We've never given a 5 star review because we believe there is always room for improvement. Our stay at Between Water and Main proved me wrong! Kasey and Kevin have created a meditative space, beautifully appointed, with care and love. From the towels to the deliciously prepared breakfast and the quiet attention paid to our needs and stay in Belhaven. They standout and above many of the B and B's we have stayed in our many travels. We loved our stay at Between Water and Main. Kasey and Kevin are the innkeepers and are a delightful and kind couple. They are friendly but unobtrusive at the same time, which Kasey said is one of their goals. The inn is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean which is welcome by all I think. They served a delectable breakfast which was enough for lunch, too! We plan to stay there again on our boat voyage back to Maryland in the spring. Another added plus: out of all the beautiful place we stopped, and there were 12, we felt the most love from the locals about their town. When walking, almost all passersby waved. At Spoon, a lovely restaurant on Main St., one of the owners talked about how much she loved the town as did Kasey. That alone is a reason to visit Belhaven as well as for the beauty.

My husband and I stayed at Between Water and Main this past weekend. When you see an all 5 star rating sometimes you may question is any place that perfect ? Well I have to say I totally get it now. Kasey and Kevin were amazing hosts. They served us a wonder breakfast. Our room and bathroom was beautifully decorated and spacious. We love Belhaven and so we will no doubt be back!

We were blessed to stay at this amazing BnB in early October 2023. All I can say is, wow! If you are in the Belhaven area or on the ICW, treat yourself to a stay at Between Water & Main. The location is great, the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, and the owners, Kasey and Kevin, are so kind and caring and they make a fabulous breakfast. They go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and well fed! I would highly, highly recommend staying at Between Water and Main! 👍❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wow...what a wonderful experience my wife and I had at Between Water & Main! Great rbedoom, large bathroom with all the necessities, great breakfasts, wonderful cocktails, and Kasey and Kevin were extraordinary hosts. We felt that we were visiting relatives...on the good side of the family! We were pleasantly surprised by the very good restaurants in the area. Treat yourself to a stay at Between Water & Main.

I’m a year late reviewing this place. We visited here Oct/21 and March of 22 . Our purpose was finding a lot or home to move to and especially find what the residents are like. During our first visit, I got to have conversation with Kasey and her description of the area and people was exact. The people here are genuinely courteous! The second visit was to buy. Kasey and Kevin are better than their B&B and that’s hard to trump. I’m ruined for other B&B’s after staying here. Exceptional!

Between Water and Main has amazing innkeepers whose attention to details make all the difference! From the atmosphere of comfort in a beautifully furnished Victorian, with custom window treatments and upholstery to the most comfortable beds, linens (and those robes!), the experience was superb.The breakfast and coffee were outstanding as well! The location is lovely, with water and garden views. We’ll be back!

Kasey was a wonderful host and carefully saw to every need/wish. We loved the Duck Blind Cottage and its charming decor. Although the mattress proved so soft that it gave my wife and I backaches, that was the only complaint we could think of. The small town feeling around the B&B was restful and companionable, with every passerby waving a friendly hello. During our time there, activities were scarce, so we found ourselves with little to do outside the grounds of Between Water and Main. Everything considered, we had a wonderful vacation, thanks to Kasey and her attention to detail. Check out Between Water and Main for your next vacation!

This B&B is hands down the best little get away I have ever found! Everything about this place is perfect! Kasey, the innkeeper is adorable and so charming! And she made me biscuits! I can’t say enough about how wonderful my stay was here! From the beautiful house, the comfy bed, her biscuits and homemade granola, the amazing shower, the peace and quiet, the great shopping close by, I could go on and on!! I loved it here! And I will definitely be back!!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. We could not have been more pleased! Kasey was an excellent host and was more than accommodating when we needed to reschedule at the last minute. The house is beautiful and most importantly, CLEAN! We felt very comfortable and at ease the entire time we stayed. The house is located a very short walk from an excellent restaurant and shopping. The breakfast Kasey and her husband served was amazing! Homemade granola on yogurt, drizzled with honey and heart shaped waffles made for very full bellies. Luckily, we could walk off some calories while enjoying views of the river, as well as the beautiful historic homes located in Belhaven. Between Water & Main is on our list of places to stay again! Give Kasey a call and give the charming town of Belhaven visit.

