Dr. Garland is wonderful! She currently sees both my dog and cat. She is kind, very personable, and knowledgeable. My dog, who tends to be shy, does very well with her. Brevard Animal Hospital has always taken care of all my pets and I have never been displeased with them.

Our 16-year old cat Turkleton had decided never to go to a vet again (he tried to hurt our local vet) so our choice was euthanasia or Brevard Animal Hospital. Lucky for us, Ruby knew how to make a kitty burrito and to calm him down enough to be treated for hyperthyroidism which had been making him wild. Now his medication still might need adjustment but his life is renewed and we are so grateful!

My dog was involved in a dog fight that left her with some injuries. I was absolutely panicked and Brevard Animal Hospital put me at ease. They took my dog immediately and treated her with the absolute top of the line care. They were gentle, kind, empathetic, and very professional. They were very reasonably priced and also upfront and honest about the treatment costs and options. They did not try to upsell anything or add any kind of unnecessary treatments. The hospital is very clean and organized. Every staff member I encountered were very kind and happy. The doctor was very thorough and knowledgeable. They called me a couple of days later to check on my dogs progress. Which is above and beyond standard of care. I am so thankful I found them. If your looking for a good honest vet, this is your place!

Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The succor and all the techs were patient with both me and Stella. As a first time puppy mom I had tons of questions and each one was answered thoroughly without me feeling rushed at all.

Recently moved to the area and read the reviews. Decided to give the practice a try. The staff is kind, nurturing, knowledgeable and super friendly. We started out with a stray puppy that was abandoned on our property. She had hurt her leg. The vet was so kind and understood we kinda fell into this situation with the pup. The pup had been back twice and we head back again this week. Each visit they go way above providing exceptional care. We have now brought our old boy in and they will become our primary care for all of our fur babies. By the way. We fell in love with the pup. She is part of our family.

The appointment happened in a timely manner once I arrived. The vet tech was very kind and made Penelope and I both feel welcome and safe. The vet was very kind and knowledgeable and helped me feel at ease with Penelope's diagnosis which I also received very quickly. Very happy with our experience.

They were able to get me right in, thoroughly examined my puppy, diagnosed the problem, gave me meds, and we were on our way. Very pleasant and compassionate people. My pup was back to normal by the next day. My only issue was that I didn’t call sooner.

Date of Visit - 03/04/2024I am compelled to share our recent experience which left us feeling more than just dissatisfied — we felt genuinely distressed and misled.During a routine visit for our beloved bulldog, we were confronted with a heart-wrenching scare: a positive heartworm test result. The fear and anxiety that gripped us in those moments were overwhelming. However, what transpired next turned our concern into disbelief and disappointment.After delivering the shocking news, the staff casually mentioned that their testing machine had a history of producing false positives. This revelation left us dumbfounded. We couldn't understand why a practice would continue to use a faulty machine, knowing the emotional turmoil it could cause pet owners — not to mention the potential for unnecessary and costly treatments.This situation has led us to question the motivations behind their practices. It seems that there's a prioritization of profit over the genuine well-being and care of the pets they're entrusted to look after. To say this is disheartening would be an understatement; it shakes the very foundation of trust we should have in our veterinary care providers.We are sharing our story not out of spite but in hope that it brings to light the importance of transparency, ethical practices, and genuine care in the veterinary industry. No pet owner should have to go through the unnecessary stress and fear we experienced, especially when it stems from questionable business practices.We strongly urge Brevard Animal Hospital to reassess their procedures and equipment to ensure that no other family has to endure what we did. As for fellow pet owners, we recommend asking thorough questions about any tests, their necessity, and the reliability of the equipment used.Upon getting a second opinion with another local vet our bull dog is in great health and no indications of heart worms.

They were so wonderful to me after my dog passed away at the emergency hospital recently. They even sent me a sympathy card and made a donation to The Flower fund. They also helped me out by using the flower fund to decrease my bill there before going to the emergency hospital.

I thought long and hard about where to take my geriatric kitty when I moved back to NC from NM. She's got multiple health conditions, and I wanted a compassionate practice with everything under one roof for fast diagnostics. I read a ton of reviews and decided on BAH and Dr. Garland. I was so happy with my choice! Dr. Garland is a very attentive listener, I never felt rushed, and tech Rachel and everyone else handled both Annie and myself with kindness, patience, and gentleness. Appt. was right on time, and Dr. G. was thoughtful enough to phone me later since we didn't get to talk after the bloodwork results came back. Relieved and grateful to have entrusted Annie's senior years medical care to such a dedicated practice (and the fees were unexpectedly reasonable, which was also a delight.)

Super nice people very competent, veterinary service!Our dog got an ear infection while on vacation and this veterinary office was recommended to us from another veterinary office. Thankfully they were able to work us in the same day we called. Everyone from the front desk folks, to the vet tech/nurse, and the doctor, were super friendly, and made us feel right at home. I took my sick cat as a new patient to BAH and found them to be very welcoming, caring, compassionate and thorough in the treatment to improve Ash's condition. I thought their range of treatment was more extensive than another vet I have been using so I may switch to them after this experience. Would highly recommend..
