This place actually took me back to my childhood with some of the brands I found here! I expected to spend well over $250 if not more with all I got but I spent less than $160 😳! I would describe the atmosphere as nostalgic being that it is anything like the modern day grocery store and the staff as very helpful and friendly. Prices are good & the quality is even better!

This store is always awesome!! The meat selection and prices are great!! With a butcher on site, you can get meat cut special. And they have a huge selection in all departments with great prices. This is a really great supermarket and the staff are very courteous and helpful.

Good grocery store but check your prices at register they don't always match the shelf prices. But just about all store have this issue.

If you're looking for great deals on meat, especially beef, this is the place to go. Also have a great selection of frozen foods. Produce is definitely lacking (little variety and not the best quality), but I stop here every time I have to go to Biscoe because you absolutely can not find a better selection of meat at value prices.Update 2021: happy to say the produce section is looking wonderful with a new layout and many new FRESH varieties to choose from.

The perfect go to place for all my grocery and household needs. Staff treats me like family. Weekly specials, no long lines at checkout, because they will open another register in a heartbeat. East parking. And remember " It's Mainly Because of the Meat" locally owned. Highly recommend both Biscoe and Troy locations.

I always shop at food king especially to buy my meats ..they have the very best meat an poultry prices around. Their steaks are absolutely the best ever ..cuts an prices!!! I drive 15 miles every month to get my groceries at food king.

I came here to get a highlighter and Sharpie. I was told that I couldn’t bring my backpack 🎒 with me. Seems irrational since I put my items or groceries in there. I’ve done this for years. I don’t trust them to keep my backpack safe. Seems like this place likes to social profile you for no apparent reason.

They have good deals on stuff that I buy frequently. I love the "Pick 5 for $20" in the freezer section and the 4 for $5 on things like brownie and cake mix.

Prices are high,but there customer service is terrible. Cashier named Jessica acted like she didn’t want to wait on anyone and when I said thank you all I got was a “whatever”. Last time I’ll shop here! Rude! Rude! Rude!

Mangager told my wife with our 4 month old at the time she couldnt have a diaper bag in the store based on that experience and the fact that the store is pretty run down and dirty I wouldnt shop here again
