from frozen food to a window that led outside to a patio, pointed, and said “see, um, no, we don’t have flowers”, to which I said “oh, this is where you would keep them?” He didn’t answer but instead, as he was turning to go back to his frozen foods, said “come back in the spring”. It didn’t dawn at me in the moment he was being an intentional a**hole, as I was on a mission to get these flowers for my parents anniversary. Then as I walked outside, got in my car and drove off, I thought to myself “was he being a smarta**?” I realized, yes, in fact, he was. A smart** is one thing, a misinformed smarta** is another. Had he listened, instead of being mad I interrupted his stocking of shredded cheese, he would have understood I was asking for, as I know there won’t be plants or planting flowers this time of year…..We live in a world of minimal customer service nowadays and I’ve adapted. However, egregious intentional rude behavior is unacceptable. Clearly management accepts this type of behavior, as I can’t imagine with his lack of manners this is his first unnecessary interaction with a customer. What a little jerk. I hope you get better Food Matters. Of course, it won’t matter to me, as I won’t be back.

Great variety of health conscious, fresh food and home goods. Wonderful little café and a comfortable seating area to enjoy your food can be found on the second floor.

Returned for more Salmon and Mahi tuna filets. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Salmon filets were out of this world on the grill! This will be an annual tradition every time we're in Brevard!

Have items you can't find anywhere else. But prices are high. They have some items you can get much cheaper elsewhere. Clean store.

Excellent. Please don't go here it's my secret! You can eat lunch up stairs inside even during covid. It's open airy and never more than one or two people there.

Spent way too much money here, but so many great products. Super friendly employees. The only thing is that another customer and I both saw a big rat scurry it's way to the meat department. I notified the employee behind the counter and he did seem concerned about it.

If you have food intolerance or a strict diet this is the place for you! As always with these types of food, it can be a bit pricey. Great deli!

Good variety of quality products including local beers. Has decent variety of special diet products like vegan or gluten free items. Deli offers fresh made meal options. Helpful, fiendly staff. Has covered eating space outdoors plus also seating available upstairs in an area available for small group meetings. Very little of non edible or drinkable stuffs here because Food Matters. No junk food here!

This is an honest review. The vegetables and fruits are dehydrated and unloved. Some of it is rotting. The beef is brown and some of it frozen, yes at the meat counter. The inventory is inconsistent. If you find your product once, you may never see it again. I asked a worker about this. He told me to contact so-n-so, offered me no phone number, no paper to leave my request upon, and certainly did not offer to relay the message in my stead. The beer selection needs help. The employees have no joy in their work, and are unaware of the vision, IF in fact there is a vision.Very sad … the need is great for their services in the area. The potential is unlimited. They are falling short.

Lots of organic produce we cant find in Winston. Along with many new brand's I was unfamiliar with (but wanted to try) and vegan products. This store has all the standard fare but I would shop here primarily if we had one close.

Come here if you're looking for great quality and/or unusual ingredients you can't find in regular grocery stores. They also have a great selection of high quality meat. But it can be a little pricey on some products compared to other comparable food markets. But what really sets it off from the rest is that they have a beautiful outdoor seating area to have a lovely relaxing lunch or supper. Loved that! Especially after completing a hike to one of the surrounding waterfalls.

Great healthy food store and deli. I enjoyed the upstairs eating area very much. Quaint and small yet good variety. Need to stop here after a visit into pisgah. Stopped by today after being hired to guide a trip on the grave yard fields loop trail for an older couple who wanted a little outdoor adventure today! Great day.

Fresh sandwiches made while you wait. Pasta salads, homemade soups and breads. IIRC, there are tables upstairs and outside where you can sit down and eat. Or you can take these things home with you. Fresh local meats and cheese. Various pastas. A lot of vegetarian faire. I have picked up house made meatballs and specialty burgers. All very good.

I visit this store for their plethora of gluten free and other allergen free items. They have so much to choose from. Prices are a little higher than other stores but there are often great sales.

This market was a happy surprise on vacation ... very clean with a friendly staff...two young ladies went out of their way to help me. Thank you! Great grocery store is great for those who want healthy options too. The café has gluten/vegan options and there are tables upstairs and outside for eating.

What a great find! Affordable version of Whole Foods with an amazing deli… best Ruben sandwich I’ve had in a very long time! It’s worth the trip from Asheville to shop here for the meats and honey alone. I’ll start shopping here!

If you are heath food person, then this is the place for you. Lots of organic items and a wonderful, pricey, deli. The deli food is excellent. My favorite is the potato soup. A community-minded venue that offers free meeting space on the upper level. That area has a fun view of the store below. Parking great. Free, outdoor entertainment during the few months of good weather.

If you're looking for a scaled down version of Whole Foods in Brevard, this is your place. It's a great market with many, many options for all the various diets. My only complaint might be the prices, which on some things (such as fresh beef) are super high. But all in all, a very friendly spot to buy your natural and organic foods!

Great location. Kind of a small and more personable version of Whole Foods.
