I finally took my husband and boys out to P.R. Moores Produce in Biscoe, NC yesterday to try Karen's Fried Pies & More. I heard about her from Southern Living magazine a few years ago and finally made it out there. We made a quick stop at a friend’s in Oakboro and then enjoyed the drive in the Uwharrie National Forest. The boys had fun looking around, and picking out “a treat”, which I thought was the apple, but turned out to be candied jellies. (Surprise, surprise 😂). My husband and I got one bourbon pecan and one sweet potato fried pie, plus an Apple fritter. We also brought home some Arkansas black apples, which I recently learned about and wanted to try. The whole experience was a fun adventure, and Karen’s baked goods are divine! That Apple fritter was literally the best I’ve ever had. (Sorry, no pictures of baked goods. Also, no judgment allowed. 😊)

Very disappointed in the green beans I got, they were wet and molded. I thought when I ordered they were to be fresh. I drove for a hour to get there and when I got home i poured them out on a towel. I bought several items to can and I’m hoping my corn will be better. I wish I would have brought back lesson learned look before you leave.

Always fresh, always friendly, perpetually seasonal. The folks at PR Moore have been running the best produce (and much more) stand for decades. We make sure throughout the year to get the freshest produce, flowers, or even baked goods and prepped goodness.Do not miss the fried pies or anything else you may stumble across

We stumbled across this place on our way from Charlotte to Fayetteville...what a treasure! We purchased an unusual plant check it out a "shrimp plant" it has multiplied in size and very healthy. There were so many varieties of candies, old jams and jellies from the "old days" it was a blast from the past. We will definitely go back.

Kind and honest! Mr. Moore went out of his way to help me. I need a large quantity of pecans to feed our squirrels (NC Wildlife Rehab). He made it possible!!

Really enjoyed my first visit! Love the general store atmosphere. Quite a selection of jams and jellies. The flowers in the greenhouse were beautiful and appeared to be very healthy. I will definitely drop in when I am traveling that way. The visit made a dreary rainy day most interesting!

This place has been here for a long time and I've always liked going here when I'm passing through. They have great produce, the honey they sell is really good, and they have good plants and statues for landscaping. Prices are good and the staff is friendly and courteous.

Cute little place by US 24 / 27 in Biscoe, NC. Stopped by to get some fresh fruits and produce. Got some pie, too. It has that old world nostalgic feeling that today's big box grocery stores lack. The folks there were very friendly, too. There is an ice cream stall right beside the store where you can get some great seasonal flavors. We had a peach flavored ice cream cup and it was just wonderful and tasty. There's also a flower shop and an antique store adjacent to the place.

Fantastic atmosphere, country charm, aroma of the cantaloupe and peaches calls out to customers, "I am sweet and juicy! ". You will not be disappointed. Produce is beautifully arranged and clean. Make sure to try the home made Hershey icecream stand. There is also an antique shop and plant shop. Great place to stop for a leg stretch when traveling from Fayetteville NC area. If another shop is added it could include local hand made crafts. Lovely location. We will be back!

This store is located in Biscoe, NC and has lots of little good crannies for the entire family. You can get your plants and produce at the same place, so if you're in the area stop by I'm sure they will be glad to have you!!!

Had my first taste of a pumpkin roll yesterday, freshly made thanks to Karen. Have stopped here many times driving through Biscoe. Vegetables were fresh. Bought some sweet potato butter want to save it for the holidays but not sure if I can wait.

My friend and I drove an hour to pickup green beans, when we got home with them, they had mold on them, I have thrown away as many as I've canned, rotten and old!

While they have a great selection of flowers and a good bit of veggies, it is pretty pricey. I paid over 12 dollars for about 3 lbs of squash😧
