Just left here clearance shopping, and of course we find a cute denim jacket on clearance for $5. Went to check out and the lady at the register said “it’s ringing up $7”. I’ll have to contact a manager, instead of contacting the manager to come over, she walked to the customer service desk and they removed the $5 clearance sticker off of the jacket. The sticker clearly stated “denim jacket $5”.MORAL OF THE STORY - they will not honor pricing mistakes made by their employees, rather try to hide it and cover it up. Not sure if there was even a manager at the customer service desk, the lady at the register claims there was.. but the “manager” did not once acknowledge or walk over to explain why they would be ripping the sticker off instead of trying to fix the mistake.These pictures are of what they did to the clearance tag at the customer service desk.

Nobody helped me get eyelashes which were locked. I asked three employees and they said to wait for someone else. There was another lady waiting before me and I’m pretty sure she’s still waiting as I write this review. Don’t keep your items locked if you are not going to help people get the locked items they need.

While playing cashier with my own groceries I needed assistance on an item that didn’t ring up. There were 4 employees at one register close by. No one cameI had to go get someone was told I don’t have a card to scan another didn’t acknowledge us the 3rd was busy the fourth helped . Should have someone to service customers if having the self checkout instead and of us having to wait a long time with 4 employees there .

Rhonda working there is extremely rude. Today Saturday April 13th around 1pm I was walking to a self check out register. She was in front of me in uniform with no items. I assumed she was working the registers and doing a work related task. She grabbed the register for herself I asked “oh are you using that?” She became immediately hostile “was I not in front of you? That’s what I thought” I told her that was a little rude and we continued to exchange words.Extremely aggressive lady to customers for a simple misunderstanding. Not even sure what she was doing at the register as she had no items.

Typical Walmart experience, nothing too special on this store, but they got things done. Typical with Walmart, the price is better for most products when compared to their competitors. Large amount of produce, drinks, clothings, and other things are available.The place is clean and not crowded. The parking lot for this Walmart is large.

I'm all for one-stop shopping...and Walmart has everything you need for activities of daily living and more. Good Gardening Center, would like if they kept plants watered...flower pots are expensive. Can't beat the Pharmacy and Grocery Departments. Glad they are unlocking the cabinets on certain meds and personal care items. Have good clearance items from time to time. I don't use the self checkout registers and sometimes not enough regular registers open, but I usually find someone to talk to to pass the time. Finally, so glad the have more handicap carts available for us who can't do a lot of walking. Great store!

Stuff is locked up. Workers no where to be found to unlock stuff. Called customer service and someone eventually came. They then wouldn’t hand be the box of condoms. They escorted me to self check out, STOOD IN LINE WITH ME, scanned it, and then let me check out. It was $14… I was told this is the policy on anything locked up regardless of price of the item. Is this really true???

Staff very helpful. I watched a young worker in the deli deal with a crabby and picky customer with A1 service. I also just love Jennifer that works in the self check out area she is always very helpful. The staff that work in electronics are also very helpful and have excellent customer service skills and experience working with electronics.

Always get followed around this store like I’m a thief yet even the Store General Manager then figured out he knew me very very well and in front of everyone employee standing up at self checkout (mind you while all employees stood there just looking at him(gm, my fiancé, And I ) I was passing items to him and flipping everything for him to be able to scan easily, he then passed everything after scanning to her to bag and to cart it! Which 3 shopping carts later and a Grand total of right over$750($758.54) I then put my card in that I had locked at that point just to be like oh I’m sorry y’all are going to have to take some things off or everything I guess cause I don’t know!Then right before an associate went to grab a cart from my Fiancé I said to the GM okay I’m done being like them and judging someone else before knowing who they even are, he chuckled a bit and I swiped my Black Glossy Amex card with no limit on it and said y’all employees done or want to help me load it or watch me do that for y’all also!I’m for sure not a cocky person or boast about what I have cause I have 3 older 1996 and older Honda Accords, a 87 Yj Jeep Cherokee, a 1996 Grand Cherokee, a 96 Dodge Dakota, 1997 Nissan pickup, my Pride and joy 2001 6.2L V8 Hellcat Swapped Durango that my mother gave me as a gift because she wanted me to be able to get to enjoy it before I was not able ever to get to!Oh and when my fathers truck was totaled got him a newer truck than 14 years newer than anything I drive but that’s my Father and he’s worked his whole life and should be able to get something like that! (2014 Ford F150 XLT SUPERCAB with towing and chrome package)Oh by the way the part about why my mother who is a retired special needs teacher in Charlotte Mecklenburg county is basically because I was diagnosed with a severe mass on my brain and I’ve had a subdormial suffer from Epilepsy now and hardest part is really and truly watching all your hard work that you have put blood sweat and tears in slowly have to be sold let go or like what recently happened which we paid to get it back from them after city of mt holly had 2 vehicles towed, 1 18 ft classic pull behind camper fully loaded with my materials and then had 2 dump trucks haul everything off my property that was covered with tarps in planters around the yard to make it look nice even where I bought 40 lb bags of marble chips from out Home Depot and a whole cube of landscaping bricks where I had just put in a permit for me and my father to build a 14 by 16 wood framed building in the yard!So hopefully your seeing what has been done to me even by the City of Mt Holly’s City MangerSupposedly code enforcement official(Joshua Blackwell of Lincolnton but a City of Mount Holly official(don’t think that’s right either) )Literally took all my brand new materials from just Purchased $12,500 project loan credit card to build this building and after “Josh Blackwell” even approved the project and permit himself but how was I to do it when he literally just took everything I had covered even with tarps that was literally sitting right where it had been marked and piers poured with lined out and staked to start this project with an approved construction permit for the project ( SO PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME HOW THATS RIGHT) he even made me pull our new 27ft Dutchman camper out of that yard and said they could on the property but yet 3 neighbors around me are little trying to act like it was lived in I have a home and my father who’s this property is has 2 additional bedrooms with nothing in them at all like why would I be in a camper I was going to fix that up also but we was doing building then get ideas so what was needed to fix the camper and then pull it up to the mountains where my father wanted to spend his remaining time on this earth at! Which I guess you all can see my point this evil spawn has destroyed everything I’ve truly believe in for my father and honestly it really hard not to have my own style of vengeance against this city employee BUT I WAS TAUGHT BETTER BY MY FAMILY!

