I live nearby so it's not hard to go sometimes and pay my bill, however sometimes it is inconvenient when I'm working. They don't take payments by phone anymore and they charge a premium to pay online according to every $100. The last time I paid online it cost me $10 more in addition to my already outrageous power and utility bill. But it's worth your while to pay early because they add a $25 dollar late fee if your bill isn't paid in full a week before it's due date. And there are no grace periods or holds even if you make a partial payment. They will disconnect you and smile in your face. That's $55 dollars to reconnect even if you're 1 hour late, even if you're power and utility isn't disconnected yet, if you go to pay your bill on disconnect day that's $55 dollars or you're getting turned off. No matter if you have children if you're elderly or have health issues. Nice policies during these post pandemic days we live in today. The biggest crooks in town work out of the town hall. I'm so ready to move but the outrageously high bills make relocation difficult. And I had my service disconnected once. I had the money to pay the bill but made a mistake with the dates. I was there that morning to pay my bill, extra $55 dollars for paying on disconnect day. I can't even imagine how many $25 "late" fees I've paid even though I've never technically been late just went beyond their prescribed day for payment. Now tell me who the real criminals are.
