You will not find anyone better suited than Alex when it comes to dart frogs. The store has everything you need. Alex is ready and willing to provide you with knowledge and the materials you need. This is a one stop shop. He has perfected and literally mastered in the art of dart frogs. The store is pristine and the level of organization is unmatched. Frogdaddy has both quality and quantity. If you can’t visit the store in person I highly recommend checking out his website. The attention to detail is incredible.

Flies are packed extremely well. I also have a pair of El Dorado pumilio from Alex and they breed constantly. Guy knows his frogs and plants and knows how to ship in winter.

Alex is amazing!! I was looking for a wider variety of Serensis at a reasonable price and came across FrogDaddy. At first I was skeptical because I was recently scammed by Willow Reptile and I couldn't find much about FrogDaddy's business online. Alex was so quick to respond to all of my messages and was incredibly helpful the whole way, educating me and helping me pick out the right frog(s) to join my current terrarium. I would have made a big mistake, possibly causing the death of one or multiple frogs, if Alex wasn't so helpful. Google said mixing the species was ok, but Alex urged me not to mix the species and I trust him!Everything arrived earlier than expected, in perfect condition. The heat packs were still warm! The frogs were in much larger containers than the competition (approximately an 6oz deli if i had to guess) and with gorgeous leaves that i added to my terrarium! The plants were all healthy and packaged well. There was not a single thing with my order that i was unhappy with or wish that Alex did differently or better. I am also very grateful that Alex uses UPS and not FedEx. I have had nothing but bad experiences with FedEx in the past and i know that the competition uses FedEx. The first order that i placed for a frog came via FedEx. I was shocked when i opened the package and the heat packs were not warm. Also, the cup that the frog came in was a 2oz condiment cup with some moss, only.i don't have a ton of experience with ordering frogs, but from the 2 places i have ordered so far, one being known all over the internet, and the other being FrogDaddy - i would hands down order from again and recommend FrodDaddy to anyone looking for a frog. He wont disappoint!

I live in Michigan so I usually order my feeders from Josh's Frogs since they are rather close to where I live but I needed a producing colony of fruit flies ASAP. Josh's frogs was going to charge me $40 for shipping on a producing colony & only $12 shipping for a freshly started colony, so I decided to shop around. I found Frogdaddy & they had exactly what I needed at a price much more affordable to me. I searched their location, which is NC so I was a bit nervous about what shipping times would be & if they would survive the long cold journey to MI in January.Well I must say I was very pleasantly surprised at the product Frogdaddy delivered me. They came in today, an entire day early from what the shipping estimate said the would (yay), & the x2 colonies were in fact producing, healthy, & warm since they added a heat pack to my order. What a wonderful service they provided me. I will be ordering a lot more from Frogdaddy! I highly recommend them to anyone in the reptile/insect hobby, at least for feeders. Thank you Frogdaddy!

I've recently started my journey of raising poison dart frogs. I luckily lived close to their storefront, so I decided to take a trip over there a few months back. Everything from the colorful frogs to their variety of isopods to the choices of wood and bark to their absolutely gorgeous plants blew me away!The team gave me a full tour of the facilities and I got to see the multitude of species of their poison dart frogs and tropical plants. They were incredibly helpful to guide me in gathering all the resources I needed to get started.I decided to start out with tadpoles. I'm happy to say, after a couple of months of waiting, that my Ranitomeya variabilis 'Southern' have fully metamorphosed into beautiful baby frogs! Every single thing in, and including, the tank contains items I purchased from FrogDaddy.I've since moved to another state, but I plan to build another, bigger tank and I'll absolutely continue being a customer with FrogDaddy for any and all of my frog and vivarium husbandry needs!

We went to a repticon a few months ago and bought some isopods, springtails, some live plants, mushroom caps/other things for CUC nature, you know the works.MAN, out of EVERY SINGLE isopod cluster I have /ever/ found, Frogdaddy's have grown like wildfire in my bioactive set ups!!!!So much so that they were over-populating and I had to take a ton out to put in my own bins and try and spread out around in other tanks! It's crazy!100% will only be buying my CUC from these guys! WONDERFUL prices too!

I purchased a pumilio cauchero male from FrogDaddy. The mail carrier slightly lost my frog, but Alex was on it immediately and my poor little dude didn't have to spend an extra night in a box. I was not cool and collected, but he was! My frog is still healthy and happy and making babies 3 years later.

I ordered tadpoles and a live frog for my mother's day gift and the order was completely botched. I'm already dealing with arrangements for my mother's end-of-life care and this was supposed to cheer me up by giving me something I love but everything went down in flames. The live frog I ordered to give my single dude a buddy didn't ship despite saying it did and all my tadpoles died within the day because they were shipped 3 weeks before my requested ship date. I scrambled to get ready and was able to do so despite my rural location but they still died the same day. Made the right tea did all the things and it didn't matter. I will not buy from this vendor again and instead will use reputable sources like Josh's Frogs.

Alex was extremely helpful from the moment I walked in the door! He let me know if there was something I needed or wanted that wasn’t there he could get it for Me. I was surprised to see they had items for many other reptiles aside from frogs!Alex helped me go bio active and guided me through the process every step of the way!!He also had TOP NOTCH frozen feeders for our snakes as well! This place not only cares about their animals well being, they care about yours! The animals are always very well taken care of and the enclosures are clean and well kept! The amount of work put into these animals is mind boggling!! I’m very impressed!!We’ve found our new reptile supply store!!

I would love to change this to a 4 or 5 star, but Alex made that impossible. My wife and I lost a frog and decided to order a replacement from frog daddy. We placed an order for one dart frog and 5 tadpoles. We opted to ship at the end of the month about 3 weeks after we ordered so we could get ready for the tadpoles and have time to make tadpole tea. Alex contacted us to verify. Then shipped them 2 days later, giving us no time to get the tadpole tea ready. (Josh's frogs saved us there) A full 19days before we had confirmed AND NOT EVEN THE WHOLE ORDER! We didnt even get the dart frog THE WHOLE REASONWE ORDERED. He said he had stock shortages but it was confirmed by him the it was in the order after it shipped I've never had this problem in the Tarantula hobby (over 170 Ts) and not in the frog hobby with Josh's frogs. After talking with Alex he refunded my wife for the missing frog but didn't make it right. He did refund a small portion of shipping but didnt offer to send the frog. The DOA doesn't even cover 24hrs and we have already lost one tadpole. All and all I feel like I just got done dealing with a used cars salesman.

Freaking awesome place if you’ve never been! Alex and Jack helped us start out terrarium and we couldn’t be happier! We now have 3 poison dart frogs and 2 geckos in the same tank that is thriving! We also use them for food for our bearded dragon and we’ve never disappointed with the food selection for her. If you have questions, ask! He’s super informative and makes sure you know what you’re doing! Alex (owner) has helped us multiple times with anything we need, starting our roach colony for our dragon, I could literally go on.
