I stopped by here yesterday to pick up some salt water. I got there just as they were about to close, but the two young ladies working stayed and were both very helpful. I didn't want to keep them any longer than I had to so I only browsed there fish/coral selection for a minute or two. Everything looked clean and healthy so I'll definitely be going back.

This place is on point, awesome selection of very well kept corals at perfectly fair prices. I was so impressed the owner, David, included the fantastic live rock home for the carpet anenome I bought today. That live rock was worth $25 to $30, what a deal! It was like buying that gorgeous anenome for like $40 or $45! I also learned a lot of new stuff and got great attention and advice. Thanks! Looking for freshwater aquarium plants and accidentally ended up here - it's a great store with a lot of amazing saltwater animals, and I'm looking forward to them expanding into freshwater aquariums over the next few months! The owner is really friendly and helpful.

Small store but a decent selection of fish and a TON of coral! (Which is what I went for). Great prices on them too and nice quality corals, all looked super healthy and happy.

Just set my tank back up after moving down south 10 years ago. So my 378 gallon beauty has been in storage. Went in to visit this store after spending 4 days researching and updating myself online with prices on all sorts of stuff. I am EXTREMELY satisfied to see that their prices were that of online or better on some items! Bought a beautiful piece of live rock and 2 bottles of seed bacteria to help get me going. Also had a lot of questions for them getting myself back up to speed after the 10 year hiatus! Never did he seem annoyed or try to break away. Hard to find good customer service these days but they had it! I'll definitely be back to support the local business as my tank goes through the cycle nightmare!

Place has a sweet selection of frags and a decent variety. Great prices all across the board and knowledgable staff. Tanks are clean and my frags didn't have any unwanted algae or hitchhikers. They even gave me an online special they were running on zoas that wasn't advertised in store. Definitely worth your time to check them out!

Can't go wrong with these guys, they're not going to tell you what you want to hear to get a sale done. Small store but plenty to look at, especially coral selection. Decent advice from them as well (seems to be working for my 55gallon).No public bathroom cause someone decided to be a butthead, I would recommend this store if you're looking for some really decent prices on a good choice of frags. Fish selection seems to be the same across the board with a few exceptions, but the corals is where it's fun with saltwater anyway.

Awesome store! David and Jenni are very friendly and incredibly helpful. The store offers a large selection of saltwater fish and coral, but if you can't find what you need, they are more than willing to order it for you. I ordered a Flame Fin Tang and got it within a few days.

This is hands down the best local fish store around. I'm fairly new to reef keeping, but I have visited every LFS in the Gastonia to Charlotte area. Advanced aquatics is a family owned and operated business and it is clear that you are not just a dollar sign when you walk through the door. They have a good selection of fish in stock and the corals are amazing and very reasonably priced.

This is a family run business by a family who loves what they do. They have a great selection of Saltwater fish and coral from frags to show pieces. Their livestock is healthy and always acclimates well to my tank. Their prices are great, and this is now the only place I go for anything fish or coral related.

I was blown away by how healthy all the coral frags where at Advanced Aquatic Pets. Super wide selection too. Most of these frags are being propagated and grown right there. While the shop itself is small and in need of a little care, clearly these folks are putting their time and effort toward the fish and coral and that's the most important part of our hobby.

Mom-N-Pop actually are Mom-N-Pop at this local fish store. And it's refreshing to do business with people who you know by name.Fish are not run in copper and they are kept in 1.025 salinity with UV sterilized water systems. Nothing is hiding under the guise of sub-therapeutic copper or hyposalinity. Take your fish home, freshwater dip or do a bath and put it in your observation tank. No prolonged acclimation or massive transitions required.AAP may not have what you want in stock, but probably do have what you need. And they're great people to do business with.

Super helpful! I don't have a salt water aquarium but the guy I talked to pointed me the right direction with the help I needed for my freshwater aquarium. Which was so nice, I have also Visited the store and they have beautiful live coral and nice fish selection. Highly recommend!

Best aquatic store in the area. Family owned and they are very helpful. Always a great selection of fish, corals and supplies. They also have the best prices and always have specials on Friday. By far my favorite store to go to for my aquarium needs.

We just decided to stop in Saturday after I walk on the track I haven't seen such lovely fish in quite some time. The store was full of people... Very nice I would advise anyone looking for good prices .. he seemed extremely busy but very helpful to those who need his help.
