A nice little return to the toy stores of my youth that have since mostly disappeared. They had a large selection for kids under 12 or 13. They also had a good selection of family games. We bought our youngest son a little stuffed animal for Christmas. The clerk rang it up for me discreetly and bagged it up for me so we could run it outside undetected by our youngest boy. It's a nice place to stop during your vacation to the Boone/Blowing Rock area if you have younger kids.

Good selection, clean store. Pretty fair prices and good variety for kids of all ages. Got some escape game puzzles. Never seen these anywhere else.

Our foster son just finished Ghostbusters for the first time so the marshmellow man out front caught his eye. This store is filled with all sorts of different toys. Stuffed animals, play sets, board games and puzzles . Science sets and magic sets. They had a 30% off deal on the ghosbuster sets so they we're much cheaper than Amazon (impossible right?). They sold us the display model of the stay puft man, we needed that dude!

We love the place! It is usually our first stop when we get to Blowing Rock. The owner is kind and personable. I compared his prices and they are close to Amazon and what the toy manufacturers msrp is. Please support this wonderful local business.

This place is the best. The young man working there was so friendly and helpful and they have an amazing assortment of toys for all ages and interests. We will definitely be visiting again and I would highly recommend this toy store to those with children and without. They even had a cool little tank full of tadpoles! My daughter and I both left the store smiling big. ❤

Decent selection of toys. If you are in search of playmobil toys, this is a great place to stop. They do considerate things like puzzle exchanges. Environment is more like your old school kid friendly toy store vs. Goliath mega commercial stores.

It's rare to see a toy store anymore, sadly. We found ourselves with a rainy afternoon in Boone recently and my daughter asked about somewhere she could play, so we came across this store in our search and fell in love! My daughter could've spent hours at the train tables. I was blown away by the selection as they have tons of STEM type toys and activities. They have items for all ages, including a large selection of Legos/Lego Friends, Melissa & Doug, puzzles and games. Definitely a gem and we will return during all our mountain trips.

Wow! Where do I start! The young gentleman made our experience here so memorable! He was very knowledgeable, professional and you could he enjoyed his job. He did a great job telling us about the different things in the store. He spoke from experience as the staff have tried out a lot of the products they sell! The experience made us feel like kids again, we only wish we lived closer to visit more often!

You are instantly met with a feeling of coziness when walking into this eclectic toy store. While it's possible to find those normal toy aisle items, this place really shines with the "Wow! I've never seen THAT before" experiences. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about every item in the store, but not overbearing or hovering. When recently looking for a new board game, they took the time to make a wonderful recommendation AND demo a few rounds with me! Our family loves coming in to see the new dazzling products and perusing the old. HIGHLY recommended!

I had a very specific toy in mind for my grandson. Could not find it anywhere in town. Found out about this store, the incredible toy store inc. And thought I'd check it out. They had what I was looking for! As well, the selection in there was so good, that I purchased a second stuffed animal for my grandson. By the way their stuffed animal selection is great. The two ladies that were working there, at the time I visited, were very cordial, polite, and very attentive to my needs. In the future I will come to this place first.

The new location has great parking and is not dangerous parking as Compton old location. There is an expansion of available toys.

Their name is accurate; this place is incredible! We were in town for a weekend and dropped in to find a family game. The selection inside was impressive and the ladies who helped us were amazing. They even had some games already open where they happily took us for a "test drive" to help us make our decision. Their customer service was amazing. I'm happy to avoid all things "big-box" and I highly recommend checking them out!

Don't know why people seem to think that the mask mandate is a reason to leave a bad review, and I appreciate this store keeping the community and children safe! The two young ladies who helped me out were so kind and knowledgeable! My grandkids loved their suggestions! Love this place!

You don't really find toy stores like this anymore. They had a very large selection of toys and games for all ages, and all of the we're family friendly (no cards against humanity here, sorry folks) which I appreciated. Picked up a couple games for us to play at our vacation cabin and we'll most likely stop back in next year when vacation time comes back around. Also the wife bought the most ridiculous stuffed rooster.

I liked it!! I wish I had went there before my granddaughter turned 3. They have awesome stuffed animals, all kinds of toys. Some r a little pricey. It's worth the look in the store

This store has a good selection of toys, many that I had not seen anywhere else. However, I found that the toys were generally overpriced and the salesperson was a bit too pushy for my tastes. My daughter picked out a $20 doll and the salesperson kept trying to get her to pick the $70 doll. My daughter is 3 and not going to provide any doll with $70 worth of care. It might be a good place to go and pick out a gift for a child instead of taking your child to pick out a new toy.

One of the few old school places left in Boone/Blowing Rock to shop and has been here for many years. New toys of all kinds and for all age groups. A must stop especially if buying for kids. Employee/Owner helpful and very friendly. Prices very reasonable.

There is a lot in this store! I was impressed. The lady working there was very nice, and helpful. There was a man coming in and out of an office, he didn't speak...not very friendly. I found not only toys, but many DIY crafts as well.

Great little toy shop! The folks there were very friendly and helpful. Also they carry some unique and fun products. That I'm willing to bet my wife on that you'll not find at any run of the mill toy dept. We will definitely be back.

This is our go to toy store. You aren't going to find road and rows of the mass market toys. They have a wonderful selection of toys from smaller manufacturers, "indie" or "craft" toys if you will. The staff is awesome and superbly knowledgeable. Tell them who you are buying for and they'll find you a great gift.

Really sweet people and a fun ace to browse even if you're not looking for anything! The layout was really nice, and packed with everything you could think of, from tabletop games for adults, to baby enrichment toys! Gift wrap option available.

Absolutely loved this toy store and the selection of things. If it wasn't 5+ hours away, I would totally be there almost every other week getting the kids something or at least bringing them there for incentives. Bring one to Richmond Virginia - I'd totally put in an application! Ha

A little gem in between Boone and Blowing Rock. Great selection of toys and games. These are quality toys that last and spark creativity. They do not carry the cheap big box store selections.
