I shop Food Lion every week. The fresh produce is generally good, but you need to pick and choose for whatever is the freshest. The selection of fresh meat is the same pick and choose … check the expiration dates. The deli staff are very accommodating and professional workers. Plenty to choose from and the prices are often economical.

Shopping for staples and store prices are competitive and employees are welcoming. Butcher shop has some good choices and occasionally drops prices on some items.

This place I walked out of because only 2 lanes open and both with 6 place in line. Place is super clean but long lines. I just walked out went into Ingles and was out in moments flat and the place was packed. Wasted a lot of my time since I only had a little bit of time to get what I needed.

In comparing grocery stores in Brevard, Food Lion rises above the others in virtually every category: Parking, wheelchair accessible, orderly, easy to find inventory, friendly, helpful staff, probably the most clean restrooms of any major chain, & the big one- PRICE/SAVINGS. They are consistently lower priced than their main competitor across the street, Ingles, in every department, particularly produce, frozen, & meat. They may not have a Starbucks, pharmacy, or a hot deli, but I'll happily trade all that for the savings & convenience.

Nice, clean store. Not very big, but still good selection. Food lion often has great sales. Good selection of gluten free items. Produce is often sparce. Nice, clean bathrooms. Good parking. Most of the cashiers I've encountered are really nice and helpful. Never takes long to get in and out. I really enjoy shopping here.

This is one of my favourite grocery stores in town. The store is always clean and stocked and there are always enough employees to check you out which is kind of rare these days. It’s hard to beat the prices as well.

I don't shop this store often. Aisles are well marked... I found everything I was looking for easily. Employees were pleasant. Selection sufficient. Prices were great. All in a place small enough that I didn't need to walk endless miles for what I needed.

Prices are the best in town. The majority of the staff are friendly and professional. Unfortunately this is the worst stocked grocery store I have ever been in. They never have all the items I'm looking for or items in their sales flyer.

This smaller hometown grocery store has wonderful staff and just kept wonderfully clean. The deli meats are fresh, tasty and affordable. The prices are fair. They have a little bit of everything that one might want or need. Shop there. Don't forget the little guys need patrons too.

The store was clean and many of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the manager Carla, was downright terrible!!! I bought toilet paper here and it was “in the wrong place”. The label underneath the Quilted Northern paper said $9.99 (for 12 rolls- a fair price), I bought two. When I got home and reviewed my receipt, they had charged me $15 each, so I spend $30 on toilet paper for one person. I never took it out of the car and went back the very next day to return it. Because of COVID she said they couldn’t accept the return. OK, I can understand that. But she did not offer to rectify the situation at all with a credit or more paper, nothing. Stating that “customers” must have moved the toilet paper around. There was no other paper on the aisle and they were perfectly stacked and in a row. Clearly- they were intentionally put there.I could even live with this.What I find entirely unacceptable, is that she just walked away during our conversation, leaving the poor girl at the checkout all alone.She had someone go check The aisle and they said there was no paper at $9.99. WRONG! I took a picture and went back up to show them when I was checking out. So I was talking again with Carla at checkout, and what did she do?? Nothing!! I tried to show her the picture and it was fuzzy— and she walked away, AGAIN!! She was absolutely awful and my family and friends and I will not be going back to this store. The service from Carla was absolutely awful.

Quick check out. Selection of Good beer was minimal. Lots of beers that college students would buy 😊. We are from out of town. Hardly anyone wearing masks. This is quite different from our Triangle area... even with our high vaccine rate. Glad Food Lion is here while we are on vacation.

The store is clean, good variety of foods, the staff is awesome. My complaint is general layout and signage of the store. The isles are purposely crooked so you have to go down the whole isle to search for what you need! The signs are at each end and are different at both ends--very aggravating.

I like shopping here during Covid because it's much less crowded than Ingles. The checkers are always friendly, usually properly masked, and my groceries are bagged well. The selection isn't great, but if you don't need anything fancy, it's fine.

Great store, & a welcome break from the Walmart/Ingles grocery monopoly that seems to be the norm in this area. Hands down the lowest produce prices in town. They either beat the competition's price, or are at least competitive in every other department. Only gripe I would have is limited selection in a few areas (cosmetics, supplements, etc).

Bought some steak and Gatorade, Elizabeth asked if I had a rewards card, I said no and asked her if I could enroll, she said that’s ok which was meant to understand that she applied the discount anyways since most of these loyalty programs are obsolete, rung me up and found out the discount wasn’t applied, in effect she overcharged me $2.65. Called the store to bring it to their attention, and zero cares were given. My first and last time shopping at food lion. Can’t wait for the Aldi to open up!

I know they're trying, but Food Lion is failing the pandemic test. The other day I went in for lemons and strawberries. They had neither. Shelves stripped bare are common. Granted, these are challenging times. But some stores have been able to keep their shelves stocked better than others. And in Brevard, Food Lion and Walmart have flunked the test.

Friday July 17, 2020. Around lunchtime. Teams of employees, many with ladders swapping out 4' fluorescent tubes throughout store. Store very busy. Two checkouts. A fairly long line at each. Optics? Uh, bad, besides being very hazardous. Who's in charge of this store? Based on earlier review, must be Carla. This review is for corporate and patrons to watch for poor mgmt signals. No complaints with staff, usually on point. UPDATE. Dec 23, 2020. Wife just came back from shopping here. She's done shopping at this FL. Must have changed managers or something. The store lacks stock. What is this? Poland? Our grocery stores need to have readily available stock. Zero spiraled sliced ham. No chex cereal, I could go on and on. Bye FL won't be buying product from you. Hendersonville isn't that far away. Ingles is nearby, Grocery Outlet, BI-LO are here and guess what FL, Aldi is coming soon. Better tighten up. You ain't all that and the competition loves screw ups. .
