Excellent place to do some grocery shopping before you hit the Blue Ridge Parkway. The place and the toilet are clean. The place also offered good hot foods such as fried chicken wings and others.The parking space is large and spacious. The location is just perfect, you will pass the place if you are driving from Charlotte towards Boone - and the entryway to the Blue Ridge Parkway is just after the store.The parking space offers majestic view towards the mountains.

Good selection, great prices. Really friendly staff in the produce, deli and front end. Very helpful! I drive a mobility scooter and when I fill the basket they put the groceries in a cart so I can shop more and then they push the bags out to my car. Its my favorite local store, I know where everything is! Great produce even in the dead of winter. They collect food boxes for charity at Christmas and I really like that sense of corporate responsibility.

I typically do a large portion of my shopping at Food Lion. The only thing that is a problem is that I use mostly all healthy products, and those items appear to be shrinking. I had hoped that they would have increased the amount of gluten-free, soy free, and corn free products.

I drive a good ways to come shop here. Way better than in town. Slower paced and friendly staff. The meat department is great! 👍

Food Lion in Blowing Rock is awesome! The people here are so nice. I, courteously ask how they are doing, and they follow me around the store telling me how they are doing. I love it. So nice. So clean. So we'll stocked and displayed. 3 thumbs up!

We use this place whenever we visit. Semi-easy to get in, but if you are trying to go South on 321 when you leave you might be waiting a minute. I have never had to wait long in line and the food selection is better than my Food Lion at home. The beer and wine selection is AWESOME as well.

I live close so this is convenient. The employees are always friendly. It’s always clean, but You need to pay attention to what you get off the shelves. I have gotten home several times with out of date things. Ice cream, candy, canned goods. These items are supposed to be checked and rotated. There shelves are empty. I was there 2 days ago and could only fill half my list. The items in their sale paper were gone. If you’re going to have those items in your sale paper you need to have plenty of stock.This is not the first time I’ve shopped and had no luck in finding what I needed due to empty shelves. I realize that it might not matter if you lose one customer, but your standards for this customer have dropped considerably!

Very well stock grocery store with a friendly staff and the store is clean and very well kept. They have a huge selection of produce, meat, drinks, and all kinds of house hold items. They have a red box and propane. I was checked out extremely quickly by a very friendly cashier. It’s great that blowing rock has such a great local grocery store for the community.

Bought food for our camping trip only to later realize that some of the candy we purchased had an expiration dates of 2008 and 2011. Seriously? 10-13 years out of date?!! Can't wrap my head around how that was even possible. Where as I have always had a love of vintage items, food for my family is not on that list.

It's horrible.Under stocked. Deplorable .I simply went in for one box of Excedrin. Headache meds.....Nothing on shelf.I'm a visit, tourist. What are we to expect.Blowing Rock has no other local open pharmacy.Markel Orlando FL

Quick in, quick out. Store layout intuitive. Shelves were well stocked - even had good meat selection, paper products, and cleaning supply during COVID-19 (June 2020).

I was in this store shopping last week and I'm assuming that the gentleman I ran into was the store Manger (greg) he was on his cell phone talking and I approached him with a question and the rude response I got was something else. He seemed as though I was "bothering" him. Just rude!

I would give it 5 stars for the staff, customer service and quality of food offered. But the new renovations are lack luster and really less than a 3. it now looks like a Large bulk super Market where nothing is easliy located and sterile looking. FL missed the mark on this renovation. Very disappointed

We stop by the store as we stayed in Blowing Rock for the night. It is well located just off the highway. A good selection of usual grocery items. Mostly well located and enables you to avoid a trip into town
