Two stars cause the store is nice, well stocked, and floor staff are friendly and customer focused. They lose 3 stars because of their groomers, and I'll tell you why.There's no way they actually washed our dog. He came out stinkier than when he went in. It was like they got him wet, maybe applied soap on the top of his back, rinsed, and spent 3 minutes under a dryer. He was still wet when we picked him up, but that's forgivable if not for everything else. Do not take your dog here to be groomed. Some lessons are more expensive than others (~$70 after tip and a couple add ins). I brought my dog to a groomer thinking they could do a better job than me. Unfortunately, that just wasn't the case for us.

Friendly staff and a small store as usual. They were missing a good deal of stuff but that could have been due to when I went. The dog cleaning station was a bit messy but that also isn't normal.

Make sure u keep the dead fish and bring it in otherwhise no return pictures dont count eigther ( not even with time stamp)..... after not even 24hrs of buying. Guess thats y it was the fish of the month?!... not going there again. Now I got a sad daughter and they lost a costumer for sure!

They somehow never have clean towels for the dog wash. Grinch came early this year is the only explanation. Not sure how you run out of all the towels at once.... do you only own 2 towels? Or do you only wash them twice a month because I've never seen a towel. BYOT if you decide to use the dog wash station at this location. Holy.

This place made my day!! I called looking for the Primal Beef frozen marrow bone for my dog, they did not have the one that I needed but Sean (apologies if I misspelled the name!) offered other brands and he went above and beyond to even send me a photo for another option. I drove over 40 mins to pick up the bones and my trip was so worth it! He was not there when I arrived but the two staff members that were there, are equally amazing!! I ended up finding the other treats that my dog loves and placed an order for the Primal bones that I wanted, they will even deliver them to me. I am all about Great Customer Service and this store really exceeded my expectations! Super clean, very well stocked and wide aisles a plus!! 🐾🐾🐾 thank you for all the help! Looking forward to the bones!

I am so happy Pet Supplies Plus now has a Belmont location! The store is clean and well organized, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I ordered several bags of dog food today and they were delivered to my door within one hour. The food is significantly cheaper than other pet stores or ordering online through Amazon/Chewy. Their rewards program sends out coupons pretty frequently as well. As long as they are in Belmont, I won't get my pet supplies anywhere else!

Went to this location at 4:40 on Sunday 10/22 to use self serve dog wash the store closes at 6pm.. Employee told me they close dogwash at 5pm and basically was trying to deter me from using the dog wash even though it doesn’t take any longer than 10 minutes to wash a dog. Did not have any clean towels took longer to get the towels than to wash my dog. Not a lot of friendly people that work there had a very bad attitude about using the dog wash that was open at 4:40 and keep in mind they close at 6 on sundays. So i dont know what the problem is the dog wash area is never cleaned throughout the day so its not my fault they wait last minute to clean it. At least it was clean when i used it to wash my dog for the first time only because they were trying to close it early. One of the wash areas didn’t have a dryer its always something wrong back there. I only have one more wash left on my dog wash pass i will probably not come back to use it not worth the headache. Its sad because i like supporting small businesses but i really dont like the attitude of some of the workers there and i dont like putting myself or my dog in stressful situations.

Was able to find my dog’s food, couldn't find it anywhere else. Great variety of products! My dogs love the baked cookies! The groomer, Ariana, was the BEST! Super gentle and patient with my Yorkie! Planning on continuing getting groomer services and products from Pet Supplies Plus!

Great place to get treats there hand made cookies are always one of my dogs go tos. A one stop place for food treats washing grooming or nails. We love going to pet supplies plus and have always been impressed with the Belmont location.

Signs have said “switching management, sorry for being out of stock” yet it’s been over a month. 9 times out of 10 you’re out of my dog’s food. Please fix the supply issue, I’m tired of driving an hour round trip to Tractor Supply.

It would really be great if they actually had my dogs food in stock I go here for it specially then I have to go to the other store or vice versa when I need it I always have to get something different and he is highly sensitive/allergic to so many things ..but this is the only place I can find purina pro plan salmon or lamb for senior dogs..it’s just either I can’t ever get the exact bag I need!Please stock purina pro plan sensitive skin, and stomach 7 year+ salmon for my dogs sake pleeeease 😔

I just go there for a doggy wash. You wash your dog yourself, they provide the shampoo and towels. They have a good selection of different varieties of shampoo. They have a drying vacuum if your dog will allow that. There are three stalls. It's $10 per wash or a membership for five for $25. It's a much better deal than the $60 that I was paying at the groomer and my dog leaves not smelling like a wet dog. I am very pleased with this place.

I get everything for my pets here (except beds because they are too small for my danes). They have a huge selection and lots of toys, antlers, clothes, and more. They are also more reasonably priced for the most part. Their self dog wash station is also very nice.

I have shopped multiple occasions in store and ordered three times for curbside/store pick up from the Belmont NC location of Pet Supplies Plus. After ordering a couple of days ago, I received a phone call from the nicest young man telling me that a couple of the items I ordered online were unavailable and he helped me select substitutions. He seemed genuinely interested in making satisfied with my purchase and was so kind. My order was then ready within the hour as he promised. When I picked up my items today, I found a hand written “thank you” note in an envelope attached to my bag thanking me for my purchase. I call that above and beyond customer service. I appreciate this kind of service and I will continue to shop at Pet Supplies Plus in Belmont and share my experience with my friends. Thank you for providing outstanding customer service!

I love PSP! The staff at the Belmont NC store are very caring and knowledgeable. I typically use the store in Concord NC and especially the groomers there are fabulous! Sarah has taken the time to get to know my very shy and scared dog, Sierra, and now Sierra will actually give Sarah a tail wag and has become accustomed to getting her bath. I would not take Sierra anywhere else and now also take my foster dog, Kane. Love these people!

I love this pet store! The prices are amazing and the facility is so clean! However, I am not a fan of the grooming services that my Puppy receives. There has been two occasion where my dog looked like he never received a bath! His feet are dirty his face is dirty , and he is not thoroughly brushed out. So I have to go home and wash him and brush him out myself, completely defeating the purpose of the grooming service.

Staff is friendly however I never get that sense of willingness to help. If I ask about something it's just no we don't carry that. I have never been offered help to try and find it, call a different location. I was making small talk at the register saying how I was so bummed I just barely missed the awesome coupon in the email but I didn't make it in time before they closed the day it expired. The girl checking me just scanned my stuff and gave me my total.

This is a newer store and the staff is very helpful. I needed dog food they were out of but had a large bag. The larger bag was more per lb, but they actually price match per lb. I had no idea. Very impressed with the knowledge of the staff on the different dog foods as well.

Store is close to being empty. I bought a jar of angel eyes for my elderly dogs tear stains and it expired over a year and a half ago.

This store was clean and well stocked. They had a huge selection of high quality food kibble. The customer service was excellent. I got slightly frustrated that it was difficult to get up and down the aisles. A few were blocked by pallets and stairs.

Love that this place is full stocked. Went in for the first time (first dog) the agent at the register was very professional and empathized with me having a new pup. She offered the biscuit at the front and was very informative while checking me out. I don’t remember her name but she was model tall and very sweet

Frequent visitor of both the Belmont and Gastonia store. By far the best team members to be working retail and selection is out standing. Started shopping here just 4 months ago. Customer for life now.
