I have been taking our dogs to Groomingdales for almost 7 years . Called today for an appointment and was told it’s going to be January before they could get my girls in. Not a mention of calling me if a cancellation came up. Just a “sorry that’s all we have.” Obviously they could care less about returning customers. Maybe they’re so busy they could care less about faithful customers. Easy come, easy go😞

I called to make an appointment for the following week and was told the soonest they had was 2 weeks out but was offered to be put on wait list in case of a cancelation. The next day I received a call first thing that they had an opening that afternoon. Kelly did an awesome job on my Yorkie mix, exactly what I asked for! Definitely taking her back!

Brought my sensitive new rescue dog in for a first nail trim. Wanted to ensure it was a positive experience. It was for both him and me! Brody experienced he can trust others with his body and feet.They were marvelous, patient, compassionate, loving and kind. I couldn't have asked for more. Even the dogs being groomed were regulars and helped Brody out. A happy dog is a happy me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND these talented and gentle professionals.

I was nervous when I dropped my sweet Mac off because I have taken him to the same groomer all his life. But my expectations were absolutely exceeded! The staff was very nice and followed how I wanted his fur cut exactly. He looked so precious afterwards and everyone has been complementing him since.

I have only Heard good things about this place. Still haven’t been able to see for myself. I called just now to try to squeeze in sometime this week. They are booked until 4/9/2021 (today is 2/23/2021). I saw other reviews about a wait list. That was not offered to me. The woman on the phone was polite and apologetic. And maybe I should have pressed her on this “wait list.” Alas, I’m shy sometimes. Must be a good place if they book up so much in advance. Try to call waaaayyyy ahead of you want to get your dog groomed here.

Wouldn't go any where else they get in the floor with my dogs. My pets get told good morning before I do. They always have smiles and show my fur babies lots love and kindness. They always smell great and look amazing when they are done. What means the most is at any given time you may walk in you always feel welcome and they will go above all to make sure your fur babies are happy and clean 😁❤💗

Don’t take your doodles here . I used them once before with my male goldendoodle and had a very bad experience that was over a year ago. I thought I would give them another chance with my female her coat is wavy not curly like our male so easier to groom. This was not the case when I picked her up she was shaved ! And they charged me $90 !

Kristi did a great job on a Welsh terrier.! Always hard to find someone who can groom Airedales and Welshes with a breed cut, and she was perfect. Also really nice people and the dog came out happy.

What a great place! Very happy with how my Australian Labradoodle was treated and groomed. Garcia smells sooo delicious. We’ve been traveling for a while and my pup was a mess. The groomer was great and Garcia looks wonderful. Thanks guys! I definitely recommend Groomingdales.

5 stars isn't enough!!! I have an extremely uncooperative and aggressive dog when it comes to nail grinding and they were patient, persistent, and effective. Awesome awesome awesome.P.S. if groomingdales sees this, I want to apologize again for Beans being 35 lbs of angry muscle dead set on not having his nails ground. But thanks for doing what had to be done anyway!!

I had previously taken a dog here, they were thoughtful about my dog's skin condition and did a great good grooming, but they charge extra for nail trimming. I've recently gotten another dog and have called 3 times and left messages trying to make an appointment, but they have never gotten back to me. They are closed on Mondays and just lost my business to another groomer who answers the phone.

This place is wonderful! The people are so sweet, and they are priced at the same price range as every groomer in the area. I have been taking my Shih Tzu here for 2 years now and I have never been disappointed, or worried about his safety when leaving him there. These negative reviews must be very old, none of the things said are even close to true.

DO NOT GO HERE. After my experience at Groomindales, my dog is traumatized. We went in for a simple nail trim and file. They cut the nails too short, and then tried to grind them which resulted in them grinding the quid. My dog was CLEARLY in pain, but they continued to grind saying “he just doesn’t like it.” I had to put a stop to it myself so we only got a couple nails done. Now, my dog is prescribed anti anxiety he has to take before he gets his nails trimmed because he freaks out now that he has this negative association. This place shouldn’t even be in business, I am shocked by the unprofessionalism and blatant disregard for my dogs well being.

Beau is a Old English Sheepdog "mix", 35#; Lucky is a 20# terrier mix. Both have long, shaggy coats and both are difficult to deal with when it comes to people they do not know and love, specifically, Beau can be a "biter". From the time I spoke with Melba on the phone to make the appointment to get the boys their summer do, I just knew that she was the one to do it!! The boys look amazing and they were very happy with their new look. Melba is caring, gentle, very capable, and always professional. I felt that the cost was fair and I could not be more pleased. Many thanks, Melba, for all that you do to help with our best friends.

I have taken my Yorkie to this establishment at least 4 times and they can never cut his hair properly even though I leave very specific instructions!!!! I guess it it is time to find a different groomer so dissatisfied and I had only heard good things about this place .

Love the way my Morkie, Mattie, looks every time they groom her. She doesn't hate going to the groomer here. Friendly staff always. I would definately recommend these groomers.