It was our second stay at Between Water and Main and, again, the experience made a simple overnight get-away delightful and satisfying. It is clear Kasey and Kevin set a high standard for guest care and comfort in this attractive (and immaculate) inn. Coming and going to nearby shops, across the street to the riverfront, and through a lovely Bel Haven neighborhood was easy. Back at the inn, coffee and water readily available, places to sit and enjoy the quiet abundant, and just being serene a welcome luxury. We will escape to Between Water and Main often.

I can’t say enough great things about Between Water and Main! Such care given to details! They have anticipated every need and were gracious and kind. The beautiful home was so extraordinarily clean. After nearly 20 years of marriage, my wife and I decided to stay here for our first bed and breakfast experience. What a treat! Casey was amazing. She worked so hard to think of every detail and make sure we didn’t lift a finger. Room was stylish, immaculate, and had a terrific view of the Belhaven waterfront. Breakfast was wonderful! As a couple that loves to travel, this experience will be among our most cherished!

My daughter and I stayed there this past weekend and LOVE everything about this location. We stayed in the cottage which is located behind the main house. Hopefully, I will be able to convey our stay, but I also deem my description as an understatement because you must experience the stay. The owners pay attention to details by creating an atmosphere of comfort. For example, the first thing that caught my eye was the color choices on the walls. Perfect choice for a calming environment. Secondly, the functionality of natural pieces throughout the cottage gives it a rich feel. Lastly, no television in the bedroom was a huge plus for me because it emphasizes on the rest one must take.These are only a few things, but definitely not limited to the all the delightful elements regarding our stay. Clean. Safe. Quiet. Extremely private. We love it and can’t wait to visit again.Special note: THE OWNERS ARE ROCKSTARS!

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely B&B. We wanted to re-set after a very busy time and we wanted to be by the water. It was an exceptional experience. The hosts are truly gifted professionals. The B&B is immaculate and gorgeous. The food is incredible! As an added bonus we received a complimentary morning yoga class (we needed to re-set. My husband and I both did yoga and truly benefitted from it. My husband isn't flexible but he appreciated the time to appreciate what he had done and set his positive intentions about the future). We also visited the wildlife preserve and that too was incredible. Highly recommended.

My only complaint is that Google won't let me give more than five stars. My wife and I went to Belhaven for our anniversary. We happened to stumble across this little town by accident during a boating event and just had to come back. Through a series of unfortunate events, we were redirected to the quaint Between Water and Main. As we walked in, we were warmly greeted with friendly welcomes and a beautiful period-appropriate decor. We were shown to our rooms, where Kasey had prepared a bouquet of cotton for us as it was our cotton (2nd) anniversary per my request. Once we were settled in to our beautiful room with an amazing bay window that overlooked the water, we were invited down for a few fancy cocktails. Later that evening after eating dinner, we returned to find a very relaxing swing hanging from the tree in the front yard with soft lights pleasantly creating a peaceful ambiance. We awoke the next morning after an amazing nights sleep on a very comfortable mattress to a gourmet breakfast made by Karen. She had asked us the previous day what we would like for breakfast and wow, did she deliver! My only regret is that we didn't have more time to stay longer. We will certainly be staying again in the near future. The hospitality, the beautiful decor, and the natural scenery made our anniversary one that we will forever remember.

We stayed 7/3-7/5/2020. We had an incredible time in this must visit town. After exploring the downtown area it was a very short walk to Between Water and Main. Parking off street is very secure. That's where Kasey takes "incredible" to the next level. Our room was outstanding, facing Water St., and looking over the river. Kasey sent us out the door Sat morning FULL from her special breakfast. (not gonna tell, you have to go!!!) It rained on Sat. afternoon, no problem the wife and I sat at the large bay window sipping cocktails and sending pics to the family. The rain stopped and we went out to enjoy the fireworks. Sunday morning was waffles, OH YES the wife's favorite. They have their own special blend of coffee, just delicious. All the fruit is fresh, produce locally sourced, and elegantly served in several beautiful rooms on the main level. We stayed in the Bellhaven room which we highly recommend, large and comfortable. Kasey went out of her way to try to get us a table at a local restaurant, our bad for not making a reservation. If you are ever in this area we highly recommend you give this B & B a try. Just sent 2 wonderful nights here & thoroughly enjoyed Belhaven & this B&B! We stayed in the Terra Ceia room which was very spacious, comfortable & immaculately clean!! We enjoyed getting to know the owners during the wine hour & the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful!! Walking distance to great restaurants as well!! Very relaxing & we look forward to returning!!
