This is my favorite kind of antique store. Lots of booths. Lots of different types of antiques and memorabilia. I found a couple of the porcelain shoes I collect! The staff was very friendly! There is not an associated parking lot so you find parking on the street. There is also no public restroom. If in Beaufort you should definitely stop in. You never know what treasures you will find. There was even a section near the front of discounted items.

Stopped in here to have a look around. An eclectic mix of antiques and vintage wares. I was impressed by the antique glass collection. Also had some of the nicest antique tool collections for a small antique store. The lady at the register was very helpful in helping me to locate the items I was looking for! Thanks for a nice shopping experience!

First and probably last visit. All was fine until we finally found something. The look we got when we asked to get something out of a lock case was almost enough for us to leave right then and there. Didn't ask what we wanted to get out, just opened the case and looked at us. Very rude!

No restroom for customers, so plan accordingly. I called the next time I was in town to see if they allowed dogs (lots of other places in the area do) and rather than answer my question they immediately hung up on me instead. You could've just said no.

Marketplace Antiques is a nice little antique shop located in the heart of historic Beaufort. I found several treasures during my family's visit, as did my wife and my father. Unlike some antique stores, the vendors all carried genuine and quality antiques, as opposed to filling booths with faux-tiques and undesirables. Most of the vendors had reasonable prices, and prices to move objects. The staff was welcoming and we had good conversations during our visits. I look forward to heading back again.

Great antique store a must if you like to hunt antiques. They have stuff from kitchen ware, glassware, crystal, vintage coins, sports memorabilia, comics, vintage nautical, primitives, old country store items, metal signs, furniture, and even a vintage Barbershop chair. So many other items. Have numerous dealers so each time you go in you will find something new that is probably really old. Happy Hunting!!!WWII signal Flags last time I was in the store.

Stop in only if it is convenient. Otherwise not a friendly place. Yak yak yak. No attention to visitors. Go socialize somewhere else. Are you running or ruining a business?

Decent selection, but sky-high prices and rude service. There are many better antique stores in the area that actually want your business.
