One of the worst dg I've been too. I walked around for a good 30 min and didn't see, or hear any workers and I walked around the whole store probably 4 times. Everytime I have been and actuallt encountered an employee they've been rude, usually on their phones, cussing loud enough for customers to hear and ignore customers so blatantly that honestly is probably the main reason you find packages opened throughout the store from people stealing. Not to mention the many times I've been in here and have heard employees complaining about the company and how much they don't care about the store and the world wonders why there is so much hostility bc simpletons cant even do a job this basic without any issues. Do better dg.

This Dollar General in Bessemer City is an absolute mess!! You cannot even get down the isles to find anything with all the boxes and inventory sitting in the floors. I included pictures!! I hope someone from corporate can see this review and send someone in that store to straighten it up. Also, the air conditioner doesn’t work and they can only take cash. I can’t imagine how many sales they are not getting with all these issues!! Please please please get someone to help this store get stocked, straightened up, get the card machines working, and the air conditioner working. Fixing these things will probably increase the sales enough to pay for it.

It’s extremely dirty, trash everywhere. I knew just by the parking lot this store was gonna be a mess. Boxes in almost every aisle you can’t walk down them. Very unorganized!

The only person in this store who has been so helpful every time I’m here is the girl with the tattoos, everyone else is so rude and not helpful this store needs more workers like the girl who helps me they apparently fired her. they have definitely lost a customer. Im sure they’ll lose many more once they realize the only person there who cares about the customers is gone.

Lazy, can't get anyone on the register. When they finally show up they have an attitude and tell you to use self check out!Told them I needed ice so I couldn't use self check out...She said they were out. When they definitely had it so basically refusing my money to be petty.

Still an absolute mess. Still boxes everywhere with no product on the shelves. And they can’t even open on time. Just sat in the parking lot waiting for them to open for 30 min. People banging on the door to try and get someone. Please do something about this dollar general.

They need more help within the store. Cashiers are always super busy with 1 person working the register. Then there's someone stocking or helping someone. Management at least add 1 more person to assist as well.

I make myself go in there when I have to get something and don't have the time to drive anywhere else. Otherwise I pass them up to shop anywhere else. The store is hot, dirty, messy, and never stocked right. Never enough staff on hand for the busiest store in the state. For the money that goes thru that store two registers should be open at most times. :(

The lady was rude!! Told me she couldn't take my ten dollar bill because it had a little tear on it!! I think she can't refuse any money as long as it has the serial numbers matching so i'll call the manager monday

TERRIBLE customer service. I only go because it's close to my house so it's convenient. If I have another choice I'll always choose somewhere else. Every single time I go in they are rude and disrespectful. Do NOT recommend. The employees should NOT be working in customer service. Extremely dissatisfied.

Very very very rude very rude workers and always mean and that like that don't want to be there I will never go back to that store again ever said they have a public restroom but when you go to use it they said they don't have one when I'm sitting standing there looking at it the lady went in and used it but it's not for no one else but it says public restroom I used to use it when I went up there but that's side the point I won't be back you can bet on that keep it bathroom in your stuff

This place was the worse looking store I've ever been in! It was so unorganized only had one register opened and you would have to clean the other register of all the junk before you even got a cashier up there to use it

Basically was our go-to place when it came to anything couldn’t buy at the regular grocery store! No real complaints!
