Went for strawberry picking and it was great. This is a fun place to bring kids and let them enjoy seeing the farm animals. They have the most extensive and elaborate christmas lighting during christmas time provided you are up for standing in line for 2-3 hours.

Fun family experience for all ages. We attended the Ho Ho Christmas Show. The older people in our group loved it. The meal is served buffet style. We were the last table to get in line yet there was plenty of food and the servers maintained the buffet throughout the meal. We moved to the hayride and enjoyed the amazing lights.

This is a fun family experience. There's good food served family style, and may I add, all you can eat. My personal favorites are fried chicken and what maybe the worlds best Mac and cheese. There's a great gift shop and bakery along with a petting zoo for the kids. There are seasonal hayride activities which I can only name a few, strawberry patch picking, pumpkin patch, and Christmas lights. Check the website for current details, I think you will enjoy your visit.

Brought the family for the haunted hayride; it keeps getting better every year. In the pitch of the night you’ll hear the screams of a lost Lieutenant through the Forrest screaming for help. We all had a blast this year for sure

Awesome family experience! Speedy service for all-you-can-eat fried chicken dinner, including choice of dessert. Plus, goats, sheep, peacock, and chicken. Plus, a collection of vintage tractors. Lots of fun in a fun, beautiful setting. Family owned and run. Don't miss it.

We went for the Christmas show/ dinner/ hayride and it was a lot of fun! I do wish the show was a little more kid-centric but the crowd was on the older side so I understand that they cater to their demographic. Unfortunately, I was unable to watch the show bc my 4 y/o was not super interested but we spent the time between the show and hayride walking around the grounds and watching the hayride tractors pull up, so that that kept him busy (DO NOT TOUCH THE TRACTORS THAT ARE SITTING OUT; they look like they're there for kids to climb on and play around but they are not and there is nothing stating not to touch them; if you take the chance you might be good bc the employees will correct some but not all... not the ones used for the hayride, the smaller ones sitting next to the line for the hayride)! The food is served buffet style with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, biscuits, and of course their famous mac and cheese!Overall it was fun but wouldn't really recommend the Christmas show for younger children (under 6).

Fun don't get me wrong but it's the same order of lights same design i mean. Would be cool if they put something to spice it up some. Seems like the driver can't wait to get the ride over and pick up the next group. Food is so so u can't tell they are cooking in bulk thought. And no Santa again for 2 years now come on there should be a Santa there everyday all day!! And try a stand out by the lines that has complementary hot apple cider and a donut or something. Cause for 3 of us 2 adult and 1 child $100 and that was just for diner my lord!!

This was such a fun thing to do! We made reservations for the dinner (if booked, keep checking back because spots open up all the time!) and the hay ride. The dinner was fried chicken and really great fixins. There was also dessert (your choice). Dinner seating was neat, you wait for them to tell you your table was ready and go in and they check you in and you sit down. They bring all the food out, you eat and then go outside and wait in the private party line for the hay ride. They hayride was so much longer then I had thought. You're loaded on with a ton of other people and at first it seems a little lame but it gets SO MUCH BETTER as the drive goes on! I absolutely recommend this dinner and hay ride to anyone and everyone! It was $35 per adult and worth it. The food was really good, the service was incredible and the hay ride was perfect! Thank you Mike's Farm for such a great night!!!!!

Was not expecting this place to be as amazing as it was. The food was delicious AND reasonably priced. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was unique. The entire experience was exceptional. Not to mention the hayride of lights. Wow!! Just wow!! No wonder it's so difficult to get a reservation. Well worth the 3 hour round trip drive to get there.

My family and I have loved Mike’s for almost a decade!We come in the spring for strawberries we come in the fall for pumpkins and hayrides, we come in Dec for the Christmas lights! The Badgett is great, the gift shop is festive year-round, and the southern food at the family style restaurant is delicious!I love the new Made in NC Products Barn!

The gift shops are full of all kinds of handmade things to sweets, it was beautifully set up inside! the only regret I have is not getting to try their dinner, it was a 2&1/2 hour wait when I visited but hey that must mean the food is good right!? :)

Treat yourself and come to Mike's Farm. This place is one of a kind. They serve the food family style, they have generous portions and on top of that is all you can eat.The sweet tea is fantastic, the biscuits with ham are awesome and the actual entrees are out of this world. The chicken, the Mac and cheese, the mashed potatoes, the pork, the green beans, the gravy, the corn, everything is remarkable. And if you have space at the end, it also includes dessert, the cheese cake and the banana pudding make for a nice ending.It's a lot of food, so go with your significant other or friends. And at the end you can go for a walk and feed the friendly goats, they also have donkeys and other birds.

Fantastic place to get out and enjoy the fall with family and friends or even a date. There is live music, hay rides, pastries shop and plenty of animals to see. There is also a restaurant with great southern all you can eat food and delicious desserts.

Went for our first Christmas hay ride and dinner. The food was great and our server was fantastic. She managed 50 people in our room flawlessly.The rain held off for most of the ride but it didn't take away from the splendor of all the lights. We had a memorable evening and will be back next year to make this a tradition

The store on the site features unique products that are from North Carolina. All counties of North Carolina are represented. The staff in the store, bakery and restaurant were always polite and helpful in a genuine way. I recommend this place to anyone who wishes to have a relaxing and enjoyable experience in the country. I must make a special mention of the wine, fudge and macaroni and cheese. The fudge is wonderful! They have so many flavors and will give you samples of any of them. The wine selection is outstanding and features wines from around the state. The restaurant provided a sample of the Mac and Cheese ( not a usual thing, I was in a special event group) and I can say without doubt it was the best I have ever had. It was rich and creamy with a depth of flavor yet, not overpowering. Silky smooth and buttery

Mike's Farm was incredible. They held nothing back during their Christmas lights hayride event! One could feel the presence of Christmas in the atmosphere (not just the cold air)! Around every corner was a new, awe-inspiring event! Everyone in our group gave it 2 thumbs up!

I have been to the restaurant at the farm several times already (with more to go). It is an awesome experience! Everyone should go at least once (you’ll definitely want to go back😅). The food is great, the staff friendly, the atmosphere beautiful especially in December!

Beautiful farm that turns into a pumpkin patch in the fall. Lots of space to park! They offer a variety of activities including a hay ride, a general store, live music and so much more! In the winter time they have Christmas lights all around the farm. We never visit Mike’s without eating! They have some of the best fried chicken and biscuits I have ever eaten in my life!

The store is amazing!There was a small of amount of animals to see.The food was a big let down for the cost. Chicken was just barely warm, The corn was from can and was just corn/water out of the can (add some butter, pepper). Green beans, same, from can lacking flavor. Mashed potatoes was was very close to being soup but gravy was good. Ham in biscuits was just ok.I think pork was from can as well. I can say the Mac N Cheese is their best.My overall impression would be, I tried, but would not make the trip again.If I was the owner and charging the price $$ for this, I’d get a real cook in there and you are sure to get better results. Going from a fabulous store to horrible buffet is a hurt to your business.

What a fantastic place for the whole family. Watching and feeding the many rambunctious goats is fun. The amount of local vendors selling quality products is mind boggling. Mikes Farm products are first rate too. We love stopping by whenever we are in town.
