We were so happy to find this gem! The views were some of the best we’ve ever experienced! So many amenities! The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was so well stocked, and there were so many fun things to do on-site (jacuzzi, video arcade machine, smart tv, fire pit, views for days)!!! Pet friendly! Our little family were so sad to leave! We enjoyed everything the cabin and views offered! Perfect cabin home for a wonderful vacation!!

What a beautiful cabin we rented from Green Mountain Cabin Rentals to visit our family in Murphy, NC. My wife and daughter loved the Art and Cherokee museum in Downtown Murphy. We absolutely loved the hot tub and fire pit. We enjoyed s’mores over the fire pit. The only thing that was difficult was the gravel road into the development it was really rough.

My husband and I rented a cabin in the mountains of Murphy, North Carolina and we had the best 3 days ever! The cabin was immaculate and the customer service was on point! We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit on the screened in porch. We cannot wait to go back!

This cabin is awesome. Amazing view of the river flowing through the backyard, clean home with fireplace, a very well appointed kitchen and very comfortable. Loved sitting at the fire-pit listening to the water. Long paved road to get to the cabin but well worth it. If we returned to this area we would definitely stay here again

We had a fantastic weekend! It was so peaceful! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. They had extra large towels! We saw deer every day of our stay! I’ll definitely go back!

This home's views were equally unique and beautiful. It was a nice complement to the privacy and amenities. The place was spotless, everything worked, and it was more than equipped for our large family. I appreciate that it was kid-friendly and comfortable and had several spaces (outdoors and indoors) for you to retreat when necessary. Definitely adding to our list for a return trip. Also really liked the town of Murphy (and Andrews). Don't miss Murphy's Chophouse, Crafted Dough, or the River Walk. Lots to see and do within driving distance. We didn't go outside of a 30-mile radius and had a week full of activities.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The views from the cabin were beautiful from every room in the house. From sitting in the rocking chairs on the side porch, having coffee in the morning... to sitting in the hottub on the back porch, watching the stars at night. The cabin is fully stocked with all the amenities you could need. The appliances are new and easy to use.I have insomnia, however I had no trouble sleeping, the beds are incredible. My dad even committed on how comfortable his bed was.It was so peaceful, we saw a family of deer in the evenings and in the morning. They would come out of the woods and eat. It was amazing to watch. There is a swing in a gazebo next to the fire pit, here you can sit and swing and look out over the mountains, (at the back side of the cabin.) One of the most amazing things about this cabin is that there is an incredible view from both sides of the cabin. Everyday it looked as if you were looking at a new canvas that God had just painted. Thank you. We truly enjoyed our stay. Definitely would stay here again. If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to get away from your busy life. Here it is. The hosts were awesome, the place was incredible. I would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend this to all my friends.

What an amazing cabin! The pictures online did not do this place justice. Everything that was listed about this cabin was 100% accurate and then some. The view is second to none, as shown on the attached pictures. The lake on the property is a bonus, especially if you like to fish like we do. There is even a little paddle boat that you can take out on the lake. The beds were so comfortable and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. It was about 30 minutes from Murphy, NC. My only advice would be to make sure you have an AWD or 4WD vehicle as the driveway going up to the cabin is steep (of course this is coming from a guy from NW Ohio). The rental company was amazing to work with. They answered all my questions and checked in on us while we were there. I would definitely rent from them again! 5-star company!!

We spent Christmas at a cabin in Murphy, NC and it was beautiful. There was a Christmas tree set up for us. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy and our dogs had a good time as well.

Blue Moon CabinWe absolutely loved staying at the Blue Moon Cabin! Everything was just perfect. The view was stunning, the cabin was cozy and decorated so cute for fall, the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind, and the various sitting areas allowed for the relaxing moments we needed. We enjoyed the great Smoky Mountain scenic railroad ride and our time in Murphy, Bryson City, Dillsboro Waynesville, Franklin, and McCaysville. Going back to reality is going to be hard (LOL), but having this time to renew, recharge, reset and refresh pushes us back with smiles and a content heart. We look forward to coming back and will share the Blue Moon Cabin with others. Thank you!

Highly recommend for anyone! We had a much needed week of relaxation and family time. The cabin was clean and wonderful and the view was breathtaking! We enjoyed sitting around the balcony, swimming, fishing, the hot tub, and playing corn hole! We ate nearly every meal on our balcony overlooking the river! We will definitely be back!

This cabin was just as beautiful as described on the Web site. Nice single floor home. Livingroom had electric reclining sofa and chairs. Screened porch was very cool in the middle of summer and so pleasant for coffee and reading in the early mornings. Bullfrogs croaking in the small pond. Hearing deer as they make their way through the yard. Neighbor's dog greeted us just about each day. I'd love to return soon.

House was clean, well stocked with necessities, and provided a perfect home away from home. Property manager was responsive. Perfect location to historic Hayesville and Hiawassee. So much to do in the area, but was nice to have the pool, game room, and grill area for a few lazy days around the house. Will definitely be staying here again.

This is absolutely the best cabin EVER!! An amazing location, completely private, peaceful, and truly perfect! Three stories with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor, 2 gas fireplaces inside, a gas fire table on the top deck (did I mention there are 2 huge decks!!) Along with a telescope to view the mountains or to look at the stars⭐A hot tube that is perfect for relaxing in the evening or even in the morning, which in the fall it faces the sunrise, and man you have not lived till you start your day with a hot cup of coffee, in the hot tub while it's 45degrees, watching the sunrise!! There is also a pool table and movie theater for rainy days, or even "just because we can" days 😉 The kitchen has everything you need, and all great quality, you can tell these owners truly love their home. They have really thought out every last detail, and it's obvious they want their guests to enjoy their home as well!! The furniture, decorations, every detail - truly an AMAZING CABIN!! We can't wait to return and have been telling all our friends about how much we loved it!!!

