Deep gap food lion! What a great place to shop. Clean and always full of whatever I need. I go out of my way to shop at this food lion for the wing bar , such a variety! Helpful and kind employees makes a huge difference when I'm shopping for groceries this is my go to for all my needs 💓

The girl checking me out would not even help me load my bagged groceries into the cart. Grocery stores have changed a lot. Nobody wants to do anything but text, and talk to their coworkers. Good thing I am not the manager, because I am old school.

Good foodlion. They can't seem to keep many people for long, I don't think foodlion treats their employees like people. As a customer standpoint though, it's really the only grocery store I go to.

A very convenient grocery store on the edge of town offering a decent selection of products. Shoppers can find essentials and some specialty items. Prices are competitive, but the store may lack some organic and gourmet options. Staff is very friendly, making it a solid choice for everyday shopping.

Previous to today, I had many good experiences at this store. I used to shop here three or four times every week. There is one silver haired cashier at this location who is as genuine and kind as can be. I doubt I’ll see her much in the near future.This place is a real mixed bag.Good prices on some meat specials. Horribly overpriced on snacks and some packaged foods.The people running this store represent two completely different ends of the customer service spectrum.The young kid who checked me out today had not a clue about customer service.When a customer says to the cashier, “This is too expensive.” And “I don’t want to pay this much.” - The appropriate thing for the cashier to do is to offer to refund the total and take back the items.It is NOT appropriate in this circumstance for the cashier to then say, “If you have an issue, you can go to customer service.”(Especially when there is nobody in line behind the customer and the cashier’s only immediate responsibility is the person in front of them.)The assistant manager I spoke with next was condescending too, and seemed oblivious to how to simply ask what would make it right. Being condescending to your elders is a very bad habit. Extremely ill advised.I have spent thousands of dollars at this store in the past two years. Maybe I won’t shop here much anymore.People who shop for their families do talk with one another in this town. Maybe Food Lion doesn’t care much about losing repeat customers?Ageism runs pretty counter to good manners and these young men working here need some sincere leadership in manners and in how to respect one’s elders.There’s not a man I know over 40 who would fail to recognize the sort of smugness & condescension I was privy to today. It is a shame that some young people don’t know any better way of treating loyal customers.The store manager told me he would “talk with them”. All I can do is take him at his word.Disappointing.

Conveniently located by the old family home for us, so we don't have to drive all the way into town if we don't want to. They're not going to have everything in the world, but they sure will have enough to get you by. The staff were friendly and helpful, the store was clean and stocked.

Low prices and friendly service. I highly recommend the Boone, N.C. store and also the nearby Blowing Rock store. Both are on Blowing Rock Rd. and not very visible from the highway. Blowing Rock Rd. is also HWY 321/221 and is the connecting road between Boone and Blowing Rock. I get a very good deal on Virgil's sodas. It's $5.50 for a 4 pak it's a specialty soda and goes for $6.50 at other grocery stores. Great deal.

A few Staff (cashiers) will not even speak when checking you out. They might need to go work for Walmart where that behavior is expected by customers. Other than that store is good

Ok I know foodlion closes at 11 pm well it was right at 11 pm I went in at 1050pm get up to the register after I go to the bathroom and go to the drink isle and go to pay for my drinks oh she has already pulled the register I said you seen me come in and you even spoke to me i said its just now turning 11 pm now right now when you close i said you seen me walking up here with drinks I said you had her pull the register before 11 pm oh we do this all thr time we close at 11 i said yeah I know you close at 11 pm but literally i was up here seconds from it being 11 pm I mean really you pulled register out before 11 pm I said cause its just now turning 11 pm as we speak and she tried saying this that and the other i mean come on people I know everyone wants to get home from work and all but I mean don't lie about the time and saying oh we do this all the time no cause your new i shop here all the time and your literally supposed to keep a drawer in till 11 pm and she didn't it was pulled before time and ya know im pretty sure rules apply to all cashering at all different stores and safety reasons supposed to do a check of your store to make sure there is nomore customers in it and if there is tell them politely hey we are closed now and ring them out or ask them to come back especially if its a huge order of course can't take that long after store closes to check them out and then when they are all out of store then u take drawer out and do your thing counting it deposits and so on and yeah DUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH. I MEAN I guess there is alway a prick in someone's roses right ✅ im just sayn..

Incredible selections of vegitarian food and so many different selections of great food that I don't find anywhere else often! The prices are also really nice affordable, not the cheapest place on all items but one of the cheapest affordable places outside that! Pretty good help the cashier I had was a little stiff and I had to bag my own drinks because he never offered to but other than that still a great experience shopping with them and was easy to bag my own drinks thanks to the bags at the end of the check out counter so that's a good addition. I'd definitely refer a friend to shop here and will shop there again myself!

My wife shops here whenever we visit our friends in the area. She is very particular about prices, cleanness, and attitude of the staff. Although the prices are higher than in the lowcountry, it all seems to pass her high standard of expectations. So, I must give it 5 star review.

Wonderful service, great organization, and very good people. However, I was unable to find a few items to make enchiladas, such as green enchilada sauce. Otherwise, a very convenient store that I can walk to to get groceries.

As Food Lions go, this is a great one. Plus it's the only one in Boone. Plus it's the one that's most convenient to us. 😁Seriously though, the staff is great, the check out is easy, and the stock is far above the norm. Prices compared to Lowe's, or Harris-Teeter are extremely competitive. IMO, go here first.

Management at this location just fired a produce employee in front of my wife. For acknowledging suppy chain issues that are out of their control. We will drive further and pay more to not to support that.

I've always loved the Food Lions that are in Boone. The prices are great and the staff is absolutely wonderful. These grocery stores are definitely the best ones of Boone. These are the stores we do most of our shopping and will continue to do our shopping.

Clean and well organized, it's always nice shopping at this Food Lion. Others I've been to weren't as bright and organized and felt slightly dingy. The staff I came into contact with were smiling and friendly and that's always a plus. Well done.

Very clean store nice helpful employees I used the restroom it was clean had plenty of bathroom tissue and soap I liked the store also because employees wore mask and most of the customers wore mask very fast to get in and out had plenty of registers open which helped make paying easy they have propane tanks for sale or exchange for propane grills for cooking outside the also sold firewood I noticed great store would recommend

This is MY grocery store for so many reasons but one of my favorite things is the way they put all fridge related items in a different colored plastic bag. When I get home I know which bags are for the fridge and pantry. I love it!!!

The shelves were stocked and we were able to find what we needed. Except skim milk. Nobody has skim or 1% milk. The store is always clean and the staff is friendly.
