Nice little shop with lots of feeders and knick knacks for your yard. The basement with solar lights display is worth the stop all by itself. The two ladies running the shop are very friendly and knowledgeable on birds and feeds

WBG is where we always buy our bird feeding supplies. Dawn and her assistants always have a friendly greeting for us and also a treat for our dog who usually accompanies us. Her prices on our very high quality "hot mix" bird food are less that the same product at any store that I have seen it sold. She is informative and polite. During Covid , mask were mandatory for a while because of the usually large crowd and very small space. I have never heard her be rude and we have gone it there , I would guess over 50 times during the last 6 years , often just to say hello.

Dawn was very rude. We were going to make a purchase, but my son misunderstood when she asked if we needed help. He thought she said let me know if you need help. He said "We're fine" and was very respectful. She yelled from the stairwell, I DIDN'T ASK YOU THAT. We told her that was rude. She said my son looked at her like this .. and she made a face that made us feel she was calling him stupid. We told her we're leaving. Rather than apologize, she told us she was trying to correct my adult son. We've seen other reviews about Dawn's rudeness. We would never patronize or recommend her establishment.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dawn, last weeek and she helped me get set up with a great bird feeder and seed. I only had it hanging in my garden for two days before the birds found it. Now, I'm enjoying the show with all kinds of birds, especially the beautiful red cardinals. Dawn is so knowledgable and helpful, and has so many neat garden items from lights, and lanterns, to feeders, rugs, and water features. This is a must see quality store on Main St, Blowing Rock!

A little politeness goes a long way. This afternoon, while touring Blowing Rock, I walked into the store, which was full of people, many were bottlenecking by the front door as they were exiting. The moment I passed the lady behind the counter (I don't know if that was the owner or an employee), she tells me in a loud, harsh, and rude tone that, "Ya gotta wear a mask to be in here!". I was embarrassed now that everyone looked at me and I mentioned that I have asthma. She rudely and harshly says, "So do I and I wear one." I said, "Yep" and walked out. There was NO need to shame me or draw this embarrassing attention to me. She could have totally handled it differently as do employees of other stores I have been in.

This is the best shop in Blowing Rock!! There are all types of outdoor bird feeding accessories, illuminaries for night time, flags, bird seed...anything you could possibly think of. Prices are reasonable too! The owner, Dawn, is a gem. You'll love her and for the time being. ...wear a mask when you go in. It's just the right thing to do. Love ya Dawn❤️❤️
