There's a Roses up the street from me but I grew up going to the Roses in Belmont and when I tell you I truly enjoy this place especially the employees. Everyone is very helpful and so sweet. This is definitely one of my go to stores for reasonable clothes, household products and old school candy like Mary Janes, Bit-o-honey and fruit chews for only $1.25. You can literally find all types of cookies, Jack in the box caramel popcorn, Mary Jane's, bit-o-honey and other childhood favorites. Takes me back to my younger days when kids were kids and appreciated the simple snacks. I go in for one thing and come out with like 15 items. One stop shop like Walmart. Everything you need in one location. I have no cons about this location. Anywhere you go there will be long lines, it just depends how bad do you want the product and how patient are you. For me, i've learned to have patience. The lines don't bother me. It's the great customer service that keeps me coming back. Great conversations and vibes.

This was my first time at this store in Belmont. It's larger than the other store or at least appears to be ( Charlotte Eastway) with different items. The checkout clerk was helpful and I will definitely drive back out here for shopping again!

Not only did the Dove products smell ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE DOVE. I buy it enough to know. Matter of fact it smelled like baby shampoo IDK. I didn’t complain to each it’s own. But i draw the line with the expired food. EVERY SINGLE ITEM IN THAT COOLER WAS EXPIRED AND DISCOLORED. I politely ask for a mgr NOT TO COMPLAIN TO BRING AWARENESS. MAYBE THEY ARE ONLY REQUIRED TO CHECK IT ONCE A MONTH 🤷🏽‍♀️. The cashier says she probably busy. Okay i told the cashier to come to me and i whispered it to her and pointed it out. She said Oohh god and went back to ringing customers up. I will never return EVER I DONT CARE WHAT IT IS IM LOOKING FOR. I definitely want to bring awareness.

Good prices. But it could be taken better care of inside. The womens bathroom needs a lot of work. Been visiting the store for many years and I've seen a lot of customers there. They sell a lot of stuff. Just needs to work on the cleanliness of the store. Not sure why its not done.

Rose's in Belmont NC is THE BEST ROSES TO VISIT! WHY? The ABSOLUTE HANDS DOWN BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. My new good friend Nick over in the Furniture & Flooring department went ABOVE and BEYOND to exceed my expectations in the service I receive . Very kind, patient, soft spoken young man who wont quit till you're satisfied. Kudos to this young man. He is a MAJOR ASSET to this compan . I am SO HAPPY and SATISFIED with my new BED, COUCH, and Rug for my apartment. I'm so GRATEFUL for all of Nick's efforts into making sure I got everything I wanted. Thank you again Nick! GOD BLESS YOU!💙

I've shopped at roses all my life. Love this store. Great selection, great prices, friendly employees, & clean store. And love Wednesday senior citizen 10% discount. I buy all my clothes, & household items here.

I shop here a lot and spend plenty here, but some of these ladies are really rude ,no customer skills or professionalism at all. I was treated very rude while bringing in a return . No greeting , no can I help you just a “do you have your receipt”? as the older lady beside her helping or training this younger lady she whispered rudely through the whole process .They would not return the item with the receipt I had because it was exchange receipt.( Im sure thats what the whispering was about) but it clearly stated that I paid the difference if anything . They called a manger only to offer a store credit , because I didn’t have both receipts ,so I declined because of the amount I payed for the item . There where no options ,no customer service skills whatsoever. Then just rude to top it off for most of these ladies here to be Roses veterans!

Great selection of clothing's, but sizes are not on point. Prices are great. Bathroom is horrific! Def don't use it. Looks like an outhouse exploded. There's no way the employees use it.

We needed an area rug for the living room. Rose's has a large selection and reasonable prices. Found one we liked and BONUS !The rug guy gave us the senior discount on top of the sale price!

Kind of a dumpy place where you think you're getting deals on Chinese/dollar store merchandise. It's fun to walk around and look at what they have but I usually never find much for my needs here. It's bigger than big lots but I think the Ollie's closer to Gastonia is a better bet for your time if you're not looking for clothes.

This is my favorite discount store. Everything may not be neatly in place he still can find some great deals if you take the time to look. You can find some great deals on clothing. Another great deal you can look for is the As Seen On TV products you can get these products much cheaper here than you can at stores like Walgreen and CVS and Walmart. Check it Out folks

Terrible. How is this place still open... They actually sell used clothes as if they were new. I'm talking about faded pajama pants covered in lint balls. They even had a pair of jeans with mud or poop stains in the butt! A lot of other damaged clothes there as well. You would be better off going to a yard sale. I originally went there for the antique store that use to be next door and just went there for sh*ts and giggles. Literally.

Rude employees and I would rather use a Port a Potty then the restroom there. The restrooms at a drive in theater is cleaner. You should know the regular prices of items at other stores or you may pay way to much.

I've been going to Rose's here in Belmont for years now. I understand the employees dont care about the customers, because after all, how much would anyone care at a minimum wage pay rate ..? But this pandemic has them way too shook up and scared of everyone. If you're so scared of the virus, why are you out working in a public place anyways ? Stay home & draw unemployment 🤷‍♀️ you'll probably make more sitting on your butt than you will at Rose's.

Roses may be considered a discount store but they stock a large variety of items. This store offers good quality clothes, shoes, home goods,furniture, limited grocery items, toys and garden supplies. Prices are low but quality is good.

I’ve paid the price so you won’t have too. Don’t buy the plants and bulbs from here. None of them have come up. Alliums and crocus are usually hard to kill and none of the bulbs I purchased grew.

Good place for cheap clothes and stuff! Step below TJMaxx and Ross and the like but okay selection. Store usually is a mess and hard to find what you need but it is not bad for the price you pay.

Hands down the Best Roses. There's one in Charlotte on freedom drive but they are nothing like this one. Everything is in place organized more selection of different stuff. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We just went here to buy rugs and carpet! Parking is easy. It's a discount store. Lots of stuff sold at lower prices, they have almost everything!
