This store was clean and well stocked. It is the first Lowes foods that I have been at with a bar inside. They have a number of beers on draft. They have tables and chairs where you can sit to enjoy your beverage. Right across from the bar is their wine and beer department. Their produce department looked fresh and well stocked. Staff was friendly and willing to help. There is a red box.

I am from NJ, but was visiting family in Boone. I had to stock up on my North Carolina wines, so we went to Lowes. I feel like their wine section used to be bigger than what it is now. There was a friendly cashier who directed me to the right area. Then, there was a nice man in the wine dept. who really took time to explain the different wineries and their dining options. I forgot that people are so nice there. The store was clean and organized. Next time I'm in Boone, I'll be back.

My son purchased Valentine’s gifts for his ASU girlfriend (long distance relationship) & Lowes to Go delivered!!! You have come to his rescue 2 years in a row!! This year was amazing! Dozen roses, custom sugar cookie cake, and pink inflated balloons all delivered to her apt. The shopper even called us to say everything in our order was available and peace of mind.

One of the nicest grocery stores in Boone, but not overpriced like Publix. If it’s out of your way it’s worth the time. The sausage in the meat department is awesome.

Large selection of unique foods, produce and drinks. Atmosphere is much more welcoming than typical grocery stores. The card readers make the sound of a Turkey gobbling when instructing you to pull it out.

We were very disappointed. We were getting some food for a quick diner. The hot food section, had very like warm food,( I was given a few items to try). So I went back to get a hot sandwich. The two young fellows working the counter, could only deal with one food item at a time. So this caused a very slow line of three ppl. We did not eat together, because the sandwiches could not be prepared even closely. It's was a snails pace. Extremely different than the lunch time efficient times.

Excellent experience here, staff super friendly and helpful! And to those that are into buying local. This is a locally owned Business, unlike other chains in Boone NC. P. S be sure to get your saver card!! Took me 30 seconds at checkout. Save alot and no personal information needed.

Employees are ridiculous. Let the line build up and build up. I’m waiting in line to checkout for over 10 minutes for 2 items. With employees standing there staring at you, not helping (Maddox). And then they try to tell me that 3 apples are 2lbs. Tried to charge me $7 for 3 apples…. Then when I say “there’s no way that’s right” the manager Tabitha comes over and takes over 5 minutes typing on the computer just to tell me the same thing. What should have taken less than 5 minutes took me over 20 because of slow and unhelpful staff. Do better.

I’m a loyal customer here about 20 years. But I feel so disappointed about the seafood quality today. I bought two lobster tails this evening and cooked it for dinner. One of the lobster smells so bad I don’t even brave enough to eat it. As you can see from the pictures. The color is not fresh at all.

The shopping experience itself was fine, staff always friendly and helpful. Store always clean. Best salad bar in town. But who can afford to shop here??? I quit shopping here MANY years ago because of this very reason. I would not have stopped in their Thursday had it not been for the fact my child was sick and I had to rush home and this is the closest store to my house. I know the prices of everything is outrageous everywhere right now BUT this is ridiculous. A few things I observed: Avacados $3.49 EACH, I get them at a competitor for $.89, I can get a bag of 5 for $3.99. Bag of shredded lettuce $3.29 i believe, i get at a competitor for $1.19. I was on the hunt for some good apple cider $9.99 a gallon for regular ole apple cider, the good apple cider $10.99 & $12.99 a gallon... WHAT???? WHY??? I had no choice to buy a pack of hamburger meat because I needed it for what I was making $10.99 i buy a 10lb log at a competitor for just over $20. I left with 3 bags of groceries for $86.87.... absolutely ridiculous. Do better Lowes

I like the beer station, but it sometimes feels more like a dive bar when you walk in, so loud and rowdy, cussing, yelling, can hear it through whole store, especially loud in produce. Maybe fewer drink specials that encourage people just to drink not shop, so it becomes less of a hangout and more of a service for shoppers. Also bathrooms really nasty.

Nice clean place and friendly. Great selections of meat, fish, shrimp, etc... butcher very helpful and friendly. I purchased a whole ham shoulder, and he told me he would slice it up for me, and he did it within a few minutes.

This is a great store for all your everyday cooking needs. Everyone here treats others with great respect and kindness. Sarah, one of the many great managers, is super kind and is very willing and helpful.The Lowe's Foods community gives not only to the guests but to the schools and charities.I can't wait to be part of their team!I am writing this not as a host, but as a guest.

Lowe's foods in Boone is our favorite grocery store. The staff is kind and helpful, the store is clean and has a great variety of products and we love that it is a local NC based company! They treat their staff great too and it shows! Prices are comparable to other regional grocery stores but with much better service and cleaner stores.

A+++++. Fantastic store. Very friendly staff and very clean store. This store offers so much. It's absolutely fabulous. Beautiful setup inside and awesome presentation. My only advise as a tourist in town is 3 things: One, to perhaps make the exterior, front of the store pop so to speak or dazzle. Unless I had gone into the store I would never have imagined just what was behind the front doors. Amazing! I personally feel that this store wins hands down over all others in town. Two, have the coffee ready by 7:30 in the morning. It's great coffee but it isn't always ready for breakfast so I have to go elsewhere. Three, lose the store discount card, discontinue it. Too many stores and too many cards filling one's wallet. Just do what we all know works at the major stores and just give everyone your best price without a discount card. More free wallet space means more money to spend in the store.

Nice store. Looked to be a large selection of groceries. Produce looked fresh, bakery had a large selection of baked goods out and some very good looking donuts. Meat department has some choice looking cuts of beef, chicken and fish on display.

Always has what I'm looking for.My son always has to have sushi 🍣 from here, and ONLY this store, because they have a man who makes fresh sushi in the store in the mornings and he, my son, knows its fresh. I must admit, I like the sushi from here the best- if it comes from a store!I haven't had soda in over 10 years, and Lowes always has a good selection of water! Yes, born & bred in the south, and the daughter of an avid tea drinker, I HATE tea and coffee. I am so glad I can stock up on my water when I get to town! Lowes seems to have a never-ending supply!