We ordered online and picked it up at the store. Everything went quick and smooth. Staff was very polite. Only difficult thing was finding the "pick-up" parking spaces. (They are on the side of the building between Walmart and Lowe's.) That needs to be marked better.All-in-all... easy-peasy.

I was having an awful day yesterday. I had 2 Dr. Appts that didn't go well, and I stopped by Walmart to pick up 3 prescriptions. I needed a scooter to use while I was in the store. There was not 1 at the door. I was trying to limp and use a regular cart, but Eric (working the front door around 5pm on 1-15-24) was so kind. He came over to me and told me to have a seat and he would find a scooter for me. He was friendly, and he came back within 2 mins with a scooter. I I used self check out by that same door an hour later. He came over to see if I was OK. I told him "thank you for being so thoughtful and friendly. It really made a difference in my day." It's people like that who make this crazy world better. I hope someone from Walmart sees this and thanks him for being a wonderful employee. :)

Pretty standard Walmart Supercenter: very large, tons of options, tons of departments.Overall kept very clean and well stocked. Lots of self checkout stations at both entrances along with standard checkout lines.The options/departments of the store include but are not limited to:- grocery store area/ market- clothing- home store- garden center- bank and money center- nail salon- subway- Key cutting machine- redbox dvd rental machines- auto center- sporting goods- water jug exchange- bagged ice station- Murphy’s Express gas station on the property- and many more options

Some of these new people checking receipts at the door don't know the role and are too sassy and mouthy and sarcastic and combative and belligerent and either need better training or get shifted to a different task. Guy checks my receipt, then as I'm leaving he hollers at me and tries to pick a fight because I didn't thank him. What? I don't have to entertain or get chatty with your staff, I'M THE CUSTOMER. This is the dumbest, most messed up, unprofessional thing I've ever seen. Even for Wal Mart this is a new low....THERE'S MORE !!!Incredibly, this still keeps getting worse. Today a girl forcibly GRABBED MY CART while exiting the store. Delayed me for a good 30 seconds while she struggled to read the receipt. I'm done with regular shopping at WM. Hereafter, on those VERY FEW occasions when I still visit this dump, I'll only buy what can fit in ONE BAG. No carts. I'd like to see her try to grab ME. Because I'll be recording a video each time. I hope somebody does assault me again, because this time I will prosecute.What a dystopian toilet this wretched store has become.

Always busy everytime I go in. Too many self checkouts not enough cashiers. Too many customers, not enough space. People are very rude and inconsiderate in belmont, it seems. Specifically at Walmart.

I visit this location a few times a week early in the morning after I get off of work. This store has a reputation for being racist and anti LGBT towards customers. And as of late I have been over hearing the employees making fun of customers who are shopping in the store. The customers are minding their own and not acting out or anything . It's unprofessional and distasteful and the reason Walmart and its employees have a bad reputation. For people who work at Walmart they sure think they are better then anyone else. The customers they are making fun of are paying their wages so they should at least be respectful of the customers.