We had a wonderfully relaxing time staying at the Rocky Mountain High cabin! We celebrated our first wedding anniversary and some career accomplishments by getting away for a week in the North Carolina mountains. We were so thankful that our dogs were able to come with us to celebrate and that some family and friends could stay with us. The views were amazing and the jacuzzi, fireplace, and large bathtub were so cozy. Thank you so much for allowing us to spend time in this mountain getaway! Such a beautiful cabin, my wife and I took a 4 day mini vacation, we normally head to the beach but this time we tried something different. I must say we were 100% satisfied with everything. We booked a Whitewater rafting on the Ococee TN River so after a amazing day of adventure and fun it was sure nice to come back and soak in the hot tub. The cabin is very beautiful inside and out and yes there is a friendly husky (neighbor dog) that will great you. My wife about jumped as she stepped out of the vehicle thinking it was a wolf. The cabin has everything you basically need; a nice outdoor firepit, a very nice Aspen Spa hot tub and a nice Oriflame gas firepit on the screen porch. We are planning on taking a longer vacation next month with the girls this time and already looking to re book.. The cabin is nicely located, 1 hour to Whitewater rafting on Ococee River, ziplining through the canopy of Cherokee Forest, a must see waterfall-Helton Falls south of Blairsville GA or an hour and 45 min to Gatlinburg TN. Again absolutely amazing and the temperature was great in the morning mid to high 50's and day low 80's and no humidity which is much different at home with temperatures above 100 and very humid.

Cute place but lacked practical things. No central heat or cooling. To get the bedroom warm the living room was very hot. The shower is a 1/4 circle. I’m 5”2’ and i could not bend over to wash my legs and feet. The bed was comfortable. A tv in the bedroom would have been nice. Location was good. I was there for Class at the Campbell folk school. It was clean and the kitchen was stocked well.

We had the most relaxing week at Running Waters cabin. Cabin was comfortable and well-equipped, beds were comfortable, views are amazing. The drive is not steep, cabin was very accessible and close to grocery store and small restaurants, the area is very quiet and the sounds of the river are so calming. The location is so convenient to all things for a getaway in the mountains. We will definitely go back.

This is by far the best rental I’ve stayed in! It was extra clean and so cozy. They even decorated for Christmas! The cabin has all the essentials and is so nicely furnished. We were only 2 adults and 2 dogs, but there is so much space. It’s perfect for a large family or group traveling together. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay. We were able to hike, tube, play at a lake, and so much more. The cabin was located close to nearby shops which made it easy to run into town for things. The cabin was well maintained, had everything we needed and was super clean. Wonderful experience and the property manager was fantastic with booking!

I’ve stayed in six short-term rentals in the last two years between Sylva and Murphy and this one was my favorite, by far. The neighborhood is great, but quiet. It’s easy to get to, yet secluded. The grocery store is just twelve minutes away. Deer roam everywhere, the view is nice, and I love the floor plan of the house. It was very clean, seemed brand new. I plan to stay here again in the future.

The Perfect View home is just beautiful and has everything you need. It was so wonderful to be in such a peaceful place after going through Hurricane Ian. Not too far to enjoy some beautiful hikes and waterfalls. We will definitely come back.

Perfect place to spend a couple days away. This cabin had everything you could possibly need. Everything needed to cook with, games, puzzles, hot tub and outdoor space, I saw a yoga mat by the front door, binoculars and a telescope, dog toys, you name it… I was impressed! It rained almost non stop on us but we finally got a good glimpse of the view in the last day. Gorgeous! I would definitely stay here again.

Are you looking far a quiet mountain getaway with very scenic surroundings and a river to sit by? IF that's what you are looking for, then consider this Riverside Retreat the we call the "Red Plaid Cabin". It's near Murphy, NC and close to waterfalls, hiking trails, river walks, lakes and mountains.If you use Waze or other GPS to Navigate there, you will exit HWY 60 onto a narrow rough road that leads into a maintained gravel road leading to the cabin. the cabin is located about 2 miles from the highway and you may get the initial idea that you have made a wrong turn. Fear not, this is actually a feature that gives you the peaceful quiet only found in the "woods". Close to the end of the road you will see the first home on your left and then another etc. I think there are only 7+/- homes/cabins in this small development. there is an ample driveway to the cabin and you will see the Red Door you saw in the description picture in the rental add.Oh and the rental agency was top notch with sending confirmations, info and arrival instructions. They made contact to see how things were and if we needed anything. Very quick responses to any inquiries. We were very pleased with that experience.Now about the cabin. It is very clean and cozy. Washer and dryer and a kitchen so well equipped that you could fix a Thanksgiving dinner with the more than adequate utensils and appliances. Not a large kitchen, but big enough. From the kitchen you have a round table with 4 chairs, then the nice Red and Black plaid carpet (hence our nickname) a 3 seat leather couch and a leather easy chair, coffee table and large HDTV, stone fireplace and a view of the large covered porch and river. that big covered porch had a large picnic style table and 3 burner propane grill with side burner. Some Adirondack stack chairs that we took to the firepit near the river. Great place to relax and enjoy the view and nature.Bedroom one had a comfortable King bed with a Red and Black (yep) comforter. Another HDTV and full bath. We didn't use the second bedroom with the 2 single beds. Another full bath was adjacent to that bedroom.Cozy, clean and welcoming place to enjoy. We ventured out each day and enjoyed the area. We can definitely endorse the rental and their agency. If you want to be near the "action", rent a hotel. If you want a retreat and comfortable beautiful place, rent this one.