I would like to give 5 stars and excellent customer service to Zakk and the online team at Walmart Belmont for making sure my husband was able to get his TV delivered today after it being delayed for the last two day. Zakk made sure we were able to get our tv today and he was able to communicate everything that was going on through the process of no more than an hour. Again I would like to thank Online Order and Delivery for their support in making sure that we received our order. Happy Holidays!!! Again thanks Zakk🤗

It's Walmart. You can find everything that you need there. I stopped by on my way home from Charlotte to grab something to eat, and wound up getting a good bit of other stuff. This one is always clean, staff is friendly, and never crowded. I do all my grocery shopping here.

Hands down the WORST Walmart in North Carolina. Just hope you don’t have to deal with “0-star” Cynthia at customer service.Backstory:My husband and I needed printer ink so we go to the printer ink section and ask an associate to retrieve two cartridges of 902 ink from the locked shelf. She grabs two boxes and takes us to the register to pay straight away (she never once lets me hold the ink, which was not an issue at the time.). She rings us up as well as our other groceries and we drove home. Well, when we get home we realize we have ONE 902 and ONE 910. But the receipt says we bought TWO 902s. So we go back to the store the next day to exchange or return the 910, only to have Cynthia call us liars and say that she was going to check the cameras.Twenty minutes go by and our toddler is throwing a tantrum (and I’m also 8 months pregnant and she left us there standing). She finally returns and all she says as she hands is our receipt is, “I saw you on the cameras but your receipt doesn’t match the product so I don’t know what you want me to do about it.”We ask for an exchange and she says “this wasn’t purchased here” and points to some random sticker on the back of the box. (We assume it was purchased and returned at some point but we don’t know what those stickers even mean…)We ask to speak to a manager and she says “I AM the manager” and taps on her name tag. I ask for someone above her and she replies, “I’m the highest it gets ma’am. You have to deal with me and I can’t help you.”Dumbfounded that she won’t give us her manager’s name, we reiterate that it was purchased there YESTERDAY, and a mistake has been made, but she tells us to leave and starts helping other customers. We stand there for a few minutes waiting to see if she will come back, but when it was clear she wasn’t, we called the corporate customer service line.The associate on the phone asks to speak with her and tells her to help us, but she tells him that we were “screaming at her” but that she will do her best to help. But as she passes the phone back to me, she quietly mumbles, “I can’t help y’all. I don’t know what to tell you.”In the end, we were robbed of $50 and stuck with ink we never asked for. Some other “manager” told my husband to sell it online, as if that’s supposed to help us somehow. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother shopping at this store.

My Walmart trip was quick and painless as they say 😃 I went there with a set list to aim for to try and hope to skip the 1-2 hour sessions that sometimes occur , my moms and bargain hunters know what I'm referring to 😉 ... overall a nice trip and relatively all together a clean store ... Would definitely recommend this particular store 🙂

The parking lot can be scary. Several times I've noticed caravans parkdale for several days even weeks. And several times there are fights the people that live there and the cops come. During the month of December 2023 the cops were there so many times, one because he was locked in the bathroom in a very small camper that was attached to a pickup truck. A lot of domestic violence in the parking lot.

We were in search of a 86’ LG TV for our thanksgiving gathering (last minute of course) We called our local Walmart (the gastonia location) which they tell us they had the tv we were looking for in stock. Once we arrived the gentleman who seem to care less about us being there informed us they actually don’t have to TV. Fine, we’ll try the belmont Walmart. The second my brother in law made eye contact with the young gentleman working the electronics, he asked us what we were looking for (he wasn’t messing around) when we told him he jumped up and looked in the back for us. luckily for us they did have it in stock! awesome. the young man checked us out and even suggested a thinner and cheaper tv mount then the one we were going to get! Not only that, he loaded the giant tv on a pusher, and brought it out to our truck! He had a great attitude and was very helpful. Give the man a raise asap. wish i had gotten his name, he had a beanie on working around 9 in the electronic section on 11/20/23

Update: went today for the first time in over a year. Still much more pleasant than any other Wal-Mart in my areaIt's no secret that the Belmont Walmart location has a few problems......but considering how awful a trip to Walmart can be, this location isn't half bad. I felt much more relaxed and at ease shopping at this location. It was irritating that they didn't seem to be very well stocked, but that seems to be an issue that plagues every Walmart I've ever been to in my life.

My personal problem with Walmart is that they never have enough registers open .I don't work at Walmart, so I don't feel it's my job to work there when I go there to shop. They are already making us work the baggers job, and we're not getting paid for that. If Walmart is going to get free labor from their customers, the least they could do is give us a discount on what we purchase. I used to be a very loyal customer, I shopped there once a week but started having a very bad situation with their undercover security guy. He started following me around every time I walked in the door. Needless to say, Walmart is not my goto place to shop anymore. I may swing in every once in a blue moon to grab an item if I'm in a bind. Plus, most of the food they're selling is designed to make us sick and / or to kill us and our children, and they know this, but they chose to sell it anyway because their love for money is much greater than their love for their customers. Don't get me started. Having said that, I love life people, and I want to live .
